Ki Gayoon didn’t hear a response, so he turned to his ’passenger princess.’

Noh Yuno was still asleep on the reclined passenger seat while snoring lightly.

He must be really tired.

Gayoon’s smile faded, and now he was pissed.

What did those Guide bastards make this punk do for him to pass out like this?

He would have cursed the Bureau had his phone not started ringing.

<"Suspicious, right? If it’s that easy to find a suitable Guide for a high-ranking Esper, then our Espers wouldn’t have lost their minds finding the right one.">

"It’s either one of those Guides is a fake, or both of them are frauds."

<"That’s why I’m grateful that you introduced Lucca-ssi to me. I mean, I’ve known him since he became popular as the ’Golden Angel.’ But I couldn’t find the perfect excuse to talk to him. After all, Bambam made sure the majority of the Guide Community hates me~">

Moon Noa just laughed.

"What can I do to make Noh Yuno feel better?" Gayoon asked. He didn’t want to admit this, but his voice really sounded worried. "Does he need medicine? Will a Mana potion help?"

<"Those things would have worked in the past, but now that Yuyu has an Esper that he regularly guides, medicines and Mana potions won’t work anymore.">

"Then what should I do for him?"

<"Just cover him with your Mana. Unlike regular Guides like me, E-Class Guides absorb Mana around them to "recharge." Since Yoonyoon is Yuyu’s Esper, he’ll recover faster if you let him absorb your Mana. Ah, it doesn’t have to be through physical intimacy. A light skinship would do.">

Gayoon was genuinely grateful to hear that.

After all, he wasn’t a sex maniac who would force his Guide to have sex with him when his Guide was obviously physically unwell.

Moon Noa laughed on the other end of the line.

And it was clear why the sly fox laughed.

Gayoon was really about to hang up when, suddenly, he remembered something that crossed his mind. "Is Noh Yuno’s old name Noh Yihun?"

Moon Noa’s voice when he talked again was cold and indifferent.

<"Where did you hear that from?">

Gayoon didn’t want to admit this, but hearing Moon Noa’s icy cold voice reminded him of the cruel Moon Noa that he met when he had just awakened.

This old bastard can be damn scary if he wants to.

"Ryu Sungbin told me."

<"Oh, right. Yuyu told me Binbin remembered his old name recently.">

Moon Noa’s annoyingly cheerful was back.

But it wasn’t the reason why Gayoon was suddenly pissed.

"I don’t like that Ryu Sungbin knows something about Noh Yuno that I don’t."

<"Aigoo. Stop being childish, Yoonyoon. How could you know something that happened in Yuyu’s past?">

That was the point.

I’m pissed that I didn’t know Noh Yuno earlier.

But Gayoon wasn’t ready for that conversation.

<"Anyways, just take care of Yuyu for now. He might get a high fever later. If that happens, stay with him and make him drink the medicine that I specifically made for him. He’d know what it is if you tell him to drink his medicine.">

Noh Yuno might end up having a fever?

I knew a princess like him wasn’t built to work hard.

"Alright, I get it," Gayoon said, sighing. "I’ll call you again if Noh Yuno’s condition doesn’t improve later."

WHEN Yuno woke up, he found himself in Ki Gayoon’s arms— being carried like the princess that he claimed to be.

Honestly, his position was comfortable.

However, it was embarrassing that Ki Gayoon’s men and house staff members were looking at him, so he pretended to be asleep.

I wonder what Gayoon Hyung’s people think of us?

"We’re already in my room," Ki Gayoon said. "You can stop pretending to be asleep now."

Yuno immediately opened his eyes, and then looked around.

They were, indeed, in Ki Gayoon’s bland but posh bedroom.

Tsk.

Why are my pictures and cardboard cut-out still here?

"I’m not going to put that dartboard and cardboard cut-out away, so stop glaring at them," Ki Gayoon said, and then he gently threw Yuno on the bed. "Sleep here. My room is more comfortable than yours."

Yuno was too tired to start a fight, so he just lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "Why would Hyung’s room be more comfortable than mine?"

"Because my Mana lingers in this room."

Oh, right.

Since Yuno exhausted his Mana, he needed a "refill."

For an E-Class Guide like him, there was no better "refill" than his Esper’s Mana.

"Alright. Let’s sleep together in your room until I recover, Hyung," Yuno said, pausing for a moment. "But are we really just going to sleep?"

Ki Gayoon smirked haughtily. "I’ll let you hold my hand."

He’s picking a fight again.

But, at least, this "fight" didn’t involve giving the other the silent treatment.

"Hyung, is there something else that you’re pissed about?" Yuno asked carefully. "Something that’s related to me?"

"I’m pissed that I didn’t meet you sooner, but that’s not your fault."

"Why would you be pissed about that? If we had met earlier, you couldn’t have handled me."

After all, Yuno was a rebel during his teenage years.

He probably exhausted all the energy he had during his younger years, hence he ended up as a lazy adult.

I played too much back then.

"You wouldn’t know that," Ki Gayoon said, scoffing. And then he sat next to him. "I was working with Ryu Sungbin earlier. He bragged about meeting you before I did."

Ah, right.

"Did Esper Ryu Sungbin-ssi tell you about my old name?"

"Noh Yihun."

"Yes, that was my old name," Yuno said, pausing for a moment. "It was my birth name, given to me by my birth parents who sold me to the Lab. That’s why I never liked that name. So, I didn’t think of telling you about it. In fact, I didn’t want to hear it again."

Ki Gayoon, realizing his mistake, flinched. "I’m sorry."

Pfft.

Hyung looks cute when he’s guilty.

"I didn’t say that to get an apology from you, Hyung. I’m just trying to say that I didn’t hide it from you on purpose," Yuno said. Since Ki Gayoon was being sincere with him at the moment, he decided to do the same. "Please scold Esper Ryu Sungbin-ssi for me if he mentions my old name again. I’m too scared to confront him."

"Alright, I’ll punch that bastard for you."

Pfft.

I wonder what Gayoon Hyung would do if I asked him to kill someone for me.

"Hyung, is there something else you want to tell me?" Yuno asked curiously. "Why are you working with Esper Ryu Sungbin-ssi? I’m sure it’s related to the serial killer, so please give me the tea."

Ki Gayoon fell silent for a moment. "Noh Yuno, can you please listen to me this once? If you put yourself in harm’s way again, I might really end up getting a heart attack because of you."
