Chapter 209: No!

Riven was just about to grab a cool towel when a hand shot out and wrapped around his wrist with surprising strength.

He froze.

Leon’s grip was firm—too firm for someone who’d been whining about melting just moments ago. Riven turned, startled, but before he could say anything, Leon gave a sharp tug.

Riven stumbled forward, completely unprepared, and ended up landing chest-first onto the prince sprawled on the bed. His hands barely caught the edge of the mattress, stopping him from completely crushing Leon, but it was close.

"Leon—" he started, flustered, trying to push up and away. But Leon didn’t give him the chance.

Without a word, without a warning, Leon reached up, cupped the back of Riven’s neck, and pulled him down.

And then he kissed him.

Hard.

Riven’s mind blanked. For a second, he didn’t even know where he was. The heat from Leon’s mouth, the desperation in the way his lips moved—it short-circuited everything. There was nothing delicate or careful about it. It was raw and hungry, like Leon had been holding himself back for far too long and finally broke through whatever wall had kept him restrained.

His tongue kept trying to barge in, trying to taste him. And Riven, he could taste the wine Leon drank on his behalf, the thing that started it all. He tried to move back, and get off of Leon.

Riven tried to think and be rational. Tried to move. But Leon’s other arm had wrapped around his waist, locking him in place, pulling him even closer. Their bodies pressed together—Leon’s warmth soaking through his clothes, his heart pounding fast enough for Riven to feel it.

It was wrong, right? Riven should’ve pulled away. But he could not. Well, Leon held him tight and in place. And he was not so sure that if he could break free, he would’ve.

He leaned in.

He kissed back.

Their mouths moved in sync now—messy, breathless, deep. Leon’s fingers tangled in his hair, the way the lion sighed into the kiss like it was the only thing anchoring him to the world.

He could not hold himself back though, just the kiss was not enough. His hot tongue moved across Riven’s lips before he started planting wet kisses starting from Riven’s jaw to the base of his neck.

It was ticklish, it made Riven squirm and pull back.

Leon finally let him pull back, he was breathing hard. His eyes were hazy, unfocused, pupils blown wide. Riven’s chest rose and fell rapidly, his hands still braced on either side of Leon, and every nerve in his body was tingly.

Then Leon, barely above a whisper, said, "Don’t leave."

Riven stared at him, heart pounding in his throat.

Leon’s fingers fumbled with Riven’s shirt buttons, he was struggling and clearly not in his right mind.

There was a mix of heat and desperation in his movements, like he couldn’t stand the distance between them a moment longer.

But just as Leon managed to undo the first button, Riven caught his hand.

"Hey," Riven said gently, his voice calm but firm.

Leon blinked, clearly confused, like he couldn’t understand why someone would stop him. His brows scrunched together, his lips parted in a small, almost pouty frown.

"How dare you..." Leon muttered, sulking like a spoiled prince being denied his favorite toy. "Do you know who I am?"

Riven snorted softly despite the tension in his chest. "Yeah. You’re the idiot I dragged away from his own ball, who’s about to regret everything in the morning."

Leon ignored him. Or maybe he just didn’t care. His hand slipped from Riven’s grip and reached for him again, but Riven gently pushed it back.

"Leon," Riven said seriously now, leaning in close so their foreheads nearly touched, "you’re not in your right mind."

Leon didn’t respond with words this time. He just tugged hard on Riven’s waist again, hugging him close, and nuzzling his face in the nook of Riven’s neck.

His arms locked around him tightly—too tightly for comfort, like if he let go, something inside him would break.

Riven froze, startled by the sudden shift.

Leon wasn’t trying to seduce him anymore.

He was holding on like he was afraid of being alone.

"I’m not... Gonna let you go," Leon mumbled, voice muffled against Riven’s skin. "Not tonight."

Riven slowly brought his arms up and rested them on Leon’s back. He didn’t hug him tightly, just held him enough to show that he wasn’t pulling away—not completely.

"You’re burning up," Riven murmured, brushing his fingers through Leon’s damp hair. "You probably don’t even know what you’re saying."

Leon mumbled something again, none of it made sense. But then he started to lick and nip at Riven’s neck that was becoming too much for him to bear. He was ever horny and he could barely hold back when Leon was acting like this.

"Do you want me to bring you a woman?" Riven finally asked with much difficulty. Leon was not in terms with his gayness yet, its still buried deep within him. And he did not intend to force anyone.

Leon stiffened like he’d just been slapped. For a second, he didn’t say anything. Then, like a switch flipped, he growled against Riven’s neck and bit—hard.

Riven sucked in a sharp breath, flinching at the sting. "Hey—!"

"No way," Leon muttered, voice rough and trembling, half anger and half something else. "I don’t need any woman... Coming in and taking the throne away from me. No. No way."

Riven blinked, confused, caught off guard by the bitterness in Leon’s tone. That... Wasn’t exactly the answer he expected.

Riven narrowed his eyes. He was half-tempted to bite back out of sheer spite, but held himself back, clearly this man was not in his right mind.

Riven did not notice Leon’s hand slithering down his body, touching every muscle he could feel then he reached Riven’s abdomen, he paused for a moment before going further down.

"Hey!"
