He laughed maniacally; even as he faded off, stunning everyone present.

"I’m the last of my kind. I can’t end like this. This is not the end of me. Mark my words, I... " His words faded off as he did, until what remained was his crown, sitting obediently on the spot he just disappeared from.

There was silence before the clatter of a sword resounded in the room, yet no one was willing to speak.

Koan turned to address the crowd, but he sees Naomi getting up from the floor, Nancy holding onto her, their hairs matted to their foreheads with sweat, dirt and blood.

"We don’t know each other... but thank you. For everything." She politely told Cardin and he curtly nodded. Talia just rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Where are the others?"

"They’re still in the werewolves territory." Daniel suddenly replied and she turned to him.

Just as he got close, she stepped back and he frowned, like he was confused about something.

"Don’t... Just don’t come close to me." She whispered, turning away from him.

"You know what’s ridiculous right now? Acting like you don’t know what you did! How could you Daniel?" She lashed out at him.

"Him!" Naomi broke down again. "He pushed me off that cliff. Daniel tried to kill me."

"What?!" Daniel was enraged. "Why would you think I’d do something like that. I would never hurt you."

"That’s what you said.. after you found out about me. You said you’d kill me. And you did. You tried to."

A chuckle suddenly echoed in the room as Sakuarr floated on the air before landing next to Daniel.

"I think I should clear this up. I’m the one who pushed you down that cliff, honey." With that, she shifted before them, and Daniel almost fell back on seeing the exact replica of him. "I didn’t plan on killing you though, I just wanted to form a strategy so you’d think it was your loving mate and loathe him. Sorry about that." With that she shifted back to her true form and flashed a small smile.

Naomi was speechless as she stared at what just happened with red blotchy eyes.

Daniel glared at her.

"Why in Moon goddess’s sake would you even think I’d try to even kill you?"

"You really meant it." She fired at him.

"Are you just daft or really dunce. Would I really kill you?"

"Can we do this later." Brittany said before gesturing to the crowd behind them.

"Koan?" She was surprised.

"Me." Daniel said and she stared at him in shock.

Naomi dreaded what he had to say.

Daniel reached out and took Naomi’s hand, clasping it in his before bringing Nancy close, who had her hand entwined in Koan’s, thereby bringing the four of them before the crowd.

"Just like us." Nancy said and Daniel smiled at her before turning to the others.
