The moment the words "It’s a date then," left Adam’s mouth, Priscilla froze.

Her dainty hand, mid-gesture, paused near her chin.

As her crimson eyes blinked once. Then twice. A delicate flush rose to her cheeks, sharp against her pale, doll-like complexion.

"I—I beg your pardon?"

She stammered, voice cracking like thin porcelain under heavy pressure.

"A date?!"

Adam tilted his head with a mischievous smile, golden eyes gleaming with amusement beneath his lashes.

And to gaslight her into accepting his offer.

"I mean we can hold hands too, like I don’t feel any Astrum particles leaving my reserve. I know vampires at least vampires of the noble status and beyond can sense Astrum, even better if close enough or in direct contact with something that has it... So um... He offered her his hand, small, soft, unassuming.

From a third party point of view it was just a boy’s hand. And yet...

Priscilla hesitated for a moment.

"...You want to hold hands?"

Priscilla asked, eye twitching as she stared at the offered gesture like it might bite her.

Or rather her pride to succumb to things like this was being challenged.

And yet she inwardly surrender, as she blushed yet again as if thinking it over.

Adam knowing Priscilla prides won’t shake so easily, blinked innocently, as he quickly pitched in saying.

"Come on big sis... This is um for the greater cause you know, for the science of magic right... These new powers of mines does need to be studied carefully don’t you think?"

Priscilla being smarter was already seeing what he was doing as clear as day, but it was a good excuse, as such he went along with it as she extended her hand towards him nervously while saying, and not meeting his gaze.

"Yeah... for once in your life student of mine you are making sense. This is um for the greater cause, for the science of magic yeah...yeahhh."

Priscilla said as she gave in.

Adam nodded sagely, taking her hand without hesitation. Hers hand was cold and soft, but they felt nice to him.

Minerva and Rakasha watched from the suite’s sitting area, they were both grinning from the side as they whisper to each other.

"Ahhh how cute."

Rakasha said softly.

"Well, I be damned, he used her own damn pride against her... Hahaha. No way I’m lettin her live this one down."

"They grow up so fast, although are human usually this charismatic."

"Adam’s just a horny lil brat... so nah, he’s the damn exception, ya feel me? But I’m throwin down 500 chrome she ain’t gonna fold easy."

"...Double it down, I say little bro will slowly break in that wall she has put up."

"That lil brat is still a brat, no matter what... but hell, you kinda wanna see it anyway. Aight, bet’s on. Don’t see him pullin that off in one date though. Still, Priscilla’s Priscilla, no changin that, ya know?"

Rakasha snorted, arms folded, one brow raised.

"I can sense emotions, I know when a bitch will break at the mere sight, her walls are good but that boy hmmm how do I say this. I has a way with the girls that is almost too uncanny to be mere coincidence...like he knows how to get into darkest of roses."

Said Rakasha, causing Minerva to speak up.

"I’m shit with all that romance crap, but Prisy’s real no-nonsense when it comes to humans. Even if we’re all kinda molding Adam how we want, if she starts gettin all girly round him, I’m gonna have to watch my back, cause if that brat cracks her walls, shit’s gonna get wild."

At these words Raksha usual gentle and motherly but clutsy nature turned into one of pure unhinged debauchery as she licks her lips with anticipation and said.

"...Ohhh I am going to enjoy this."

That aside though Adam quickly got dressed, this time in a rather formal attire he got from Rakasha.

At this moment Adam wore a black oversized hoodie that look like it was made for someone slightly older.

The hoodie had a simple skull design on it’s front, that shimmered faintly in the light, paired with sleek, with a long white joggers and white and black high-top sneakers that was expensive given the logo "GG" logos on it.

His long black hair was partially tied back with a simple silver crescent clasp, just enough to reveal the sharp glint of his golden eyes. The outfit was simple, modern, and effortlessly cool looking. And it was something that did not look out of place in the human world.

Priscilla on the other hand did not care, and remained in her usual red dress. But using one of her lore abilities her skin did not look pale to those that saw her, it was subjective illusion that affects who she wants it to affect.

But Adam soon heard Priscilla voice speaking from the other side as he got ready in the grand wardrobe of the royal suit.

"Have you completed your tedious dressing ritual? The Human World sun may not incinerate me as it once did, but its presence still saps my strength. A most intolerable nuisance, I assure you."

"At least it’s not killing you big sis."

Adam replied as he tied his laces.

"Tch. As if I did let something as dull as the sun kill me. Honestly, have some respect for your elders, brat."

"Hehehe... I love you too big sis."

Adam replied with a smile on his face.

"Idiot."

Priscilla whispered, and Adam heard as he shot back with.

"What was that, I did not hear you properly."

"Must I repeat myself? Hurry up already! Honestly... what could you possibly be doing in there? Don’t tell me you’re trying to make me wait on purpose."

She said with a slightly annoyed but mostly amused expression.

Adam on the other hand, sensing her emotions said to himself.

’Hmm she is enjoying our banter more than me ironically... Poor girl must have been starve of attention for eons... Well nothing I can’t fix of course. What kind of Harem seeking protagonist would I be otherwise.’

Adam said with the outmost confidence in himself. He was confident he could make Priscilla fall for him, with enough time.

Either way he was done getting ready now.

"Ok big sis, I am ready now... Let’s go on our date."
