Chapter 49: A powerful woman (1)

At the last moment before colliding with the fireball, Jenna and Elliot managed to dodge it, but they didn’t both jump to the same place.

It was pure instinct, but Jenna could understand where Elliot would attack, so she decided to attack the other Orc Warrior on the other side.

Her attack was so fast that it took the Orc by surprise, and he couldn’t defend himself. He only dove the attack slightly, which hit him on his right shoulder with terrifying force, forcing him to jump backwards.

Jenna fell to the ground immediately and jumped back to dodge a lightning bolt that fell from the sky. Turning her head, she noticed that the other remaining wizard was focusing his attention on her.

"Well... I’ll have to kill you first." She smiled, turned around, but before she could jump towards the orc wizard, she was forced to move her head to the side.

A slightly shiny blade glinted in the moonlight and passed right in front of her nose, and a terrifying face of an orc warrior appeared behind it.

She spun around quickly and attacked with a powerful thrust toward the orc’s chest. Although he managed to dodge the deadly blow, the sword still pierced his arm, opening a deep wound that went down to the bone.

At the same time, the sword changed shape, turning back into energy and then solidifying into a sword once more, to attack another part of the body.

Jenna’s eyes glowed red as her power seemed to activate consecutively, causing the sword to turn into energy and then solidify to attack different places in a matter of seconds. She finished with a horizontal attack that was so fast it took her to the other side of the orc’s body and finished opening all the wounds she had made at that moment.

’He’s more powerful than he should be. Has he been growing?’ she thought, looking at the orc who was now behind her.

But she didn’t stop... She quickly began running through the trees, dodging the repeated spells being cast at her and getting closer and closer to the wizard.

She was no novice when it came to wielding a sword.

Although Jenna White is not famous among the younger generation of the Arce Kingdom, this is solely because she spent most of her time with her parents.

When she was given the opportunity to go out into the world, apart from causing some trouble in Agora, she never wanted to be recognized solely for the talent she was born with. She wanted to be recognized for her fierceness in battle and for the path she paved for herself, not for her talent.

While her talent would be present throughout this path and would help her pave it in the first place, it was better to be known as someone who did great things with her talent than as someone whose talent was good.

That is why she came to this place.

If it weren’t for that, she, at just 16 years old, would undoubtedly be one of the most famous people in the kingdom.

Her talent with the sword was innate even before she awakened, but with her awakening, she has become a complete master. Perhaps she has not delved too deeply into understanding the sword because she still lacks time, but she is already above most young people today.

This was evident in high-level combat like this, where her opponents were on par with her in strength, but she did not lose.

She quickly approached the Orc Wizard, dodging the Orc Warrior’s attacks, until she was finally face to face with him.

The mage stared intently at her as he began casting his magic quickly.

’You don’t have time to cast,’ she sneered. She immediately attacked him fiercely, trying to split him in half with a powerful cross-attack.

She seemed to blink in the air, but suddenly shot backward when she felt her sword collide with something, the same thing that pushed her back.

’Hm?’ She looked up, wondering if the Orc Warrior had been that fast to get there, but what she saw surprised her.

Two lightning spells shot forward, pushing her backward.

’Did he have time to cast two?’ She was so shocked that she planted her feet firmly on the ground and jumped back toward that orc again, but before she could reach him, she was struck from the side and sent flying into a nearby tree.

She didn’t have time to think; she quickly got up and ran away, as two powerful spells fell on her.

The impact blew up several trees and sent rocks flying everywhere, which filled her with curiosity.

’That’s a powerful attack... But why two? How can it cast so quickly? Is it a special beast with developed abilities?’ If so, then they had been very unlucky today.

Beasts with developed abilities are very rare and grow very quickly. They are so dangerous that they can become a threat even to those above them in terms of power.

That’s why they do not want to encounter one right now.

But she wasn’t sure yet. Jenna quickly went to meet the Orc Warrior, and her power reached her limit, hitting him continuously with astonishing mastery.

The warrior orc was soon covered in open wounds, as Jenna’s sword widened across his skin, forcing him to retreat. But she wasn’t having an easy time either; the wizard’s repeated attacks forced her to keep her distance from the orc, preventing her from attacking with all her strength and killing him.

If this continued, she would eventually win, because her stamina was good enough to hold out.

The problem was...

’I don’t know if Elliot can beat a creature as strong as this...’ She turned her head at that moment, just in time to see Elliot decapitate the Orc Wizard. She felt happy, but her joy was short-lived.

"Elliot!" She shouted, seeing that he had been brutally beaten and completely caught off guard.
