As both of them were natural S-Class Espers, Ki Gayoon was pretty sure Ryu Sungbin also heard Moon Noa.

But the two of them just ignored the annoying S-Class Guide.

Gayoon was forced to stop walking, and then he turned to Ryu Sungbin with a frown. "Your taste in men is weird."

Ryu Sungbin scoffed. "I really don’t want to hear that from you when Noh Yuno is weirder than Moon Noa."

"Oho? I was talking about Bambi and not the sly fox when I said that. Why did you mention Moon Noa and not your current Guide?"

Ryu Sungbin looked confused at first, and then he glared at Gayoon. "Shut up."

Gayoon just shrugged, thinking how boring Ryu Sungbin’s response was.

If it was Noh Yuno, he would have delivered a better comeback.

"You two walk very fast as if you’re being chased by dungeon monsters," Moon Noa said when he caught up to them. "Which is weird because Binbin and Yoonyoon are the type to chase dungeon monsters and not the other way around."

"You’re not alone this time, huh?" Gayoon commented, and then his gaze went past Moon Noa. "Did you bring your dog for a walk today?"

Leehan, the fake A-Class Esper, grinned and raised his hands— playfully "clawing" at something invisible in the air. "Arf, arf!"

"TEAM LEADER Bambi, do you know if Guide Noh Yuno-ssi is telling the truth?"

Yuno knew that Bambi was the ace of the National Guide Bureau, but he didn’t know that he was this important that the Chief herself was asking for his opinion.

I mean, the Chief has the highest authority in the Bureau.

"Guide Noh Yuno-ssi is the first E-Class Guide I’ve met in person. And there is barely any information regarding their class," Bambi said. "If we want to know whether Guide Noh Yuno is bluffing or not, we have no choice but to do what he suggested."

"Alright," Chief Kim Munhee said while nodding. "It’s a good thing that we summoned all the Top 5 Espers here then."

Yuno didn’t want to admit it, but he was relieved to hear that.

Ryu Sungbin was obviously about to attack Ki Gayoon.

But Moon Noa literally broke the two apart.

"No fighting," Moon Noa said, and then he walked towards Yuno. "Yuyu, are you okay?"

"For now, yes," Yuno said before hesitantly adding: "Sajangnim, I’m sorry. I used my ability as an E-Class Guide to punish Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi and help Esper Lee Sarang-ssi."

It might have sounded like a quick summary of what happened.

But to Yuno, it was him reporting to his boss that he revealed his abilities as an E-Class Guide.

And Sajangnim would know how to get out of this mess.

Well, hopefully.

"You did well, Yuyu," Moon Noa said while gently patting Yuno’s head. "I’ll take care of the rest."

"I’m sorry to say this, but I’m not letting Guide Noh Yuno-ssi walk out of this building free until this matter is resolved," Chief Kim Munhee said. "First of all, we can discard the ’attempted murder’ accusation now. However, Guide Noh Yuno-ssi should fix whatever you broke in Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi for him to lose his Guiding abilities."

Tsk.

I really don’t want to, but I have to comply if I don’t want them to treat me like a threat.

"Yes, Chief Kim," Yuno said obediently. "As long as Guide Mo Hanjin-ssi promises that he won’t neglect Esper Lee Sarang-ssi again, then I’ll give him back his abilities."

Chief Kim Munhee raised an eyebrow. "You talk as if you’re in the position to make demands, Guide Noh Yuno-ssi."

Yuno hid behind Moon Noa. "I’m confident in my shield—"

"Why the fuck are you hiding behind the sly fox when I’m here?" Ki Gayoon asked angrily, grabbing Yuno by the arm. And then he pulled Yuno to his side. His actions were a bit rough, but at least the way he grabbed Yuno abruptly didn’t hurt. "Stick to me, you little troublemaker."

Tsk.

"Stop calling me ’little’ in front of everyone, Ahjuhyung," Yuno whispered. "I also have pride as a man, you know?"

Ki Gayoon smirked at him. "You’re upset again, pipsqueak?"

This old bastard...

"Ahem," Moon Noa said, clearing his throat loudly. "I’m happy to see Yuyu and Yoonyoon getting along well, but let’s stay focused on the issue, okay?"

Yuno pulled his arm away from Ki Gayoon— who thankfully let him go without a fuss— and nodded. "Sajangnim, actually, I offered to take a compatibility test for all the members of the current Top 5."

Aka the naturally awakened S-Class Espers of Korea.

Moon Noa nodded in understanding.

After all, Sajangnim probably realized that I used my "can-guide-all-natural-S-Class-Espers" card.

However, there was one person who didn’t get the memo.

"You’re going to take a matching test with those bastards?" Ki Gayoon asked, a knot on his forehead appearing. "Why?"

"Gayoon Hyung, I’m an E-Class Guide," Yuno said, avoiding Ki Gayoon’s gaze. He didn’t know why he felt guilty as if he was caught cheating. "I am actually compatible with all naturally awakened S-Class Espers."

Ki Gayoon was actually pissed and not nervous, but he didn’t want to start a conversation with Bambi.

Hence, he just ignored the S-Class Guide.

It wasn’t hard to do because he was focused on watching Noh Yuno take the compatibility test with Ryu Sungbin, Matthew, Jin Sooin, and Lee Sarang (who just woke up, feeling refreshed, apparently).

Gayoon was kicked out of the room because he had already taken the same test with Noh Yuno. So, he had no choice but to stay in the observation room and watch what was happening through the big monitor sliced into several screens.

He was sitting on a big and comfortable sofa, and it would have been an okay experience had Bambi not taken the space next to him.

Tsk.

"If Guide Noh Yuno-ssi turns out to be compatible with the other naturally awakened S-Class Espers, you’ll be forced to share him with them, Gayoon Hyung," Bambi said, obviously delighted while pissing off Gayoon. "Hyung hasn’t forgotten that the term "exclusive" in the awakened world doesn’t mean you have a complete monopoly over Guide Noh Yuno-ssi, right?"

Haaah.

Gayoon wondered why he should be listening to Bambi’s bullshit.

At least, Noh Yuno is fun to talk to even if that punk is often rude and shameless.
