"PLEASE HELP yourself, everyone," Yuno said after setting up a table where he made a small tower from the yellow boxes of the HoneyMoon Self-defense Kit that he brought for his colleagues. "This is my way of apologizing for the trouble I caused last week."

Yes, the apology gift he prepared for his colleagues was HoneyMoon Self-defense Kits.

The reaction that he got from the high-class Guides around him was pretty lukewarm.

As expected.

Bambi just gave Yuno and the self-defense kits a quick once-over before going back to the documents in his hands.

Mo Hanjin didn’t even look in Yuno’s direction because he was busy playing a game on his computer, making him look busy in his workstation even though he was just slacking off. But Mo Hanjin scoffed when he saw the self-defense kits earlier.

Rebecca just laughed while painting her nails in her workstation.

The only person who gave Yuno a proper response was the youngest in the room.

Yes, there are only five of us in this room because Guide Choi Kangmin had already left after Esper Yang Youngjae lost to Ki Gayoon.

"I’ll take one, Hyung," Kim Jaeha said cheerfully while picking up one yellow box, and then he even walked Yuno to his workstation. The kid almost burst out laughing again. "I know I helped Hyung prepare all of this, uhm, merchandise. But I still find them horrifyingly funny."

’Horrifyingly funny.’

I guess those are the best words to describe the "merch" that I made.

Yuno made a thick and warm blanket, a fluffy pillow, posters hanging on the walls of his workstation, and photocards. He also had a long and big mouse pad spread on his table.

All of the "merchandise" mentioned had Ki Gayoon’s BALD photos on them.

Yes, I photoshopped Ahjuhyung’s photo and made him bald.

Yuno couldn’t wait for Ki Gayoon’s reaction.

Baekho-ssi and the gangster-Espers who delivered my working station here saw the "merchandise" I made with Ahjuhyung’s bald photos. I’m sure Baekho-ssi would report it to Ahjuhyung later.

The other Guides also saw Ki Gayoon’s bald photos plastered on Yuno’s stuff, but they all pretended they didn’t see anything.

"Hyung, will you be alright?" Kim Jaeha asked worriedly. "What if Esper Ki Gayoon-nim gets mad?"

"So what?" Yuno said nonchalantly. "Ahjuhyung made me mad, so he should have expected something like this from me. He knows how petty I could get when I’m pissed."

"You’re amazing, Hyung. Esper Ki Gayoon-nim is scary, but you’re not afraid of him."

Kim Jaeha’s Esper is that scumbag Esper Matthew.

"It’s true that Ahjuhyung is scary, but why do I need to be afraid of him?" Yuno asked bluntly. He raised his voice a little this time. "An Esper needs a Guide more than a Guide needs an Esper."

The temperature in the room suddenly dropped.

It was a minute before their lunch break when the scariest Esper in Korea arrived at their office.

Jaeha gulped nervously when Esper Ki Gayoon’s leaking Mana made the air in the room heavy.

Even Guide Bambi-ssi, an S-Class Guide, took a deep breath.

If Guides lower than A-Class were here, they would have fainted already...

"Noh Yuno, you rusty little shit."

Jaeha winced when Esper Ki Gayoon-nim cursed at his Yuno Hyung.

"Ahjuhyung, your vocabulary is still as limited as ever."

Jaeha covered his mouth when his Yuno Hyung talked back to the scary Esper boldly.

Yuno Hyung, I don’t think it’s a good idea to talk back to an Esper who just came out of a dungeon! Espers who just cleared a dungeon, especially on their own, are usually more sensitive and irritable than usual!

"Did you just photoshop my photo to make me look bald then plastered it on your stuff, you punk?!"

Oh, no.

Jaeha was nervous and scared for his Yuno Hyung when Esper Ki Gayoon-nim found out about the "merchandise" with his bald photos on the items.

Yuno Hyung, don’t worry— I’ll call the police if the situation gets dangerous!

By now, it wasn’t only Jaeha who was watching the scene nervously.

Team Leader Bambi, Mo Hanjin-ssi, and Rebecca Noona were also watching Esper Ki Gayoon-nim and Yuno Hyung discreetly.

All of them looked anxious at the moment.

It always makes a Guide nervous when an Esper is aggravated.

"How dare you use my photos like that without my permission, you little rusty shit?!"

Yuno Hyung suddenly stood up and stared back at Esper Ki Gayoon-nim fearlessly. "It’s funny to hear Ahjuhyung talk about consent after what you did to my newly renovated house without my permission."

Yuno Hyung didn’t raise his voice, but Esper Ki Gayoon flinched.

"Is that why you haven’t come home these past few days?" Esper Ki Gayoon-nim confronted Yuno Hyung. "Just because of that?"

"Just because of that?" Yuno Hyung asked in disbelief, obviously offended. "Are you invalidating my feelings, Ahjuhyung?"

"I’ll fix your damned house again, so don’t worry about that."

"That’s not what I want to hear from you, Ahjuhyung. I’m going to stay upset until you give me the explanation I deserve. So, tell me now. Why did you destroy my house again?"

"Come home first and we’ll talk."

"No, I refuse," Yuno Hyung said stubbornly. "Why would I go back to your house when we’re fighting?"

"I don’t care if you pick a fight with me— but if you’re going to be upset with me, then do it while staying by my side," Esper Ki Gayoon-nim said in a desperate voice. "You’re not allowed to stay out of my sight, Noh Yuno."

Hmm?

Jaeha’s face turned red, suddenly feeling second-hand embarrassment.

All of a sudden, Yuno Hyung and Esper Ki Gayoon-nim look like a bickering old married couple...
