"Get back down on your knees." Daniel coolly said, and Luna Angela suddenly groaned as she felt another aura, much more stronger than Nancy’s push her to the ground so that she was back on her knees again.

Daniel inched closer and felt disgust just looking at her.

"And she’s not disabled," Koan stood on her other side and Luna Angela growled louder, feeling her heart and brain clench like a paper being crumpled up as another aura from the other side forced her down. "She just has a disorder. There’s a big difference, and if you didn’t know it before, then know it now," He leaned down to be of her height and she shut her eyes close, clearly in pain. "You think she’s proud to call you a mother? No... she’s not. You’re so selfish and unapologetic, and even till now, you don’t see it do you," It was Talia, and she had a murderous glint in her eyes. "You’re the one who’s meant to live in a hole and die alone."

Jephthah felt his heart flutter as he saw Talia there, subduing a Luna further down to her knees with just her aura gotten from Beta blood.

"That’s enough.... " Alpha Henry said before he walked close to his Luna down on her knees, struggling from all angles where she was being subdued by each aura, stronger and unique than the other.

The others reluctantly stepped back, except Koan and Nancy.

Luna Angela felt like an anchor was lifted off her back as she could finally breath, shamelessly standing on her knees and panting slightly.

Nancy gave her father an apprehensive look as she waited for what he would say.

"I also have been a bad father, and a bad Alpha," He whispered. "And I’m willing to make it up to you with every second of my life. Starting now." He stretched his hand and Nancy glanced down at it before trailing it to his face.

After hesitating for a few seconds, she finally took the hand and gasped slightly as he pulled her in for a hug.

"I love you... and today, I’m the proudest father, because I have the most beautiful and fearless daughter in the whole world."

Nancy stiffened as she heard those words which stirred something deep within her. Before she realized it, she hugged him tighter, sniffling.

"I love you too dad."

Koan smiled in content.

Naomi couldn’t help but feel a little tinge of jealousy as she stared at the reunion going on there. She thought of her father and wished he had been a good man. Maybe he’d still be alive, and they’d be bonding like a normal family.

Her thoughts didn’t go unnoticed by Daniel who wrapped his hands around hers.

’Hey. At least you’ve met your dad, but I never knew my mum. But you... you were the best mother I could have ever asked for, and I’m hoping I’d be the dad in your life and fill in that space your father left out.’ He said, using the mind link.

She gave him a bashful smile and glanced away when he winked at her.

There was a joyous celebration. Everyone was eating, drinking, dancing... just doing anything to have fun and relieve the stress of thinking and panicking that they were all going to die.

Food and alcohol kept rolling in, fruity juices were for the children and the Omegas kept arriving with them on trays.

As per Alpha Henry’s orders, some pack warriors had bundled Luna Angela up, and Luna Ciara had led them to a suitable dungeon to lock her up in for the meanwhile, leaving her there to scream like a hysterical mad woman.

Koan, Nancy and the others sat with the Lunas and Alphas, making small talk which covered up their journey in Foxtune and so on.

John just sat there, exchanging cool side glares with his father, feeling a bit left out as his father communicated with Jephthah and left him to sit there and eat.

Talia arrived from taking pictures and signing autographs from some die hard fans who were from other packs. She sighed as she plopped up on her seat.

John automatically filled up her plate and glass, noticing how exhausted she was.

Seeing the expression on his face, she nudged him.

"What’s wrong? You usually love these type of gatherings.. you know... for the ladies and all that."

"Nah... " John sulked as he moved his fork around. "I’m not interested tonight."

"Now I’m certain you’re a Kitsune acting like John." She remarked sacarstically before her tone softened. "Really... What’s wrong?"

"What difference will it make if I tell you?"

"Try me."

"Forget It." John sighed, glancing somewhere before facing his meal.

Talia turned to his side where he had glanced at to see Jephthah and Alpha Kris talking quite familiarly with each other and realized John was feeling left out.

She got up and moved close to Jephthah, startling him.

"Excuse me, Alpha Kris... but I hope you don’t mind me borrowing your son here for a few minutes?"

Alpha Kris smirked.

"I don’t mind at all."

"Um... " Jephthah nervously mumbled before Talia pulled him up from his seat; towards the dance floor.

Nancy noticed Talia dragging Jephthah to the dance floor before turning to Koan. She suddenly got up and stretched her hand.

"Koan... would you like to have this dance with me?"

Koan paused for a moment as he stared at that hand, feeling nostalgic when he recalled the moment this exact same thing happened.

However, it was about to turn out differently.

Smirking, he placed his hand over hers before rising, towering over her.

"Yes. Yes I will."
