Chapter 214: Dimension Cut

Chapter 214: Dimension Cut

An icy arrow, shimmering with a trace of mysterious space law, began to condense in Apollo’s grip. Its aura steadily escalated, radiating a terrifying sense of impending destruction. As the arrow absorbed more power, its essence deepened, as though it were transcending ordinary limits and approaching the pinnacle of perfection.

The surrounding space trembled and warped under the overwhelming force it contained. Minute distortions appeared, and then cracks. Black rifts split the air around Apollo, jagged tears in reality itself, spreading out like creeping vines.

Frost formed along the fractures, the air becoming colder with each passing second. The arrow’s very presence seemed to reject the existence of everything around it as if space itself could no longer bear its presence.

Others also felt it, as the terrifying sight sent shivers down their spines as they looked in horror. Among the many participants who were still on the different platforms of the heavenly path, only Esher directly faced the horror of Apollo’s attack.

Even though he was on the lower platform and was too far away to fully feel the aura, Esher still felt the terror, and it shook his heart. He cannot help but remember the feeling when facing it, and almost it if not for having a trick to save himself.

"Void Disintegration Arrow."

Apollo didn’t care about others’ reactions and quickly used his devastating arrow, as it is one of the strongest means of attack he can use for a single target.

Boom!

He fired the arrow, which traveling through space appeared near Drakin’s blood river that protected him. But this time the attack wasn’t something that could be stopped easily.

The Void Disintegration Arrow pierced through the blood river like a divine spear breaching a mortal shield, tearing apart the chaotic currents with unstoppable force. The once-impenetrable wall of blood shattered as the arrow’s spatial distortions consumed everything in its path, twisting energy and matter into nonexistence.

All the geniuses on the 90th platform were shocked by the sudden eruption of Apollo and the arrow that seemed to shake their body and soul.

Drakin’s expression shifted—his grin faltering for the first time. His crimson eyes narrowed as he sensed the arrow’s immense threat—an attack created not just to harm but to annihilate.

The air around Drakin churned violently as the space around him buckled and cracked. He raised his hands in desperation, summoning every bit of his chaotic blood power. Bloody chains lashed out toward the incoming arrow, converging like a storm of serpents. But the arrow was relentless—it unravelled the chains into mist the moment they touched it, like paper disintegrating in a furnace.

The arrow surged forward faster than thought, its cold glow expanding in Drakin’s vision until it seemed to eclipse the world itself.

Boom!

The impact was cataclysmic.

A deafening shockwave erupted, blasting outward with such force that the entire 90th platform trembled.

The air turned deathly cold, ice spreading rapidly across the ground, freezing cracks in space itself. Geniuses scattered, shielding themselves from the terrifying fallout, but even from a distance, the chill gnawed at their bones, and their souls felt brushed by the void.

In the centre of the devastation, Drakin’s blood river—once vast and fearsome—was torn to shreds, reduced to the mist that evaporated into nothingness.

For a moment, silence reigned. All the gathered geniuses stared in disbelief at the aftermath, stunned by the sheer destruction wrought by Apollo’s attack.

Then the void shifted—twisting as if something fought against its grasp. Drakin’s figure emerged from the blood, staggering. His body was riddled with wounds, his blood-red aura flickering erratically as if barely holding together.

But he was still here and standing and not eliminated, surprising everyone.

"Damm it, I will kill you and everyone here." Drakin’s crimson eyes seem to have lost any sense of sanity and became filled with bloodthirsty and killing intent.

"Die Die Die...

And blood around him started boiling with his aura, which seemed to break the barrier of saints, and finally reached the level of Half-God, surpassing everyone around here.

Although Drakin seemed to have lost his mind, the breakthrough had made his aura even more terrifying. He wasn’t an ordinary person to begin with, and even in a crazed state, he remained incredibly powerful and extremely dangerous.

Outside, the crowd and the elders of various clans—still reeling from Apollo’s previous attack—were once again horrified by Drakin’s sudden eruption.

The high-ranking figures and elders of the top ten clans couldn’t help but exchange uneasy glances toward Drakin’s clan. Something about him felt different now, and with this unexpected outburst, a sense of growing worry began to spread among them.

The expressions of all the geniuses grew even graver—Drakin seemed to have crossed a major threshold. If they didn’t combine their strength, they knew they risked losing to the now-mad Drakin.

Apollo narrowed his eyes. He could feel it—a shift in the battlefield. Drakin’s chaotic energy no longer obeyed ordinary laws. It was untamed, primal, and deadly.

Kassandra’s lips curled into a grimace. "We can’t hold back anymore. Everyone, throw everything you’ve got!" Her lightning crackled furiously around her, arcs of electricity snapping and roaring like thunder, and her entire figure changed as she seemed to become bigger like a giant of thunder and lightning.

Eon’s sword hummed with an ominous resonance, his aura sharpening to the absolute edge of perfection. He whispered a silent prayer to the spirit of the blade as he activated a secret technique reserved for life-and-death battles. "Let’s finish this."

Without hesitation, everyone else also brought out their trump cards and secret techniques—moves they had saved for the most critical moments.

Apollo took a deep breath, his blue eyes narrowing as he accessed Drakin with a deep disgust feeling from his sword aura. Although he didn’t know why, he was going to defeat it.

He wasn’t just going to unleash another devastating attack—this time, he’d draw upon the full potential of his domain-level understanding. The power of space, and ice, surged with his eternal sword aura, forming a dangerous trinity as he drew his sword.

On the other side, Drakin, assaulted by the fierce attacks of the geniuses, seemed unfazed. Behind him, a blood-red sun with writhing tentacles emerged, unleashing a devastating attack that appeared ready to swallow everything in its path, leaving behind a residue of chaotic, bloodthirsty aura.

"What!?"

Everyone was stunned as their combined attacks were consumed by the blood sun. In an instant, the strange, chain-like tentacles shot toward them, piercing through their defences as if nothing could stop the bizarre laws governing the attack.

Eon’s sword gleamed, slicing through the encroaching tentacles with deadly precision, his aura vibrating with an eerie sharpness that hinted at his hidden heritage. Kassandra unleashed her own storm, lightning bolts infused with strange sigils that cracked the air around her, deflecting the tentacles with barely contained fury.

But even they were barely holding on.

The other geniuses, except for Kassandra and Eon—whose mysterious and terrifying backgrounds allowed them to withstand the blood sun’s tentacle-like chains—were not so fortunate. The rest found themselves cornered by hundreds, if not thousands, of writhing tentacles, unable to fight back.

"No... No!"

Just as they thought they had lost and the tentacles pierced their bodies, they weren’t immediately transported outside. Instead, they were overwhelmed by excruciating pain, their screams echoing across the battlefield.

The onlookers outside noticed their agony, and just as confusion spread about what was happening, the participants were finally transported out—though no one could understand the reason for the delay.

However, what the transported geniuses failed to notice was the faint trace of a bloody, chaotic aura lingering deep within their minds, hidden from them.

Apollo’s cold gaze remained locked on Drakin, even as the horrific scene unfolded around him. He clenched his sword tighter, his knuckles white, as he felt the oppressive weight of the blood sun’s aura bearing down on him. The eternal sword aura around him roars violently, reacting to the unnatural presence as if rejecting the very existence of this chaotic force.

The sudden attack wiped out eight geniuses simultaneously, leaving only Apollo, Kassandra, and Eon. But it was clear to everyone that only Apollo was still standing, unwavering, as he faced the blood sun. The sinister sun pulsed ominously, radiating an aura that seemed to corrupt the mind and devour any attacks thrown at it.

Apollo’s eyes narrowed into cold slits as his sword vibrated with mysterious energy, the sharp resonance of space, ice, and his eternal sword aura intertwining into a deadly force.

The overwhelming presence of the blood-red sun loomed before him, its writhing tendrils seemingly alive, eager to devour everything in sight. The sinister pulse radiating from it tried to corrode his mind, but Apollo stood unwavering—unfazed.

He raised his sword slowly, his gaze calm but sharp as a blade, and his aura expanded, rippling out in waves that caused cracks in the space around him. The clash of his eternal sword aura with the blood sun’s chaotic energy created a deafening hum—like two primordial forces vying for dominance.

"Fourteenth sword—Dimension Cut!"

In an instant, he slashed downward.

The Dimension Cut wasn’t just a strike—it was a fundamental severing of dimension itself. Space around the blood sun fractured like glass, jagged shards of broken dimensions spreading out as the attack tore open a vast rift in the fabric of existence.

The Dimension Cut cleaved through everything—the chaotic energy of the blood sun, its malignant tendrils, and the surrounding battlefield. The sun emitted a final, furious burst of energy in defiance, but it was too late. Apollo’s attack tore into its core, severing the chaotic essence that fueled its existence.

The sky seemed to split open as the rift expanded, swallowing the blood sun. With a soundless explosion, the sun collapsed inward on itself, pulled into the endless void between spatial dimensions.
