KI GAYOON, who was busy checking his Inventory to see what he could add to his slush fund, suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

"But why doesn’t he Guide Esper Lee Sarang if he can do it right away? Espers get terrible headaches because of their Madness," Yuno said sternly. It was unlikely of him to be this emotional. But seeing an Esper cry in front of him broke something inside of him. "As Guides, it’s our duty to relieve our Espers of their pain and suffering. Most Espers don’t deserve it, yes, but we still have duties to fulfill."

Yuno had already said that much, but Mo Hanjin still didn’t stop playing.

Lord, please give me more patience.

Unfortunately, no god answered his prayer.

Hence, Yuno failed to hold back his anger— before he knew it, he had already grabbed Mo Hanjin’s phone and smashed it to the floor.

Yuno clenched his hands tight. "Why? Give me a proper explanation. Why you can’t guide Esper Lee Sarang-ssi when you’re just playing a game on your phone?"

"You should know why," Mo Hanjin said in a mocking tone. "Noh Yuno, aren’t you the one advocating that Espers need Guides more than the Guides need Espers?"

"What?"

"I’m doing this as a punishment to Lee Sarang after she didn’t do as I asked," Mo Hanjin said, smirking. He then pushed Yuno before letting go of his collar. "So, mind your own business, brat."

It seemed like everyone in the office, except for Yuno, already knew how Mo Hanjin treated Lee Sarang.

They’re used to it now.

What a horrible working environment.

"It’s true that I believe Espers need Guides more than Guides need Espers. You can also say that I support Guides more than I do Espers. But that doesn’t mean I support Guides abusing their Espers," Yuno said calmly, unclenching his hands. "What I want is for Guides and Espers to be equals— to have a relationship where they respect each other."

"Whatever. I don’t care about your grand advocacy," Mo Hanjin said, putting back his headphones on. "Leave me alone— argh!"

A collective gasp echoed in the office when Yuno grabbed Mo Hanjin by the throat.

Fuck it, I’m losing control.

Yuno, even without seeing his reflection, could tell that his eyes had turned glowing red by now.

This happens when my true ability as an E-Class Guide comes out.

He should stop it from coming out, but he couldn’t.

"What the fuck?" Mo Hanjin complained while trying to remove Yuno’s hand from his throat with both hands, but to no avail. "You’re just a weak Guide a moment ago. How are you as strong as an Esper now?"

"If you’re not going to use your power to guide your Esper properly in the name of bullying, then you don’t deserve to be a Guide," Yuno said in a low voice, his Mana flowing from his hand and traveling to Mo Hanjin’s body. "I’ll help you retire early then."

Yuno’s Mana then went straight to Mo Hanjin’s heart— knocking out the lazy bastard on the spot.

"Guide Noh Yuno-ssi!"

Fuck, I’ve done it now.

FIRST, Gayoon got a text from Bambi letting him know that it was him.

How does this pervert always know my new number?
