Chapter 195: Sporelord... The Monster Massager
Zain was covered in the corrosive bile, his skin burning as the acid ate through his armor.
His body sizzled, smoke rising from his arms and chest.
His hands trembled, but his eyes remained sharp.
He grinned through the pain.
"Good," he thought.
"The more injured I am, the stronger I’ll get."
His [Heavenly Demon Body] pulsed with energy.
Every drop of blood that fell only made his body tougher.
But he frowned as he looked at his hands.
"My energy’s almost gone," he thought.
"I can only use [Heavenly Demon Breathing] now."
He took a deep breath.
He drew all energy in, no matter how corrosive it was.
His body glowed as it converted everything into [Heavenly Demon Ether].
The Sporelord watched him. Its big eye blinked slowly.
Zain stood still, breathing, his eyes closed.
The Sporelord didn’t know what was happening.
It thought Zain was injured, maybe dying.
The Sporelord’s mouth split wide, acidic bile dripping.
It smirked. The Sporelord activated [Brood Spawning].
Broodlings crawled out of its back, their eyes red.
The Sporelord used [Corrosive Bile Spray] again, spraying the acid everywhere.
The ground sizzled, steam rising.
Tendrils shot out, aiming for Zain’s arms and legs.
Poison dripped from their tips.
Broodlings and Sporeguards charged from all sides, their claws ready to tear Zain apart.
Zain didn’t flinch. He kept breathing, drawing in energy.
He didn’t use the new ether to fight.
Instead, he used it to heal and strengthen his body.
His mind was clear.
"The more I’m attacked, the more my [Heavenly Demon Body] grows."
"This is perfect training," he thought.
One Broodling leapt at him, claws out. It scratched his chest, blood spurting.
Zain’s skin glowed, the wound closing instantly.
A Sporeguard slammed its claw into his side.
Zain staggered but didn’t fall. His energy flowed, his body hardening.
The Sporelord’s tendrils wrapped around his arms and legs.
Venom poured into his veins. His eyes glowed red.
"Good," he thought. "More pain. More strength."
The Sporelord didn’t know it was now a training machine for Zain.
It kept attacking, thinking Zain was weak.
Zain’s grin widened.
"You’re helping me," he thought. "Keep going."
He stood in the middle of the chaos.
Acid burned his skin. Claws tore his flesh. Poison filled his veins.
And all the while, he breathed.
His [Heavenly Demon Ether] kept growing inside him, making him stronger.
Broodlings screamed as they attacked.
Sporeguards swung their claws. The Sporelord roared.
Zain stood still, breathing.
"More," he thought. "Give me more."
His body was a mess of blood and burns, but he stood tall.
"This is my path," he thought. "The path of the Heavenly Demon."
The Sporelord roared again, its eye wide.
It didn’t understand why Zain was still alive.
Zain laughed.
"You’re too weak," he thought. "You can’t kill me."
He clenched his fists.
"Soon," he thought. "I’ll show you what real power is."

Skybrand returned to the AA-rank lounge, her wings folding neatly behind her.
She walked across the room, her steps steady.
Neuro watched her, his silver-gray eyes calm.
"Quite fast," he said, his voice quiet but clear.
Skybrand stopped in front of him, arms crossed.
"He’s not with the Heavenly Demon Sect."
Neuro raised an eyebrow.
"Why?"
Skybrand let out a small laugh.
"Because he was stupid and weak. He dared to fight five Sporeguards by himself."
Neuro’s expression didn’t change, but his voice grew sharper.
"He was seriously injured by them?"
Skybrand nodded.
"You know Sporeguards are AA-rank monsters. No one fights that many alone."
Neuro leaned back.
"Weird. He was young and already became an AA-rank hero. He must be a genius."
Skybrand smirked.
"Like you said, he was a genius. And geniuses always act arrogant."
"They fight above their levels."
She glanced around the room.
"You know there are a lot of heroes like that here. AA-rank is different from A-rank."
Neuro closed his eyes for a moment.
"I see. You’ve got a good point."
Skybrand’s eyes glowed.
"Let’s stop talking about him."
"Help me figure out how to hunt those Heavenly Demon Sect girls."
"Especially their leader, Velvet Demon."
Neuro’s eyes opened, his silver glow steady.
"You want a plan?"
Skybrand nodded.
"Yes. Make me a plan."
Neuro’s lips curved into a small smile.
"Sure. I’m already making that."
Skybrand tapped her sword hilt.
"Good. Let’s see how long they last."
Neuro turned his gaze away, his fingers moving as if typing in the air.
"They won’t last long."
Skybrand’s eyes glinted.
"Then let’s do it."
Neuro’s smile was thin.
"It’s already started."
Skybrand turned away, her wings rustling.
"Then let’s finish it."

Zain stood there, his body battered and bleeding, but his grin was wide.
He kept breathing, pulling in the energy around him and cultivating it.
The Sporelord watched him, its single eye narrowing.
It couldn’t understand.
There were more than a thousand Broodlings swarming around, their claws scraping at the ground.
More than ten Sporeguards stood with them, eyes glowing.
But Zain didn’t fall.
His body grew stronger with every scratch and bite.
He stood up tall, his fists glowing with dark ether."Quite a good training," he said.
"My body has become stronger again."
"Your poison, your corrosion—didn’t affect me much anymore."
He clenched his fists tighter, his smile turning sharper.
"Let’s fight back."
He dashed forward, his legs moving like a blur.
His fist swung and cracked the skull of a Broodling.
He didn’t slow down.
His other hand punched out, breaking a Sporeguard’s arm in one hit.
The Sporelord’s eye glowed brighter.
It didn’t roar, didn’t speak, but its tendrils lashed out in rage.
It activated [Hive Link], all Broodlings and Sporeguards moving together like one giant wave.
The factory floor shook as they charged at Zain, claws raised.
The Sporelord’s mouth split wide, a stream of green bile shooting out—[Corrosive Bile Spray].
Zain smirked, the acid washing over his chest. It burned, but he didn’t care.
"Too weak," he said, his eyes glinting.
He picked up the stick he’d used before.
It wasn’t a real weapon, but it was enough for him.
He covered it in [Heavenly Demon Ether] and threw it like a spear.
The stick spun through the air, the ether burning bright.
It pierced the Sporelord’s bony chest.
Black-green fluid burst out, splattering the floor.
Zain laughed.
"Really good—you bleed. Now," he raised his fist, ether swirling around it.
"Let’s finish this."
