Chapter 316: Void God List

Chapter 316: Void God List

The world around him dimmed. The light from the gate faded, replaced by an eerie twilight that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once.

And then—

Boom!

One of the statues moved.

Not fully. Just a twitch of the massive halberd—and yet it was like a planet shifting, space groaning from the weight. The aura it unleashed was devastating, and if Apollo were an ordinary Void God, he would’ve been reduced to atoms in an instant.

But he was a bit excited and roared, "Come."

His aura flared as the golden blood in his body started boiling. He wanted to fight this monstrosity with his physique alone, as after his breakthrough, he wanted to test the strength of his perfect physique.

The statue’s eyes flared brighter as if acknowledging his challenge.

BOOM!

The halberd, as tall as a mountain, descended like divine judgement. It wasn’t fast—but it didn’t need to be. Its sheer weight twisted the laws of gravity, dragging the surrounding space into its arc.

Apollo’s pupils shrank to slits, and then—he leapt forward.

His body blurred.

There were no spells, no flashy techniques. Just pure physique, perfected as it was tempered by the heavens themselves. Every muscle fibre in his body burnt like molten gold, veins crackling as his golden blood surged wildly.

He didn’t dodge.

He punched.

With a roar that echoed through the twilight world, Apollo threw his fist straight at the halberd’s descending edge.

BOOOOOOM!!

The collision shook the void.

A shockwave burst out like a blooming supernova, collapsing space in rippling waves. The air split with cracks of dark lightning. One of the nearby star-like runes on the gate shattered under the force, and the halberd, despite its mass, trembled slightly in the air.

He stopped it.

Apollo stood at the centre of a cratered void, his right arm scorched and having a small mark on it.

"Still standing," he muttered, flicking blood off his hand. "Not bad."

The statue... paused.

It didn’t seem capable of emotion, yet the subtle shift in its stance carried a certain weight.

The second statue moved.

It didn’t raise its halberd. Instead, it stepped forward—a single step that made the whole world tilt.

Apollo’s smile faded slightly. "Oh?"

Its gigantic body moved and punched. Not only that, the punch seemed to contain hidden mysteries, as it seemed to contain extremely concentrated power that seemed to destroy the moon and stars.

"Haha, come on." He didn’t feel afraid and equally gathered all his strength. His body was like an ant’s, not to mention his fist, but the power contained in his fist wasn’t less as his tiny fist collided with the mountain-like fist of the statue.

BOOOM!!!

The moment the fists collided—tiny against colossal—the world shuddered.

It was like watching a star collapse inward and explode at the same time. Shockwaves rippled out, tearing across the sky-like dome above them, peeling space apart like thin paper. The ground cracked beneath Apollo’s feet, vast lines of destruction spreading out in a beautiful, terrifying spiderweb of raw power.

The punch from the statue was not just physical.

It contained the essence of power—the kind that could shatter moons, erase stars, and silence entire worlds in a single blow.

He roared, golden light flooding out of every pore, his veins bulging like lightning coiling under his skin. The internal world within exploded as the energy within him was pushed to extremes under his control.

Even as his bones screamed and muscles tore under the pressure, he stood tall.

Crack!!

A splinter formed along the knuckles of the statue’s massive fist. Faint, but undeniable.

Apollo’s strike had cracked it.

He exhaled a deep breath, steam rising off his body like he’d just stepped from a furnace. But his eyes... his eyes were glowing with wild excitement.

"Is that all you’ve got?" He growled, lifting his hand again.

For a moment, silence.

Then both statues lifted their halberds in unison—no longer testing.

The gate behind them began to glow, the ancient runes rearranging like shifting constellations.

He cracked his neck. "Guess I passed."

The moment he collided with the first statue, he knew these giant statues in armour were almost harder than the Divine weapons of the seventh grade, which are usually used by Eternal Gods.

So, it was impossible for the test to destroy these statues at the level of the Void god. He guessed the test might be to survive some attacks, but now it seems it was just a single attack. But then its strength really reached a terrifying level, so that a single attack from it would destroy almost everyone in the Void God realm.

Unless they have some trump card or special abilities, it is almost impossible to clear. And no one, being like him, directly fought with it with just his flesh.

And the gate began to open—slowly, ominously, revealing a new world of challenges beyond.

As he disappeared inside the gate, a few cracks appeared on the halberd of the first and the first of the second statue. And a shadowy figure appeared, seeming to look in the direction where Apollo disappeared and murmured.

"How the fuck can a void god have such a terrifying physique? Not to mention still a human Void god!"

On the other side, Apollo didn’t know anything about that, as he seemed to appear in another space to face his second challenge. But the situation outside the Tower of Epoch at that moment was more exciting as the sudden change took place.

A magnificent list covered in a golden aura seemed to appear right above the tower of Epoch.

The golden list shimmered into existence like a divine decree, its appearance so sudden and overwhelming that the sky trembled beneath it. Countless gazes rose in unison as the golden brilliance lit the entire city centre. Even Eternal Gods who had seen countless phenomena stood still, their expressions serious.

The letters on the list pulsed faintly as if written in cosmic rules themselves, each name etched with timeless weight. At the top, a glowing new entry began to appear—slowly, but undeniably.

[Void God list]

[1st – Apollo (Sky Tower) – Cleared First Floor ]

"Look, somebody already cleared the first floor."

Gasps erupted through the crowd.

"Apollo? Who the hell is that?"

"Sky Tower? That’s one of the transcended forces from the Ethereal Universe, right? But... first place already? And he’s just a Void God?!"

Even among Eternal Gods, the Tower of Epoch was known as a trial of unimaginable difficulty—its tests designed to weed out all but the most monstrous of prodigies. For a Void God to clear the first floor so quickly, before the eternal gods, was a shocking feat.

Above, the golden list shimmered with a dignified brilliance, as if the very heavens were acknowledging Apollo’s presence. His name alone bathed in radiant light, outshining all others like a newborn sun.

At that moment, various powerful forces in all corners of the three universes stirred.

Inside a floating citadel wrapped in stardust, a silver-robed woman raised her head, her eyes gleaming. "Interesting. A human... and a Void God at that. Seems this gathering won’t be dull."

In the Sky Tower’s own pavilion, Kael couldn’t stop grinning as others around him stared in awe. "Lord is really wonderful; the moment he made a move, it was a shocking one.

Sometime later another list appeared, but this wasn’t as surprising as it was the Eternal God List. However, a second later, when another name appeared, it caused shock, as it was once again a person in the Void God realm who appeared at the second rank, just behind Apollo in the Void God list.

Gasps of disbelief once again echoed across the plaza.

"A... another Void God?!"

"No way! Two Void Gods at the top of the Void God list before any True or Eternal God? What is happening this year?!"

The glowing golden list shifted subtly, welcoming a new entry just beneath Apollo’s.

[Void God List]

1st – Apollo (Sky Tower) – Cleared First Floor

2nd – Arvain (Hall of Hell) – Cleared First Floor

"Arvain... Never heard of them," someone muttered.

"Yeah, but to clear the first floor this quickly means his talent."

"But what force is Hall of Hell? Why have I never heard of it in the three universes?"

Kael’s grin faded just a little as he narrowed his eyes, looking at the new name shimmering in gold beneath Apollo’s.

"Hall of Hell...? Could it be that?" He muttered, tapping his chin.

The atmosphere within the Sky Tower’s pavilion turned serious. Even the seasoned elders looked at one another in confusion.

"Never heard of it either," one of them said with a frown. "It’s not registered among the ancient factions of any of the three universes."

It wasn’t just because someone was catching up to Apollo—it was the mystery. In a universe where power is respected but the mystery is feared, the appearance of an unknown prodigy was unsettling.

Just then, in a corner of the observation area, an old man in dark robes stirred. His wrinkled hand tightened around a black jade staff.

"Hall of Hell... I haven’t heard that name in eons. That force was supposed to be sealed outside the Three Universes after the last Calamity."

Gasps broke out again.

"Wait—are you saying they’re from beyond?"
