Chapter 945: The Path of Ying and Yang And The Path of Chaos (Part 1)

As they turned around, they saw that disciples from other sects were already eager to enter. Numerous spiritual cultivators slowly flew into the Path of All Immortals, instantly appearing within it.

The disciples of the Green Lotus Sect bid farewell to their elders and entered the Path of All Immortals together.

Excluding those who had been eliminated, the Green Lotus Sect had fifteen disciples entering the Path of All Immortals this time, an increase from previous years. The other sects had similar numbers to before.

Once inside, Amalia thought they would immediately arrive, but instead, they found themselves in a white corridor where they had to continue forward. After a moment, they were transported to a plaza in front of the palace.

Amalia looked back toward the direction of the passage but couldn’t see the path that had brought them here. In front of her lay an empty space; beyond the plaza, everything was enveloped in a white haze.

"The Path of All Immortals itself exists in a different dimension, so space here is limited," Renshu Chang, who had managed to secure a few black tokens, joined them in entering the Path of All Immortals.

"Isn’t the Path of All Immortals an alternate dimension created after the War of the Immortals? A battlefield like this shouldn’t look so magnificent," Amalia thought it should be more of a wasteland.

"That’s why my Master suspects that there may still be immortals alive within the Path of All Immortals, although we don’t know in what way. If none remained, it wouldn’t be possible for this place to look as it does after the War of the Immortals. Just looking at this palace, it seems like something only humans could have crafted," Renshu Cahng explained. He knew the rules but wasn’t familiar with the internal structure of the Path of All Immortals.

More and more people entered the Path of All Immortals and quickly filling the plaza with disciples from various sects. They began moving toward the palace eagerly, with some even starting to push open the enormous door.

With a rough estimate, they gauged the door to be at least fifty meters high and thirty meters wide. The door was incredibly heavy, requiring the combined strength of many people to push it open.

Those who prided themselves on their strength stepped forward, having waited long enough.

With a creak, a narrow gap appeared in the massive door. Then, with little further effort, the door began to open on its own, eventually swinging wide open.

The cultivators scrambled inside, some people were unaware that treasures could not be accessed immediately upon entering the palace.

Once they charged in, the dim light revealed the truth: the palace, although it looked magnificent on the outside, was just an empty shell. The vast hall was devoid of any furnishings, filled only with hundreds of columns supporting the structure.

"Could these columns be made from some special material? If we could take them with us, this trip would be worth it," someone speculated, unwilling to leave empty-handed. They tried attacking one of the supporting columns, only to be struck back by the force rebounding from it.

"Idiot. If these support pillars were really made of some special material, do you think they’d let you just take them?" another sneered.

After passing through the hollow palace, they encountered another door—old, worn, and entirely lacking in beauty or intricacy. It was covered in rust, marked by traces left from various magic weapon, and stained with ancient blood that had long since dried. At this moment, they finally felt as if they were standing on a battlefield.

A battlefield is a place of despair and cruelty. All beauty here was but a deceptive illusion, making them painfully aware of the true nature of war.

In stark contrast to the earlier magnificence, the desolation and harshness that greeted them here created a deep sense of dissonance. The trial had, in fact, already begun.

As they pushed open this door, etched with history, a chill of desolate abandonment struck them.

Looking up, the heavenly paths were now within sight—those grand, sky-reaching paths they had seen from the outside, suspended in mid-air.

"Are these the paths that the immortals of the Era of All Immortals cultivated on?" Amalia wondered aloud, gazing at the vast sky and those paths that stretched out before them like stairways to the heavens.

"It seems we can go up from here."

Just then, someone who are unable to hold back any longer, flew up. But before reaching even ten meters off the ground, they fell right back down.

"There’s resistance in the air; only those who can withstand it can proceed."

This was a test for those who sought to inherit the path. Only by passing this trial could they continue onward.

Learning from the previous person’s failure, the other cultivators ascended cautiously. The gravity bearing down on them wasn’t as difficult to resist as they’d feared.

Fortunately, this trial wasn’t too challenging, and everyone eventually made it to the top.

"I’ll go ahead!" declared a sword cultivator. The moment he landed, he darted toward a path in the middle.

This was the Path of the Sword, it’s rumored to be the very path that the legendary Master Lian had once walked.

As he was about to enter the Path of the Sword, a flash of light suddenly appeared, and it was as if he had hit an invisible wall. He was instantly thrown backward.

"What happened?" Amalia frowned, perplexed.

"To enter the Path of the Sword, you must possess enough tokens. Otherwise, you’ll have to rely on the path itself to choose you. If it doesn’t, you have no choice but to give up," Renshu Chang explained. "This person likely didn’t have enough tokens, which is why he was rejected by the Path of the Sword."

Following the paths with his gaze, Kenny Lin noticed two unusual paths before the Path of the Sword.

In front of the Path of the Sword, there was a path marked by two tightly closed doors, one black and one white.
