Chapter 238: Battling Within Dimension Battle World

[Do you want to enter Dimension Battle World (Yes/No) ]

"Yes."

[Please select the mode of battle (1 vs. 1/ Battle of Survival)]

He quickly decided he was going to do an individual struggle.

"1 vs. 1."

[The user is already registered.]

[User Apollo’s mind is being transported to Dimension Battle World.]

After that, he instantly appears in the large empty arena, which is the same as before. Hopefully, this time, he won’t meet the monster right from the start.

"Start."

[Opponents being matched 1.2.3..]

[Opponent found. Preparing for the duel.]

A portal of swirling energy appeared at the far end of the arena. From within stepped a tall figure clad in dark armour, their face obscured by a helm adorned with mysterious runes. He carried a massive battle axe that seemed to hum with suppressed power.

[Opponent- Alaric, the Iron Tempest.]

[Rank- 1,644,754]

Apollo’s eyes narrowed looking at the rank. It had to mention not being fooled by ranking, as it was the ranking from within the entire universe. The ranking in millions wasn’t bad considering countless life forms live in the universe.

Anyone who ranks within the million can be called the great genius of the universe, and every force treats them as their great treasure.

Apollo rolled his shoulders, his silver aura pulsing faintly as he prepared for the battle.

"Let’s see how much of a ’great genius’ from the universe truly is."

The system’s voice echoed in the arena:

[Match commencing. Prepare for combat.]

Alaric hefted his massive axe, the runes on its blade glowing a fierce red. His laughter was deep and guttural, filled with the confidence of someone who had fought and won countless times.

Not to mention he saw Apollo was unranked. The unranked are not even within the ten million; hence, he felt more confident.

Apollo also can see this, but he only fought once and lost it, so it is true he was unranked as he never won a battle, even if it was one time.

"You look calm," Alaric said, his voice booming across the arena. "I like that. Let’s see if you stay that way after my axe severe your head!"

Apollo smirked faintly, his eyes sharp and focused.

"You’ll find I’m full of surprises."

As the countdown began, the tension in the arena grew palpable. Apollo could feel the weight of Alaric’s powerful aura pressing against him, but he didn’t flinch.

He came here to find stronger opponents, and he was looking forward to meeting guys who could push him to the limits.

"3... 2... 1... Begin!"

The arena erupted in a surge of power as the two warriors clashed, their energies colliding like crashing waves.

Both of their auras were ferocious and wild, surpassing the most half-gods, showing the quality of the ranking.

Alaric made the first move, leaping into the air and swinging his massive axe. The weapon radiated a fierce aura—similar to Sword Aura but distinctly different. It was Axe Aura, brimming with destructive power and an oppressive, mountain-splitting force.

Apollo also didn’t evade; he with his bare fist punched the axe with colossal power.

Booom!

Both their attacks collided and created shock waves that made the space tremble, yet both of them weren’t pushed back.

"What the fuck!" Apollo remained calm, but Alaric was anything but. He hadn’t expected a scrawny-looking guy like Apollo to catch his axe barehanded, relying solely on the strength of his flesh and bones. His attacks, capable of splitting mountains, had been effortlessly stopped by his opponent’s bare hands.

His attack wasn’t something that most of the half-gods could take, but seeing such results, the proud grin on his face disappeared.

But he didn’t have time to think much, as Apollo was the one who took the turn to become aggressive. After his Divine body breakthrough, he didn’t stop coming to the starlight tower to temper his physique.

He made improvements and already reached the late stage of the second-rank divine body, and attacks below the void god level will hardly hurt him. And now that he had a chance, he wanted to go wild with his raw strength.

He stepped forward and, with unimaginable speed, rushed forward and started to attack with a barrage of fists, with each fist containing earth-shattering power and could kill normal half-gods.

Boom! Bang! Boom! Bang!...

Alaric didn’t expect he would also swing his axe, and with lightning speed, the axe and fist collided one after another, creating shock waves one after another, shaking the arena and tearing space.

The sound of their battle was deafening.

Alaric gritted his teeth as he felt his arms strain with each swing of his axe. Apollo’s fists were relentless, like hammer blows from a celestial forge, raining down with unyielding precision and terrifying power.

’How is he so strong?’ Alaric thought, sweat beginning to bead on his forehead. Each strike from Apollo was heavier than the last, and his movements were extremely fast and accurate.

He had fought many, and quite a lot were stronger than him, but he never faced someone who suppressed him with his raw strength with his fist only.

In a minute of the clash, he was thrown like a ragdoll all around the arena as he was completely overpowered, but he wasn’t going to let it end like this and attacked the final time with all his strength with his secret trump card.

His axe glowed fiercely, and space around him shattered by the weight of the aura, and above him a great axe seemed to appear that was like a mountain, even affecting the gravity.

"Oh." Apollo surprised by the change looked at Alaric with interest and didn’t try to stop him.

"Come on, show me what you got."

"Thousand Mountain Gravity Axe."

And with that, he swung the gigantic axe that, like his name, came towards him with a crushing force of a thousand mountains, suppressing the entire space within the arena.

The colossal axe descended with apocalyptic force, its aura heavy enough to distort space itself. The oppressive weight blanketed the arena, making even the air feel suffocating. The sheer gravitational pull caused cracks to spread across the ground, and the entire space seemed on the verge of collapse.

Apollo stood still, his silver aura flaring to life around him. He looked up at the descending axe with calm yet focused eyes.

""Not bad. But it isn’t enough."

He didn’t have any idea of to evade; he clenched his fist gathered all his strength and punched finally with all his strength directly towards the mountain-sized attack.

BOOOOOOM!

The collision was cataclysmic. Energy rippled outward in a violent shockwave, tearing apart the arena’s space and causing cracks to spread in all directions. The sheer force of the impact was deafening, shaking the dimension itself.

The oppressive weight and gravitational force pressed down on Apollo, causing the ground beneath him to disintegrate. But then, a deafening crack echoed through the arena.

The massive axe began to fracture, the cracks spreading rapidly from the point of impact.

"Break!" Apollo roared, his voice cutting through the void.

CRAAAAACK!

The axe shattered into countless fragments of energy, dispersing into the void like a broken constellation.

The force of his punch didn’t stop there—it barreled forward, the aftershock slamming into Alaric. The impact sent him flying across the arena, his body skidding to a halt in a deep crater.

Apollo lowered his fist, calming down as he exhaled.

Alaric wanted to stand up, but the damage was too much, and slowly he could watch Apollo’s calm eyes as he disappeared, losing the battle.

A mechanical notification appeared in his vision.

[Victory! Rank is being calculated based on opponent rank and performance.]

After a second, the voice rang again with new information appearing.

[User Name- Apollo]

[No of battles- 02]

[Win- 01, Loss- 01]

[Ranking- 1,644,743]

Looking at the new information and ranking, a smile appeared on his face. He can rank such directly because he defeated a stronger opponent just now; otherwise, it would take him time to reach this ranking step by step.

He knows that after reaching the top million, they will receive special treatment, so his initial target is to reach that. And hence, with this, he continued his challenge one after another.

Maybe because of his ranking, he didn’t meet weak opponents; even the weakest he met was around three million rank, and the strongest almost made the top million.

He fought eight more matches in a single breath, and he won every single one of them with overwhelming strength, as it didn’t matter which race they were from or how peculiar their strength was; all ended by him. His ranking also changed as he won these matches.

[User Name- Apollo]

[No of battles- 10]

[Win- 09, Loss- 01]

[Ranking- 1,006,743]

Apollo’s ranking had already climbed near the top million, but to break into that prestigious tier, he needed to issue a challenge to the 1,000,000th Genius, often referred to as the Gatekeeper of Geniuses.
