Chapter 60: Demonstration

Feng exhaled, his gaze fixed ahead. Ting Li had already recovered and stood back up, yet fear was evident in his eyes.

He couldn’t believe that a mere cultivator at the sixth level of Qi Condensation had managed to take on five opponents and kill two in mere moments.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you helping Chen Li? Are you from some major clan outside of Silverpine City?" Ting Li tried to steady himself, forcing a calm facade even as a suffocating pressure began to radiate from him.

Despite how dominant Feng appeared, the truth was that luck and decisiveness had played a significant role in the battle.

If Feng had been discovered before ambushing Kuan Yu, the man wouldn’t have died so easily.

If Yu Zhen hadn’t been reckless enough to strike first, his death would have taken longer—long enough to leave Feng with at least some injuries.

"I’m just here to repay a debt. Old Chen has treated me well, so my morality dictates that I return the favor," Feng said calmly, locking eyes with Ting Li.

His words were simple, yet they carried a weight that made Ting Li’s expression shift.

"How much did that old bastard pay you? We’ll pay twice—no, three times whatever they offered!"

Ting Li shouted. Clearly, he didn’t believe someone who could kill so easily would have values, assuming money was the only reason Feng was protecting Chen Li.

Huang Bei, locked in battle with Yi Bei, overheard the offer and panicked.

Fearing Feng might accept, he shouted, "Hey, Lin Feng! Don’t listen to him! Whatever they offer, we’ll pay twice—no, five times as much!"

And yet, as Feng turned his gaze to the battle between Huang Bei and Yi Bei, his eyes suddenly narrowed in shock.

Despite both being at the eighth level of Qi Condensation, Huang Bei was clearly being pushed back.

Dark green blotches covered his body, spreading like an infection, sapping his strength with every passing moment.

Yi Bei, on the other hand, looked completely different from when Feng had first seen him.

His skin had turned a sickly green, his bulging eyes gleamed unnaturally, and green circular marks dotted his body.

His hands and feet were now webbed, resembling some twisted fusion of man and frog—a half-human, half-monster abomination.

"Hey, Huang Bei! Do you really think you have the luxury of being distracted while fighting me?" Yi Bei sneered, his voice dripping with malice.

He didn’t seem concerned about the battle in the slightest, even turning his gaze toward Feng as he spoke.

"Hey, kid. You’re clearly an outsider in all this. If you back off like a good boy, we’ll let bygones be bygones and let you leave alive. But if you don’t..." Yi Bei’s eyes suddenly gleamed with murderous intent.

"I’ll make sure there won’t even be a body left to bury when I’m done with you!"

Yet before he could finish speaking, a massive boulder came hurtling toward him, nearly smashing into him before he barely managed to dodge.

"You bastard! You think you can look down on me?" Huang Bei roared, dashing forward in a fury.

As Feng took in the scene, he turned back to Ting Li, who was grinning from ear to ear.

He clearly believed that after witnessing Yi Bei’s strength, Feng would finally realize the foolishness of his actions and surrender.

"So, what do you think? Wouldn’t it be better for both of us if you just—"

Before he could finish, a powerful suppressive force erupted from Feng’s body as his Alpha Wolf’s Domain surged in intensity.

Silver streaks ran through his hair, his eyes turned a piercing gray, brimming with murderous intent, and his claws sharpened.

The tattoo representing his Heaven’s Pact spread across his forearms as darksilver spiritual energy pulsed from his body.

He spoke only one word.

"DIE!"

Before they could even process Feng’s transformation, he surged forward—not toward Ting Li, but another bandit frozen in fear.

The man barely had time to react before Feng was upon him, his claws barreling toward his chest with terrifying speed.

With terror gleaming in his eyes, the bandit instinctively tried to defend himself.

Letting out a desperate grunt, he summoned twin daggers, their blades pulsing with dark spiritual energy.

Panic fueled his movements as he slashed wildly, sending dozens of bladelights streaking toward Feng in a chaotic flurry.

Feng felt the sting as the razor-sharp bladelights tore through the air, some slicing into his skin.

Thin red lines appeared across his arms and torso, blood beginning to trickle down. But he didn’t flinch.

He didn’t need to.

His body—tempered through his Ruler’s Physique—was far too strong for such shallow cuts to matter. Wounds like these would heal in moments.

His lips curled into a cold smirk.

Then, he advanced.

Darksilver energy surged into his claws, crackling with power. With a single swing, he slashed forward, unleashing a massive energy wave shaped like a claw mark. ’

It tore through the air with a howling shriek, as it barreled toward the bandit.

The man’s face twisted in horror.

He had expected Feng to dodge.

He had expected his attacks to at least slow him down.

Instead, Feng had walked straight through them like an unstoppable force.

There was no time to escape.

"NOOO!!!"

The energy claw ripped into his chest.

Flesh split apart.

Blood sprayed in an arc, painting the ground crimson.

The bandit staggered back, his hands trembling as he reached for the gaping wound.

He was still alive—but barely.

Feng didn’t stop.

Before the man could even collapse, Feng pressed forward, his muscles tensing as he drove a devastating fist into his chest.

BOOM!

The impact rang out like a thunderclap.

Contrary to what one might expect, Feng’s fists carried the same lethal sharpness as his claws.

His strike didn’t just send the bandit flying—it pierced through him entirely.

A gaping hole was left in his torso, his body convulsing before he crumpled lifelessly to the ground.

Feng exhaled, lowering his fist, his gray eyes cold and unshaken.

"Three."
