Chapter 104: His revenge (2)

Chapter 104: His revenge (2)

"Damn you... I know it’s hard for you to hear me now, but... The day you dared to allow that, your death sentence was written." The coldness of his words made a body that shouldn’t have been able to hear him tremble.

"Besides, it wasn’t going to be a painless death. You were destined to suffer!"

He drew his sword and gently stabbed it into another of his organs.

Then he stood up and shattered his right leg.

"You shattered my mother’s leg, now I hope you can understand her pain." He looked at him as if he were trash.

He was covered in blood and wounds. He tried to beg for his life.

But he ignored him.

"Suffer a little longer. You’ll have the slowest death I can allow you." Elliot looked at the giant TV above the sand.

"Too bad I don’t have more time." He sighed and moved.

"I hope you enjoy your last few minutes, you bastard."

On the other side of the battle...

The Clark Group was being wiped out.

The two Masters were trapped.

One was a tank, fighting against a tank-like beast that felt no pain, and also against Andrew, a powerful man whose power increased with every blow.

In addition, the Berserker, who also felt no pain and was attacking indiscriminately, was attacking him from behind. Although his attacks were not as effective on a Master, he could not ignore the damage completely.

Therefore, if he continued like this, he was doomed to die.

The other Master was a magical swordsman. With every strike, his sword shot rays in all directions, but Jenna’s mastery completely contained his overall power. It was an unprecedented fight in which the swordsman’s magical mastery could somewhat match Jenna’s skill with the sword.

It was the first time anyone had ever seen anything like it.

But that wouldn’t last long.

Rich and Chris, moving quickly along the sides, managed to find the blind spot of the Soul Mage who had been fighting the mage-type summoned beast.

Both ran frantically, summoning their weapons along the way, and in a flash, attacked from blind spots.

"AGHH!" The Soul Mage’s scream was immediate.

"Jeff!" A female assassin screamed and lunged toward him to defend him, but she was facing the Warrior.

Turning your back on a warrior was a death sentence. This warrior jumped frantically and attacked her from behind, forcing her to turn around to defend herself.

KANK*

The sound of clashing weapons drowned out the mage’s cries of agony as two spells fell upon him and a cold sword pierced his neck.

The magic was fiery, the sword was cold. The contrast between these two feelings frightened the mage, but his neck was quickly severed.

His head fell to the ground.

Chris smiled coldly.

"First."

Rich appeared from behind and smiled.

"Who do we help? Without the Soul Mage, they’re finished."

"Good question," Chris replied, looking at the different fights. "Let’s get rid of the tank. With our help, it’ll be a piece of cake."

Immediately, Chris went to the front, where the tank was fighting three enemies.

But then he stopped.

"Forget it, let’s help Andy and Philip." He said helplessly as he realized Elliot had appeared above the tank with an attack ready.

The killer rat appeared to the tank’s right, and the berserker who had fallen entirely into madness attacked from behind.

Three simultaneous attacks struck this resilient bastard. One broke his shoulder. Another dug into his side, and the third hit his leg, knocking him off balance.

Andrew smiled coldly at this. "Try my tenth blow, you little bastard!" he roared.

His body rose above him, and his hammer came down fiercely on his head.

A bloody explosion came from there, sinking his body as if he had fallen into some metal factory.

Elliot was surprised by that power.

"Ten hits?" he asked.

Andrew, after noticing that the guy was dead, smiled. "Ten hits. I no longer have a chance to reach the 11th blow."

"That’s still incredible," replied Elliot. "I didn’t think the power would be so good with so few blows."

"Hahaha... My maximum has been 21 blows. That time, I had strength comparable to today. I think right now I could kill a powerful Master with that," Andrew boasted.

Having a skill like that that grew stronger with every blow was a blessing few enjoyed. He had every right to be proud.

"Let’s stop talking," he said suddenly. "I’ll help there, kid. Go help your girl." Andrew smiled and put the hammer on Elliot’s shoulder. "You have my blessing." He smiled and jumped once more to leave.

Elliot looked at him helplessly before going to help Jenna.

The lightning spells that continuously struck the surroundings were of no inconvenience to him.

He quickly approached and used his berserker summoning to break through the lightning spells. Feeling dazed was not like a berserker, so whatever sanity he might have had was completely lost, and he lunged at the guy who was throwing lightning bolts.

"GOAAH!" Unable to speak, he could only scream to express his anger as he swung his sword frantically at his opponent.

Jenna saw this and had to jump aside to dodge his attack, as he couldn’t tell who he was attacking.

Even so, with the arrival of the berserker, Elliot took Jenna’s place, standing next to his summon. Both attacked the magical swordsman.

But he defended himself with a quick attack on Elliot’s chest. The lightning bolts flew towards him at high speed, and the impact on his chest was meant to stun him.

It was too fast an attack to defend against.

But then the bolts that struck him met resistance. Some bounced off, and others kept trying to push through until they disintegrated.

’Are all these bastards wearing armor?’ The swordsman, Caesar, grew angry inside.

"Damn it, there’s no way you have protection on your neck too!"

Enduring the pain of the berserker’s attacks, he lunged forward with an extremely fast thrust at the neck.

But then, his hand was severed.

Jenna’s sword flashed before his eyes. He hadn’t forgotten her, but hadn’t expected to be attacked so soon, when she had jumped away.

He tried to move away, but a strange, dark magic spread from his wound to his entire body, preventing him from moving.

’Immobility?’

His mind trembled with fear. Only his gaze could keep up with his enemies, so he could see two sword attacks approaching him.

One toward his heart. The other toward his neck.

He struggled to move, but his body wouldn’t respond.

Soon, he was impaled.

He hung from Jenna’s sword that had pierced his chest, blood pouring from his mouth.

"...You... are strong..."

His body fell forward as Jenna and Elliot drew their swords, and those were his last words.

Another had died.

At least he had died quickly.

There was one in the arena who was now wishing he could die, but he couldn’t.

Elliot and Jenna nodded to each other. Then they went to help the rest of their companions.

Having disposed of four, the last three were easy pickings.

Leinan and Anne, Elliot’s cousins, also begged for mercy, but neither was heard. And Malcolm accepted his end without a word. He had his pride, and there was nothing to be done.

After a few minutes, the Combat Arena was littered with rolling heads, blood everywhere, and countless questions on the spectators’ faces.

Elliot didn’t take this seriously. The only person who mattered in his revenge today was the dying man lying on the arena.

He walked toward John once more.

"It seems you can’t take it anymore."

He grabbed John’s head and used his sword to stab him once more in the body. But there was no sound.

His life was slipping away, and although he felt pain as his body trembled, he was on his last legs.

"Tsk." He didn’t want to look at that ugly face anymore, so he cut off his head directly.

"I’ll send you to your family soon," he promised.

Immediately, two announcements popped up—one in the System and the other on the screen.

Both announced a winner.

[Angelic Wave wins]

Elliot’s summons returned to him, and his body felt relaxed.

Seven people remained standing on the arena. Seven lay sprawled on the ground.

It was a crushing victory that made many hearts tremble.

No one had known Elliot’s cruelty and coldness until today.

Everyone could see that when he cut off his head, he also felt disappointed. Was he disappointed that he couldn’t torture him anymore? How vicious could he be?

Some even thought of him as scum, ignoring the voices telling them that maybe John deserved it.

Others, who hated John, celebrated.

And for many, this match felt like a true final. Even though it was too one-sided. The revelations and combat strength displayed against the Masters made Angelic Wave look like a true colossus.

But it’s not that they were on the same level. They simply used their cunning fighting style and divided them, adding their numbers to finish them off. A simple strategy, but effective when you outnumber your opponents.
