Chapter 125: Kaiju Against The White Werewolf

Chapter 125: Kaiju Against The White Werewolf

Kaiju was surprised to discover that the elemental mana the black werewolf had affinity with was shadow. However, what he did not expect was what the black werewolf had said.

I should not be surprised. Kaiju shook his head and stared at the black werewolf, who was gazing at him with a mischievous smile.

He could sense Griffin was staring at him in silence. He wants me to deal with this dog, I guess. Kaiju grinned.

The black werewolf was aware there was no chance for Griffin and Kaiju to let go of the Epic grade artifacts. After all, the two Epic grade artifacts were what balanced the strength between the human and the werewolves race.

However, he was surprised by Kaiju’s response. He suddenly vanished and arrived behind him, slashing both of his daggers in an exquisite, swift manner.

He was a bit lost–cautious of Griffin’s movement for he was near him and now he has to turn his back against Griffin to parry Kaiju’s dagger. He gnashed his teeth and decided to parry Kaiju instead.

After all, Kaiju’s strength was no joke, it was backed by two Epic grade artifacts. Although he might have underestimated Griffin as the latter had not exposed his real power yet, he needed to parry Kaiju’s attack first.

He did not even need to signal for his girlfriend to make a move, as the latter disappeared and blinked behind Kaiju.

However, there was a hiss echoing in a far distance but then suddenly echoed in the middle of the white werewolf, who was swiping her sharp claws at Kaiju, ejecting icicle spines as a form of counterattack.

Kaiju’s eyes narrowed, staring at the smirking black werewolf, whose body was actually still facing Griffin, ready to block the latter’s attack.

Kaiju snorted and vanished once again, arriving in the middle of the white werewolf and Snow, parrying the claws.

Heavy! That might have been the heavy attack he parried ever since he acquired two Epic grade artifacts.

I was right to block this. Or else, Snow might have been in danger!

However, instead of worrying more, Kaiju was actually trembling with excitement. Finally, a worthy opponent to solidify my understanding of my current strength. I have to fight her for a while first.

He knew Griffin would understand his intention, so he could occupy the black werewolf while he was fighting the white werewolf.

Meanwhile, Snow’s icicle spines were ejected from her body and panicked. After all, the supposed target of the icicle spines was the white werewolf, but with her master blocking it, he would be attacked instead.

However, what he did not expect was for Kaiju to react swiftly, disappearing and appearing three meters away. At the same time, the white werewolf followed him as they battled for a long time.

Snow glanced at their silhouette, barely keeping up with their speed. That was when she realized she was saved by her master. If it was not for him appearing and blocking the sharp claws instead of her ejecting icicle spines, hoping to parry the claws, she might have been decimated in many ways.

Little Gorilla arrived beside him, and said, "What you did was dangerous. I do understand your desire to protect Master, but for now, we will be protected by him. Don’t be careless, Snow. You are a burden to him right now."

Snow growled and glared at Little Gorilla. When she saw Little Gorilla’s eyes filled with concern, she turned her head away and lowered it.

"I know," she mumbled in distress.

Little Gorilla sighed and said, "It’s a fact, Snow. Look. To participate on a battle at that stage is suicide for us. Right now, we must do our best to protect our Master in many ways he needs."

Snow glanced at the battle between her Master and the white werewolf and nodded.

She was surprised by the elemental mana the white werewolf used to condense her claws. It was ice mana. What was more depressing was how refined the mana condensation of the white werewolf–her mana concentration was sharp compared to what she could produce.

What Snow hated the most was to admit defeat and admire her enemy’s capabilities she was aiming to achieve.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm down her chaotic mind, and continued to observe the battle. She wanted to deny it but she was learning from the battle style of the white werewolf.

At this point, Kaiju and the white werewolf were using their skills, the latter was being wounded by Kaiju’s skills that produced another splitting image of him. That splitting image was not just a mere illusion, it carried half of Kaiju’s strength and some of his skills.

Meanwhile, to react with Kaiju’s intense attack, the white werewolf howled, entering another berserk stage while activating some of her skills–bite that was similar to Little Gorilla’s Holy Fang Strike, delayed image of her claws attacking similar to Kaiju’s Phantom Slash, to which he responded the same to parry it.

Their battle continued to intensify, causing Snow to not miss it with a single blink. Of course, she was keeping a check on the werewolves standing on a side, watching the battle of their leader against the human race.

They have been growling and complaining over the fact that two humans were able to fight against their two leaders individually. They were in complete disbelief.

Snow just grinned at them. For some reason, she felt relished by the fact that her master kept surprising their enemies–she and Little Gorilla were not an exception, either. That was why they did not regret following their Master and became his pets.

Furthermore, even if their Master would not be ridiculously strong as now, they would still continue to follow the person who changed their lives.

The battle did not last long. Ironically, they exhausted their stamina first before their mana points. Kaiju noticed how expert the white werewolf was when it came to her mana consumption.

It was like her mana consumption and mana recovery was balanced to the point it was difficult for her to completely spend her mana. Kaiju followed her style and he was exhilarated.

Of course, there were some pros and cons, but Kaiju was willing to explore it.
