Chapter 205: Void Disintegration Arrow.

Esher’s confidence was not unfounded. As a genius who had comprehended the Law of Darkness to the level of a domain, he had every reason to be proud. With his mastery of the darkness domain, he could easily overpower most saints, even those with a significant understanding of their own domains.

The way his aura of darkness blanketed the battlefield was proof of his superiority. Within his darkness domain, the perception was skewed, senses dulled, and every step felt like wading through a thick, suffocating night. For most opponents, facing him was akin to battling darkness—attacks landed on illusions and corrosion while the real threat remained unseen until it was too late.

Unless he encountered someone with mastery over similarly rare laws, his dominance remained unchallenged, ensuring that he would remain undefeated.

"You’re not just here to watch," Asher said, narrowing his eyes. The darkness around him pulsed, eager to react to any sign of hostility. "Are you planning to challenge me?"

Apollo chuckled, the sound low and easy. "I was just curious."

Asher’s grin widened, his dark aura swirling with anticipation. "Curious, huh? Well, it seems your curiosity might cost you more than you hoped for." Esher laughed, although he could see that the guy was quite mysterious and didn’t show any expression.

Perhaps this man had a Trump card, but Asher wasn’t concerned. Confidence radiated from him; after all, only the elites of the top ten clans deserved his serious attention. This stranger? At best, it is an appetizer before the real challenge.

The air between them grew heavier, charged with tension. Marianne, sensing the dangerous shift, tensed. She knew a confrontation was inevitable. Asher’s darkness thickened, swirling like a black tide, preparing to consume everything in its path.

Apollo’s smile remained faint, as if untouched by Asher’s bravado. "Appetizer, is it? You might not find me easy to swallow."

Asher’s eyes gleamed with amusement. "We’ll see soon enough."

Without another word, Apollo’s form flickered—and in an instant, he reappeared several meters away, bow already drawn. His icy arrow shimmered faintly as if it existed halfway between space and reality.

"Hopefully, you will be able to eat a lot because I plan on trying quite a few things." Apollo smiled and looked at Asher, whose expression changed seeing his sudden teleportation and the twisted space around his bow and arrow.

Asher’s grin faltered for the briefest moment. "Law of Space."

"Fuck!"

He knew it was going to be a fierce fight; if he knew, he wouldn’t say big words, but that didn’t mean he was afraid. ’Come on, let’s see how powerful space law is.’

Before Esher could react, Apollo’s arrow vanished—only to reappear directly in front of his chest. With an instinct born of countless battles, Asher quickly, without a second thought, burst out with an aura of darkness that enveloped him like armour stopping the arrow.

Boom!

The collision sent a shockwave through the air, and Apollo raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Oh..." He murmured, watching as the arrow disintegrated against the armour of darkness. Esher stood tall, the law of darkness swallowing the arrow’s spatial energy and leaving him unscathed.

Esher straightened with a sigh, although it looked like it wasn’t difficult, but he knew that arrow was too fast and almost made him lose. But after this, a wicked grin spread across his face. "Surprised? The darkness isn’t just for hiding—it’s infinite and nothingness." His aura writhed around him like living shadows, ready to consume anything. "Now it’s your turn, and this won’t be easy for you."

Apollo tilted his head slightly, an intrigued glint in his eye. "Haha, let’s see what you can do."

The other three beside Esher quickly moved backwards, giving space, and even Marianne, knowing it would be a serious battle, quickly moved to a safer distance.

Esher’s dark aura churned like a storm, black tendrils coiling around him, ready to strike at a moment’s notice. "I’ll show you why the Law of Darkness isn’t just for show."

Apollo’s expression remained calm, his bow slightly lowered but his eyes sharp and calculating. "Show me, then."

With a roar, Esher thrust his hands forward, sending waves of dark tendrils whipping toward Apollo. They slithered like serpents, fast and precise, aiming to wrap around his limbs and drain everything from him.

But Apollo was gone in an instant, his form flickering out of existence. He reappeared a dozen meters away, already drawing his bow. An arrow hummed with spatial energy, distorting the air as if the world itself resisted its presence.

Esher snorted and expanded his domain. Darkness oozed across the ground, spreading in every direction like ink spilled across the parchment, and the dark fog around him became denser. His field of control grew, leaving no room for error—if Apollo slipped, even once, the darkness would claim him.

Apollo loosed the arrow, and it vanished mid-flight, bypassing the distance between them. Esher was ready this time. His domain pulsed, devouring the arrow before it could rematerialize near him. "You’ll need more than that!" Esher barked, his confidence growing.

But Apollo only smiled. "Good. But you shouldn’t talk this much when fighting someone."

"What!"

Esher’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Shit!" The arrows split through space, attacking from multiple angles—each imbued with Apollo’s mastery of spatial manipulation. His domain of darkness surged in response, but it was too slow to counter every threat.

The first arrow slammed into his side, the second grazed his shoulder, and the third, descending from above, was mere inches from piercing his skull.

In a desperate move, Esher roared, unleashing a concentrated burst of darkness. Shadows exploded outward, thick and oppressive, swallowing two of the incoming arrows just in time. But the third arrow—aimed for his head—slipped through the cracks in his defence.

Esher twisted at the last second, and the arrow missed his skull by a hair’s breadth, slicing through his cheek and landing beside him.

Boom!

Blood sprayed, cold and sharp as the winter winds, but the near miss rattled him more than the wound itself.

Panting, he gritted his teeth. "You fucker!"

Apollo remained eerily calm, already drawing another arrow. His expression didn’t shift, as if the current situation had been predetermined. "You talk too much, Esher."

The space around Apollo shimmered once more, warping in unpredictable patterns. Arrows emerged from these distortions, not one or two, but a dozen, each crackling with spatial energy that defied the laws and distance. They moved with terrifying precision, their paths intersecting and overlapping, creating a deadly net.

Esher’s heart raced. He knew if even one arrow landed cleanly, it could end him, as each arrow carries devastating power. His mind whirled, calculating his next move. The black mist thickened, wrapping around him like armour. He pushed the darkness domain to its limit, trying to absorb every arrow.

He didn’t hold back anything; his domain surged outward, a roiling sea of darkness that devoured everything in its path. Grass withered, plants blackened, and trees crumbled into ash as the corruption spread. The very air seemed to grow heavy with malice, and the ground beneath his feet cracked under the oppressive aura.

Even Apollo’s spatial arrows, which had torn through the battlefield with lethal precision, began to falter. As they entered the boundaries of Asher’s expanded domain, their momentum slowed, and the energy within them began to unravel. The once razor-sharp arrows flickered and lost their brilliance as if swallowed by the abyss itself.

Within the shroud of darkness, everything was consumed—everything except the few meters of space surrounding Apollo. The area around him remained untouched, as though the darkness dared not encroach upon it. It was as if an invisible boundary shielded him, leaving the ground beneath his feet pristine.

Apollo stood calmly, unaffected, his posture relaxed, as if the suffocating darkness swirling around him was of no consequence. His gaze held a spark of interest, as though he were studying a curious phenomenon rather than confronting an opponent’s power.

The oppressive blackness loomed, twisting and undulating, yet Apollo’s expression remained composed, his eyes sharp with calculation. He stood there—unmoved, undeterred—like a lone star in the void, watching it all unfold with mild interest.

He was covered in a spatial barrier, and they weren’t just a single barrier but multiple layers of space interlocked together to form a strong invisible barrier that even the law of darkness cannot corrode.

Even enveloped in darkness, Apollo’s keen eyes locked onto his target. He drew his soul-shattering bow with slow precision, but this time he didn’t immediately release the arrow. Instead, energy began to coalesce around it—an overwhelming, destructive force that made the air tremble.

Esher, watching from within his domain, felt a cold shiver run down his spine. The momentum building around Apollo was dangerous—too dangerous. He had to act before it was too late.

Without hesitation, the fog of darkness within his domain twisted and morphed into countless weapons, launching them from every angle toward Apollo, seeking to shatter the spatial barrier protecting him. But the barrier held firm, impenetrable, and unyielding, as though reality itself refused to bend.

In an instant, the arrow was fully charged.

"Void Disintegration Arrow."

Bang!

The arrow shot forth, shattering space with terrifying speed. Esher’s heart sank—there was no time to react. His darkness domain, a manifestation of his mastery, crumbled before the arrow’s unstoppable might as if it didn’t exist at all. The oppressive black mist parted, unable to even slow the arrow’s trajectory.

"Wh—"

BOOOM!
