Chapter 317: Clearing Multiple Floors

Chapter 317: Clearing Multiple Floors

Kael’s eyes narrowed further, the casual lightness in his tone completely gone now. "So... the hidden monsters are starting to crawl out from the cracks."

Across the vast city gathered around the Tower of Epoch, others were beginning to notice as well. But all of this had nothing to do with Apollo, who now appeared in front of his second challenge.

The moment he opened his eyes, he found himself standing on a floating landmass suspended in a sea of stars.

Above him, constellations shifted unnaturally—as if alive—gazing down like silent judges. Below, a seemingly bottomless void loomed, swirling with chaotic fragments of destroyed worlds and broken laws. The platform he stood on was ancient, inscribed with shifting runes that pulsed with timeworn power.

Before him was an altar, but not a simple altar, as it started radiating mysterious light the moment he appeared. And the next moment, three shadowy figures walked out of it.

Each figure was cloaked in an aura that defied reason—shifting forms that flickered between countless states of existence.

One seemed forged from pure void, its every movement rippling across the layer of space like some ghost. The second figure crackled with pure elemental chaos, lightning and fire battling across its silhouette in a violent storm of contradictions.

The last was the most unsettling—it had no fixed form at all, a swirling storm of darkness and light, dreams and memories as if it were a manifestation of will itself.

They didn’t speak.

They didn’t need to.

A voice echoed directly in Apollo’s mind.

[Second Challenge begins]

Once again he heard the voice, and without wasting any time, the three figures attacked him at the same time. And this time he knew it wasn’t going to be simple, as all three figures show different powers.

Apollo’s body tensed, golden veins lighting up beneath his skin as he activated every ounce of his refined physique. He didn’t even blink.

The figure forged from the void struck first, vanishing and reappearing within a heartbeat, its ghostly hand slicing through the layers of space like nothing came toward his chest.

Its touch wasn’t meant to harm his body—it aimed to destroy his existence altogether.

He twisted midair, his divine sense stretching far beyond the attack. "Trying to destroy me?" He growled.

He met the attack head-on, timing it perfectly and finding the ghostly figure while coating his fist in layers of divine energy and slamming it into the void-being. The collision tore a rift in the air, sending shockwaves spiralling in every direction. The figure stumbled back, flickering like a corrupted star.

But then the second figure descended—a being of elemental chaos, flames and lightning writhing wildly, striking at Apollo like a primordial god’s fury. It didn’t follow logic and didn’t obey a pattern. The fire became ice, lightning turned to blades, and gravity twisted.

Apollo didn’t flinch.

He didn’t block.

He charged into the storm.

Each chaotic strike landed, and yet he endured. His perfect physique acted like a divine anchor, grounding him even as the world melted around him. He roared, catching a bolt of lightning in his hand and crushing it, sending sparks exploding like dying stars.

Before he could recover, the third figure made its move—will incarnate. No form. No sound.

It was a weird spiritual attack. Doubt, memories, regrets—all surged into his mind. The mental attack was the weirdest he ever faced, but the other two weren’t going to give him a chance.

He quickly snapped back to face the dangers, as his mental strength was forceful, but still, it was a surprise, as this entity was still able to make him lose his senses for a moment.

Apollo’s pupils shrank slightly.

"Tch. That was dangerous..." He muttered, shaking off the last remnants of confusion.

The third figure’s strange will attack had struck deep, not just at his thoughts but at the very essence of his journey—whispers of failure, flickers of loved ones left behind, moments of doubt from his childhood until now. Even with his formidable spiritual strength, it still caught him off guard.

But there was no time to reflect.

The void life form was already warping toward his flank again, and the chaos elemental surged forward like a cataclysm reborn. Their coordination was eerie—like pieces of a puzzle designed to destroy everything he was.

He narrowed his eyes and exhaled slowly.

"Enough."

Seeing this, he didn’t hold back as the rules of destruction started to appear around him. The space around them started to shatter and annihilate one after another.

"Take this."

His fist gathered the rules of destruction, and then he punched.

The punch roared through the realm like the scream of an ancient god awoken from slumber.

The rules of destruction didn’t just enhance Apollo’s attack—they became it. The space around his fist shattered like fragile glass, reality buckling inwards under the weight of annihilation. Time warped. The air turned black. The floating platform beneath his feet cracked, unable to withstand the destructive resonance.

The three figures reacted instantly—but too late.

The void entity tried to phase out of reality—only to be dragged back in by the collapsing space, then erased in the wake of the punch, reduced to swirling black mist.

The chaotic elemental let out a silent screech, exploding into a storm of unstable elements as Apollo’s attack tore straight through its core, extinguishing its storm like a candle in a void.

The will entity flickered, attempting to dive into his mind again—but this time, Apollo’s spirit was lit with a raging fire. His soul burst forth with divine will, the embodiment of his unshakeable self.

"Break," he commanded, and the third figure obeyed, shattering like a mirror under the weight of his forceful will.

Silence fell.

The altar trembled.

The runes on the ground beneath his feet glowed fiercely—then exploded upward like pillars of starlight. A radiant path began to unfold ahead, spiralling upward toward the third floor.

And beyond the Tower of Epoch, in the skies above the city, the golden list changed again.

[Void God List]

1st – Apollo (Sky Tower) – Cleared Second Floor

2nd – Arvain (Hall of Hell) – Cleared First Floor

3rd – Kyren (Eternal Night Pavilion) – Cleared First Floor

"Second floor already...?"

"In less than a few minutes... is he still human?!"

From every corner of the city, from the great pavilions to the hidden sects in the clouds, voices of disbelief and awe spread like wildfire. Even some Eternal Gods sat in stunned silence, watching the sky with solemn expressions.

But Apollo?

He stood tall at the edge of the radiant path, his expression calm—eyes locked on the third trial ahead. This floor was more interesting, as the three seemed to be experts in different areas and were extraordinarily strong, and together they were even more terrifying, but sadly their opponent was Apollo.

In fact, the test was to survive ten minutes in front of three of them, but nobody could expect that somebody in the void god realm could destroy them.

In front of his terrifying power, they didn’t stand a chance.

With a slight grin, he murmured, "Looks like I can go all the way."

And with that, he walked forward once again.

As he left, the shadowy figure once again appeared, but this time it seemed to be trembling.

"Fuck... what kind of monster is this human?"

It stared at the broken remnants of the altar, where the three guardians had once stood—entities meant to push Void Gods to their absolute limits.

"Did he just destroy the three guardians, and what the fuck did he just use? Rule, and not an ordinary rule but one of the strongest rules of destruction."

"What the hell happened outside? Did in the last hundred thousand years the outside world have changed? And now the universe is filled with monsters."

The Tower trembled faintly as if laughing.

And Apollo? He had already appeared for his next challenge. And continued to clear one after another floor, although every floor put him to different challenges.

Each floor was a different world—some filled with ancient beasts forged from law and chaos, others riddled with mind-breaking illusions meant to shatter even the firmest will. One floor dragged him through a time loop of death and rebirth, forcing him to battle endless versions of himself. Another flooded his senses with emotions of despair and rage, trying to erode the clarity of his soul.

But none of them were enough.

He moved through them like a storm wrapped in golden lightning, his blood roaring with power, his fists shattering every so-called ’impossible trial’.

With each step forward, his aura grew heavier—more refined. The rules of destruction danced around him naturally now, blending with faint echoes of time.

He wasn’t just clearing the Tower. He was conquering it.

Outside, across the vast gathering of peak powers and ancient clans from all corners of the three universes, all eyes were locked onto the golden list hovering above the Tower of Epoch.

Its glow was dazzling—sacred, untouchable. And yet, what drew gasps, what silenced even the haughtiest of geniuses, was the very first name on that list.

[Void God List]

1st – Apollo (Sky Tower) – Cleared Seventh Floor

The name flickered with each breath—every beat of time—as though unable to stabilise because it continued to climb.

"He’s... still going?"
