Chapter 210: Reject

"Hmm~" As Leon’s hands did whatever they wanted, he hummed in satisfaction. He felt something squishy down there, which turned not so squishy anymore.

"Leon-" Riven grunted. He was being taken advantage of!

He pushed his body off of Leon and got a glimpse of the scene below him. Leon’s shirt buttons seemed to be fully open, exposing his pec muscles and abs.

Leon’s face was flushed, but Riven was surprised that there was blood left to dye his face red when he could clearly feel something poking down there. This man was horny!

"Why are you fighting me on this?" Leon asked softly.

His voice had shifted—gone was the commanding prince, the spoiled royal. What remained was something quieter, more vulnerable. The rawness in his tone made Riven hesitate. Before he could find the right words, Leon’s fingers reached for his face.

With slow, almost playful intent, Leon pressed his thumb to Riven’s lips. His touch was warm, light, but firm enough to keep Riven from speaking. He pinched gently, tugging at the lower lip like he was testing something. Teasing. Holding Riven in place with his gentle actions.

Riven tried to speak, to explain that this wasn’t right—Leon wasn’t sober, his thoughts weren’t clear—but the words couldn’t form with Leon’s thumb still there, brushing slowly across his mouth.

Then, without warning, Leon leaned in and kissed him.

It wasn’t fierce like before. This kiss was slower, unhurried. His lips moved like he was savouring the taste, hurrying would only ruin things.

He felt Leon’s fingers moving again, but this time it wasn’t playful. With a careful hand, Leon slipped down to unfasten the rest of Riven’s shirt. Each button came undone at a patient pace, and though his touch was steady, there was a certain reverence in it—like Leon was handling something fragile.

Riven’s breath caught in his throat. He should stop this. He should stop this. Leon was drugged, he couldn’t do this to him! He is not in his right mind.

Leon pulled back slightly, their foreheads pressing together as they both tried to catch their breath. His thumb brushed across Riven’s cheek.

"I don’t want to be alone tonight," he whispered, like it was a confession he barely allowed himself to say. "Not like before. Not again."

Riven swallowed hard. He looked into Leon’s eyes—dark, glassy, but sincere. There was no cruelty there. No entitlement. Just a young man trying to understand what he was feeling.

"...You’re not alone," Riven said softly.

Leon gave a tired smile. "Good. Then stay."

Riven knew a little about his issues. He hated that he was alone, his family members had long since cut ties with him. They did not speak to him nor look at him, but what he didn’t know until recently was that they still protected him.

Riven nodded, just once. His arms slowly came up to wrap around Leon’s back, steadying him, grounding them both.

It could have been a sweet moment. Peaceful, even.

But Leon was a royal, through and through—and royalty never missed an opportunity to take what they wanted.

Before Riven could fully relax, Leon’s expression shifted. The tired smile curved into something far more mischievous—almost devilish. His fingers suddenly tightened around Riven’s shoulders as he smirked down at him.

In one swift movement, Leon pushed forward with a surprising amount of strength for someone who’d been drunk and swaying on his feet just moments ago. Riven let out a startled sound as he fell onto his back with a soft thud against the bed.

Leon was immediately on top of him, straddling him with all the smugness of someone who believed they’d just won a game.

"You said you’d stay," Leon purred, lowering his face closer. His breath was warm, his gaze locked onto Riven’s lips. "So don’t go back on your word now." His blond hair, which was tied neatly, had come undone, the ends tickling Riven’s face.

Leon leaned in, lips just about to brush against Riven’s again.

That was when Riven placed his hand firmly between their faces.

Leon blinked, his nose squishing slightly against Riven’s palm.

Riven raised an unimpressed brow. "Alright, that’s enough."

Leon frowned, pressing more of his weight forward like that would change Riven’s mind. "You’re rejecting this king?"

Riven rolled his eyes with a dramatic sigh. "I’m rejecting your drunken antics, not you, Your Majesty."

Leon pouted. He looked like a child being denied dessert. "You said you’d stay," he repeated, "And I am your king. I feel uncomfortable, it’s your duty to help me."

Riven huffed, "You are A king, not MY king." This lion had been drugged with an aphrodisiac, he did not believe that Leon was a lightweight.

Seraphina probably had intended it for him, but unfortunately, Leon drank it. The amount of self-control he was exercising was insane, he was forced to say no to a hot man pouncing on him just because of morals. Damn it.

"Nooooo!" Leon did not like what Riven said. His frown grew deeper before he leaned in to kiss Riven again. He successfully captured his lips, but he was pushed away again. Leon felt like he was going to cry. He felt urges, urges that made him crave pleasure, but nothing was going his way. He hated that he was not strong enough to fight Riven.

How was this half-wolf so strong?!

"I am staying," Riven said dryly. "But not for whatever you’ve got running through your hazy little royal brain."

Leon didn’t back down. Instead, he tried to wiggle closer again, but Riven had had enough.

With a heavy sigh, Riven braced himself and used his full strength to push Leon off him. The King yelped in surprise, flopping back onto the mattress with his hair a mess and his robes opening to reveal his lower half, mainly his fancy royal underpants.

Riven wanted to laugh, but he did not want to set off Leon further.

"I told you to- Hey!" Leon started, but Riven was already on the move.
