HER ALPHA'S CARNAL SINS -
Chapter 182: Raiden and Liliana
Chapter 182: Raiden and Liliana
"Here you go honey." Luna Tessa said, going round the huge dining table to personally hand Liliana a cup of hot melted chocolate before sitting back down —next to her sister-in-law, Luna Luan.
Tessa was Late Alpha Drake’s Luna of Crimson’s Moon pack and she was related to Luan since Luna Luan and Alpha Drake were siblings.
Luan tenderly put an arm around Tessa before glancing up at the others who had stuffed their stomachs, genuinely appreciative for having to eat such a delicious sumptuous meal after so many days.
"You all can go up to rest now." She said, and smiled at the relieved looks on their faces.
Without hesitation, they all scrambled upstairs to the rooms which the Omega had prepared for them, taking care to show their sincere condolence to Luna Tessa before retiring.
"Luna Tessa, thank you so much for taking us in... It really means a lot." Alpha Joseph said.
"I’d really appreciate It If you all stop thanking me. It’s really not a big deal. After everything you’ve gone through, you deserve more than this."
"I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you when... " Luna Luan began.
"It’s Okay. It will take some time for me to heal from this, but please don’t blame yourselves for it. None of us saw it coming and neither did you guys," Tears for the nth time rolled down her rosy cheeks, her emerald green eyes glassy wet with tears. "I just wish it didn’t happen. I just wish I didn’t witness my husband’s heart forced through his chest by those monsters." Luna Luan, seeing her state, also began shedding tears before hugging her in her embrace.
"I’m sorry. I’m so sorry." She just whispered, hugging the woman while Alpha Joseph came up behind the two women, rubbing their shoulders.

"Good. You’re here. Have a sit." John said, his eyes lighting up when Raiden walked in last.
When they were heading to their rooms to freshen up and change into the new clothes brought it for them to wear, John had announced that they’d all meet in his room after they must have finished with freshening up and changing.
And here they were, seating in a circle on the floor, legs crossed.
"So, Why did you call this gathering?" Raiden asked, coming to sit right beside Liliana who stiffened, holding the colar of her robe tightly to her neck.
"Well, first of all." He raised a bottle of tequila and Royce rolled his eyes. "I brought this."
"You stole that from the kitchen?" Jephthah was interested in knowing how he snuck the bottle up here.
"You don’t want to know." John instigated with a smirk.
"Just get to the point. Are we here to drink or... "
"Plan a party." John suddenly cut in.
Everyone stared at him like he was crazy.
"You do realize that our friends and mate," Liliana was referring to Royce. "Are.. I don’t know... miles away from here, risking their lives to protect our entire existence, and we haven’t heard from them. We don’t even know if they’re dead or still alive, and all you care about is... partying?"
"No one is dying. Look, the mind is a powerful place. More powerful than the heart or the Brian fused together. If you believe that they’re not going to succeed, then they won’t. We just have to keep up a positive attitude and stop being pessimistic. I mean, if we haven’t died yet... there’s still a greater chance that they’re still alive," Liliana parted her lips to say something but he continued. "And I’m not selfish. I’m obviously planning a party for everyone. Come on guys, we saved our entire existence! I mean if someone’s going to throw a party for turning alpha, why can’t we for saving lives?"
"I just think it’s absurd that we’re planning this without them." Jephthah bit his lip as he said, Talia on his mind again. Planning this party would be so much fun with her smile and two-mood attitude.
John glanced around and saw the solemn looks on their faces.
"You guys think they’re not going to make it, don’t you?"
"That’s not it. It just doesn’t feel the same doing this without everyone present."
"The whole pack in the werewolf territory is going to be there."
"Everyone John."
"I say we throw this party. We gather everyone, and we’ll do this at Moon Howler’s pack since it’s the largest pack." He brought his hand out, palm, face down to the ground. "We keep a positive mind about their arrival. If we can survive this, then they can. They will come back to us, because this is their home. They will triumph. What do you say?"
Every glanced around before turning to his hand still in the air.
Liliana placed her hand on his, palm-down.
"I second that."
Royce placed his hand.
"Me too."
Raiden placed his.
"Me too. I guess."
They all turn to Jephthah.
"I thought we’d be on the same page. You’re literally my other half."
"We don’t think alike, idiot." Jephthah countered, but with a smile, he placed his palm over Raiden’s.
"Okay now... let’s finish this bottle!!" John announced, already opening it up.
"Um... I uh... "As Liliana stuttered, Raiden turned to her and she got more nervous. "I would love to join you guys but I .. have to go to bed."
"Are you Okay?" Royce worriedly asked and everyone turned to her with a worried expression. She almost blushed.
"N.. No. I mean Yes. Yes! I’m okay.. uh... " She scrambled up. "Really. I am. I’m just... really sleepy. So... Goodnight guys." She practically ran out of the room before shutting the door behind her.
John shrugged.
"More for us then."
"I don’t drink." Jephthah pointed out.
"I don’t drink." John mimicked. "I can’t tell who’s the man between you and Talia."
The others laughed while Jephthah turned red.

Liliana’s eyes groggily opened as she noticed someone open her door before closing it back. Her eyes finally widened when a dark shadow crept Into her room.
Without thinking, heart beating fast, she switched the bedside light on.
"Damnit! It’s so f**King bright in here... what did you turn on? The sun?"
"Raiden?" She cautiously drew up the blankets, aware that her robe was carelessly cast onto the ground, leaving her in nothing but a skimpy nightgown that barely reached her thighs. "What are you... " her words got stuck to her throat when he sat down beside her, turning to switch off the light.
He smelt strongly of alcohol.
"What are you doing?" She asked in a hushed whisper, seeing him kick off his shoes before crawling into bed with her, slipping each leg inside the blankets.
He chuckled as he dropped his head on the pillow, looking up at the ceiling with an amused smile In his eyes.
"John got us more bottles."
Liliana’s eyes widened. "How many?"
He turned to her, and even in the dark, she could see the intense gaze of his blue eyes, and her heart did flips In her chest again.
"I lost count, but I’m drunk now." He chuckled again.
"That isn’t something to be proud of."
"Tell me... what do you know about drunk people."
She gave him a knowing look as she sat there, staring at his masculinity lying there like an array of sumptuous meals for her to devour.
"Well, they invade people’s privacy." She snapped at him.
He chuckled. "What else?"
"Their voice are usually slurred... " She frowned. "Why do you ask?"
He suddenly leaned up on his elbows before bringing her hand to his lips, and she shuddered on feeling his warm wet lips against her fingers.
"They also tell the truth no matter what." Her heart skipped a bit when he kissed her hand again, this time, their gazes locked. "What If I told you that I loved you. Would you believe me?"
She abruptly drew her hand and held it to her chest like his lips was replaced by a scorching hot iron as he said that.
"Raiden... " She got off the bed and stood at the bedpost, holding tightly onto it, scared that she would break it, yet, not willing to let go. "Please leave."
He sat up.
"I know you find this hard to believe, but just listen to me."
"That’s all I’ve been doing ever since we’ve known each other and all that’s ever left that mouth of yours is hurtful words. The last thing you said... you said you didn’t love me. You only lusted after me. You’re probably here to relieve yourself with me and the next day, you’ll go back to hating me."
"I don’t hate you Liliana. I never did. And I’m not a brute. I can’t use you for your body Liliana. For f**k’s sake, you’re my Alpha’s cousin. Would I hurt you?"
"You’ve hurt me."
There was silence as he stared at her, and he could hear her muffled sobs in the room.
Holding the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache coming in, he staggered off the bed, holding onto the bed post to steady himself.
"Put on your robe."
"What?" She sniffed.
"Just trust me, okay? Put on your robe. We’re heading out."
