Chapter 328: Memory Crystal

Still, Apollo didn’t stop.

Even though he knew the divine energy wouldn’t be enough to take him past the Void God realm, he wasn’t disappointed — far from it. Reaching the peak of the Void God stage in such a short span was already a monumental leap.

He sat calmly at the centre of the lake, his breath slow and steady, like an ancient deity meditating beneath a moonlit sky. Every inhale drew in strands of divine power; every exhale released faint silvery mist filled with divine energy.

He could feel it — his internal world expanding further, becoming more stable, more refined.

"Good," he murmured under his breath, voice low and tranquil. He wasn’t greedy even though he wouldn’t reach true god level, but his strength still increased many times, and when he reaches the peak of true god, his strength should surpass middle-stage eternal and be close to late-stage.

And with every breath, every ripple in the divine lake, he was forging that foundation into something unshakeable.

His divine body pulsed once again, adapting to the rapidly condensing divine energy as his aura quietly surged to the very cusp of the limit of the Void God realm.

Clark and Sara, still seated nearby and stabilising their own breakthroughs, occasionally glanced at him — and each time, their hearts trembled a little more.

Apollo Aura was like a black hole with an unknown limit. Time passed. An hour passed. The divine lake, which was filled with dense divine power, seemed to have lost almost all his brilliance.

Boom!

A shockwave spread from Apollo’s body, the water beneath him flattening into perfect stillness before scattering in a ring.

His aura had transformed — dense like a black hole, deep like the void, and brimming with suppressed, godlike pressure.

The lake... was now nothing more than a reflection of what it once was — ordinary water, its energy completely exhausted.

But the result was unmistakable.

Apollo had broken through the late stage and reached the peak of the Void God realm, his presence now unfathomable. He hovered right at the doorstep of becoming a True God, just one final wall away from taking that leap into a higher order of existence.

Clark and Sara stood nearby, barely stabilising their own breakthroughs, gazes locked on him. Neither spoke. What was there to say?

The man before them wasn’t someone they could chase anymore. He had already become a legend in the making.

He opened his eyes and carefully felt his surging strength. He now was extremely confident, not to mention his body, soul or spirit; everything improved, and along with his vast divine energy, he was sure to face the late-stage eternal god.

Maybe he still cannot beat late-stage eternal gods, but he can now hold his own against them.

"So this... is peak Void God."

"Not bad," he muttered to himself, a rare trace of satisfaction in his tone.

He wasn’t arrogant — he understood the scale of what lay beyond. The Eternal God Realm wasn’t a mere continuation of power; it was a transcendence. Every small stage within it was like crossing a great chasm. The gap between early and late Eternal God was like comparing stars to galaxies.

But now...

"Even if I cannot defeat a late-stage Eternal God," he thought, "I can stand my ground... and that alone makes me a myth."

He smiled faintly.

Who else, without even stepping into the True God realm, could clash against those monsters standing atop the universe?

Apollo and the other two then quickly came out of the lake, which now had fully lost its divine power.

The moment they stepped out, the ground beneath them trembled faintly, responding to the presence of three beings who had just undergone powerful transformations. Their auras were no longer the same — they had become profound, steady, and overwhelming.

Clark and Sara stood quietly behind Apollo, both instinctively glancing toward him. Despite their own incredible breakthroughs into the True God realm, his presence still eclipsed theirs — like a vast moon dimming the stars. But they didn’t say anything more; instead, they looked around.

This ancient building already provided them a great chance, but this place seemed to be quite massive, and the Divine Essence Lake was just a fraction of it.

Apollo’s sharp gaze sweeping the expansive halls beyond the chamber. The air still carried dense traces of forgotten laws, and intricate runes etched into the walls whispered fragments of divine knowledge.

"The Divine Lake was just one treasure... There must be more," Apollo said, his voice calm but heavy with certainty.

Just as he said that, suddenly behind them, the chamber began to subtly shift. The lake’s waters receded, revealing the carved stone floor beneath, inscribed with a massive rune circle that started to glow faintly.

"Formation?" Clark asked.

Apollo narrowed his eyes, as he also wasn’t sure.

A moment later, the light expanded from the rune, and a beam of pale silver extended down the hallway, pointing toward another chamber deeper within the ancient building.

His lips curved slightly.

"Let’s see what this place is really hiding."

Then three of them slowly started to follow the pale silver light.

The pale silver light flickered like a living thread, dancing along the cracked tiles and ancient murals that lined the walls of the hallway.

Apollo walked at the front, calm and composed, while Sara and Clark followed closely behind, both visibly more cautious now despite their breakthroughs.

The hallway curved slightly, widening into a vast chamber shrouded in ethereal mist. Unlike the lake chamber, this space was cold and eerily quiet. Floating stones hovered in midair, forming a spiral path toward a central platform where a stone pedestal stood.

Atop the pedestal was a single object—a crystal orb, translucent, yet shimmering with starlight. Inside, faint shadows twisted like flowing galaxies.

Apollo’s eyes narrowed. "A memory crystal?"

He had seen these things before, as it is usually used for using means for inheritance.

As they stepped into the room, the mist began to stir. Runes on the walls flared awake, pulsing slowly like a heartbeat. The pale silver thread of light wrapped around the orb, and then—

Boom!

A sudden shockwave spread out, not physical but spiritual. It pierced directly into their souls, trying to draw them in.
