This was the only artifact Kaiju didn’t use in the battle earlier as he did not want to sacrifice more artifacts–it wasn’t useful for him anyway, the finisher. Of course, it might have been useful for Snow, but he did not find a chance during the battle. In addition, he had to pierce his ear just to wear it.

Kaiju turned to Lucy and bowed slightly, "Thank you."

Ember said, "Thank you," followed by the other serpents, Lucy, and Little Gorilla being the last.

Lucy smiled and bowed at Little Gorilla’s blessings.

When she finally wore the earring, she created a mirror through mana and inspected it. "It’s really pretty," she mumbled.

Kaiju nodded and faced his back against her, finding a suitable spot to meditate. Everyone except Aqua followed suit.

When they sat in the lotus position and entered the meditative state, Lucy turned to Aqua sitting beside her arm and asked, "You won’t follow them?"

"There’s no hurry." Aqua shook his head. He stared at Lucy with sparkling eyes and said, "I want to know about you, first."

Lucy giggled, petted his head lovingly, and replied, "No problem."

Lucy, with Aqua on her shoulder, levitated upward and landed on a branch with a fair distance with Kaiju and the other serpents. After all, they wanted to guard them, but, at the same time, chatted a lot with each other.

Aqua appeared to have forgotten about Kaiju’s instructions and adapted quickly, building relationships with Lucy, who he couldn’t stop calling his master...
