Kenny Lin’s slight smile instantly froze, and his face turned icy as he glared at Seonho Ming.

"Seonho Ming, your actions are truly despicable," Jiae Yao taunted.

While Kenny Lin’s demeanor might not be the friendliest, he at least wouldn’t stab people in the back. Seonho Ming, however, had crossed the line, jeopardizing another person’s safety to save his own skin.

"Everyone acts for themselves, or the heavens will smite them," Seonho Ming sneered. "Don’t act like you’re so noble. You’re only taking this high road because your interests haven’t been threatened. If you were in my shoes, you’d make the same choice."

"Just because you’re shameless doesn’t mean others are, too. Seems like the Eternal One Sect doesn’t produce any decent people," Jiae Yao said, her gaze sweeping over Temujin Lei, who remained silent but seemed to endorse Seonho Ming’s actions.

"The top cultivators of Mystic Void Continent are all admirable figures. Someone who stoops this low will never reach those heights," Kailash Ren said, her voice laced with contempt. She had never liked disciples from the Eternal One Sect.

If Green Lotus Sect disciples were true gentlemen, then Eternal One Sect disciples were hypocrites cloaked in gentlemanly guise.

Nari Yin couldn’t understand why Jiae Yao and Kailash Ren were speaking up for Kenny Lin, especially after he’d just treated them with such an aloof attitude.

"Temujin Lei, do you know why Xinyue has never taken an interest in you? Maybe now you understand," Jiae Yao said, unveiling the mystery.
