Chapter 46: Super Power Base Blueprint
Chapter 46: Super Power Base Blueprint
Gabriel’s hand trembled as he reached for the golden door.
His walk was unsteady, and a stinging pain radiated from his ribs, but he pushed on because curiosity burned more than pain.
Behind those doors, after all, was treasure left behind by a level 399 existent.
"Be careful. Even though I’ve healed your outer wounds, it might take a while for you to fully recover," warned Lilly.
"Do you need help walking?" Sophie suggested.
"Yes, I can also be of help!" Alice, who appeared much more radiant, chimed in.
"Hehehehehe, it seems he’s the ladies’ guy," chuckled Khrome as he glanced at the duo.
Gabriel gave a faint smile and nodded at the two girls. "It’s fine, I can handle myself."
"You can barely walk," Sophie insisted, frowning, but he waved his hands dismissively.
Under the attentive gaze of everyone, he reached the door. Scarlet glanced at him from the corner of her eyes and said in a calm voice,
"I was waiting for you to wake up before proceeding through the door. It’s the least we could do for your significant contribution in this exploration."
"Thank you for waiting," Gabriel nodded, then gestured to the door. "Shall we proceed, then?"
Everyone had gathered around the door, all looking at the back of the vice leader with an expectant gleam shining in their eyes.
This was it! The reason they’d been traveling for days, battling golems and mutated ants. It was all for this moment.
Liam could barely contain the excitement bubbling within him, and his grin was so wide that it seemed as if his face was about to split in two.
With a calm and unhurried movement, Scarlet slowly pushed the door, and a flood of light temporarily blinded everyone.
Gabriel shielded his eyes with his arms as he slowly adjusted to the brightness. A few seconds later, the flood of light subsided.
What appeared before them was a pristine room that seemed as if it had not been touched for hundreds of years.
There were several racks and wooden chests neatly rearranged inside, along with some treasures casually lying on the ground.
Gabriel glanced further ahead to the extreme end of the large room where an elevated platform held a glass coffin.
Instinctively, he could tell that it contained the remains of the great King Alveron II.
At that moment, from the corner of his eye, he noticed that Sophie, Alice, Khrome, Lilly, Liam, Cassie, the two mages, and even Scarlet were bowing their heads to the casket.
Gabriel quickly did the same, even though he didn’t really feel much respect for the king.
History was written by the victors. Who knows if this king was truly righteous or an evil tyrant?
’Even if he was... I bet the historians tried to glorify him and portray him in the best light they could.’
After some time, one after the other, everyone raised their heads. Scarlet glanced at Gabriel and said, "Alright, since you were the one who defeated the Queen, you’re allowed to choose two treasures first."
No one objected.
Without saying a word, Gabriel stepped forward, his feet thudding softly against the ground as he moved towards the racks filled with scrolls.
His gaze scanned the racks. There were scrolls of all lengths.
"Which should I choose?" Gabriel felt a dilemma. Trusting his instincts, his hand moved towards the biggest scroll.
As soon as he did, a cluster of information appeared in his mind.

"..." Gabriel’s pupils dilated, his fingers trembled.
A blueprint?!
A fcking* Super Power Base blueprint?!
What kind of insane treasure was this?!
His mind reeled at the possibilities.
In his past life, strongholds were vital for survival.
But most were flimsy, temporary structures that collapsed under monster raids or high-level siege events.
Only guilds backed by massive resources could afford reinforced outposts.
And even those weren’t enough to hold off elite bosses or top-ranked players.
But a Super Base?
That was on another level entirely.
Super Bases weren’t just buildings.
They were fortresses—capable of leveling up, developing defenses, producing resources... even summoning guardian constructs if properly upgraded.
Only two could exist on the entire server at any time.
Back then, the players who owned them basically ruled the endgame.
Wars were fought over them.
Empires rose and fell around them.
Gabriel remembered clearly—
The guild that first claimed one, Heaven Divide dominated the world rankings for almost a full year.
And now... he held one of the keys.
This was a game changer. Not only would it give him an edge against future enemies, but with a base like this, it would be much easier to attract both NPCs and players into his faction!
"Hahahahahahahaha!" Gabriel burst into a fit of laughter. He laughed so hard that his wounds reopened slightly, leaking blood.
"Oi, Gabriel, what’s that scroll?" Liam called, curious.
Naturally, after seeing how excited he seemed, the others became curious.
"It’s something important," Gabriel replied as he put the scroll inside his inventory. He wasn’t going to reveal the fact that he had just acquired a base blueprint that could evolve.
That would turn every ambitious person greedy.
Scarlet’s eyes flashed strangely. She knew Gabriel was composed and usually kept his emotions in check. For him to be excited could only mean he had found a very powerful treasure.
Unfortunately, there was no way to see the information of a treasure unless one held it or was granted access by the owner.
After containing his excitement, Gabriel then moved toward another scroll, and this one happened to be a skill.
---
[Parry LV.1]
[Rarity: Uncommon]
Description: Instantly deflects a single melee attack if timed correctly. Reduces incoming damage by 80% and staggers the attacker for 0.5 seconds.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
---
"Not bad." He nodded and stored the skill in his inventory to learn later.
The moment he selected his treasures, the rest of the group also stepped forward and began to go through the room, picking whatever they could.
Gabriel ignored them entirely and focused on the scroll section. Because of how rare scrolls were—and with over 20 neatly arranged in the racks—most of the others also decided to check them out.
Only Liam and Alice moved toward a table where weapons were kept.
In total, Gabriel picked five scrolls, planning to sell some and keep the rest for himself. Afterwards, he moved toward the weapon section.
There, he didn’t really find anything useful. All the weapons were subpar compared to his Crimson Judgement greatsword.
For a level 399 existence, he expected much better weapons, but he also understood that the king might have passed down some of his best gear to the royal family—after all, he needed to preserve the throne within his lineage.
Still, Gabriel wasn’t disheartened.
He had come here initially to build relationships with prominent NPCs early on, and also for the 100 EP points. Who would have thought he would get his hands on a Super Base blueprint?
"Look what I found!" Alice suddenly said beside him.
Gabriel turned and froze.
