"You can say that your siblings’ sacrifice was worth it, Yihun-ah," ’Father,’ in Kwon Jungho’s body, said with a smile. "If you stayed with us, then I would have taught you how to cheat death. After all, you are my masterpiece."

For the first time in Yuno’s life, he regretted not taking his previous training seriously.

I believe that a Guide should remain a Guide for balance. But if I had learned how to fight like an Esper before, then I would have killed this disgusting person already.

To be fair, it was true that Yuno was shocked after realizing that he liked Ki Gayoon’s personality more than his face and body.

"My eyes and ears almost rot while watching you harass a fellow Guide," Moon Noa said. He had a smile on his pretty face, but his eyes and voice were both cold. "I don’t care who you are, but stay away from that kid."

Yuno immediately ran towards Moon Noa and his behind his boss’ back.

His sajangnim was usually goofy so he would often forget, but this man was the first S-Class Guide in the world.

Hence, he was blessed not only with the ability to guide— but the ability to fight, too.

Sajangnim rarely uses his attack skills, though. Apparently, he gets penalties if he uses his Mana to fight. The System claims it is to maintain balance, so that Guides won’t forget their roots and true purpose.

Technically, that meant the System was against Guides having the skills of Espers.

"Letting you retrieve your old memories is truly a double-edged sword. But I had no choice," Father said, sighing while shaking his head. "I need you since you’re the first dual-class in the world, Moon Noa."

The fuck?

Moon Noa was both a Guide and an Esper?

But should Yuno be surprised?

I know it was Sajangnim who killed Father in the past, but I don’t remember how he did it...

BEFORE KI Gayoon could snap from his disbelief upon encountering the person who should be dead already, ’Mother’ and Bambi had already started their escape plan...

"Hyung, I’m not giving up on you yet," Bambi said while his melted face had already turned into what seemed like a puddle of wax. "I’ll come back for you."

Gayoon only raised his middle finger in response.

When Mother and Bambi both melted completely, the puddle of wax they left behind completely vanished in an instant.

He felt like his skull was being split in two.

But before he could process everything, his phone— thankfully safe in his pocket— rang.

He pressed the answer button when he saw it was a call from Lee Sarang.

"Hi, Gayoon Oppa."

"Get straight to the point, Lee Sarang," Gayoon said while pinching the bridge of his nose. "Why did you call?"

"We think we already found where Yuno was taken to."

Finally, some fucking good news.
