Chapter 932: The Clash of Titans

As they spoke, Kenny Lin stepped forward from the crowd and pointed a finger at Seonho Ming. "You. Step up. I accept your challenge."

"You’re choosing me? Too scared to choose Temujin Lei because he’d kill you?" Seonho Ming retorted.

"Him?" Kenny Lin raised an elegant brow. "He’s not even at the Deity Transformation stage yet. He can’t kill me. I didn’t pick him because I want him to see just how big the gap is."

And truthfully, Amalia was interested in Temujin Lei, who, like her, cultivated the Eight Gods Blade. Temujin Lei was probably eager to take it from her.

"You’ll pay for your arrogance!" Seonho Ming stepped forward, his cultivation level also at the peak Soul Formation stage, like Temujin Lei, though he slightly less skilled. He knew Kenny Lin picked him, likely believing he was weaker.

The two of them faced off in the center of the battle ring, surrounded by onlookers, all watching without blinking.

The final challenge’s winner was still unknown, but this fight would reveal the strength of Green Lotus Sect’s elite versus Seonho Ming.

Worst case, if Seonho Ming lost, everyone could observe Kenny Lin’s skill and power.

Holding his sword, Kenny Lin caused a sudden gust of wind to spiral around him. His robes billowed like waves crashing on rocks, and with one slash, the lingering mist split into two as if torn apart.

Seonho Ming, failing to sense anything extraordinary about the slash, smirked, thinking it was just a warm-up from his opponent.

"He wants to see what a mid Soul Formation stage cultivator could possibly do to beat him."

Seonho Ming immediately drew his blade, slashing forward without hesitation. A fierce blade light surged upward, tearing apart the spirit energy in the air as it ferociously struck toward Kenny Lin.

In the blink of an eye, sword light and blade light collided in the air, with a thunderous boom that intensified the storm around them, pushing energy in every direction.

Suddenly, a faint cracking sound echoed through the chaotic air.

The seemingly matched sword light suddenly released a weaker glow that overpowered Seonho Ming’s blade light, surging toward him like a tiger’s roar.

"This can’t be. Did I miscalculate?" Seonho Ming’s heart raced, and for a moment, he instinctively took a step back, but he quickly stopped himself.

If he backed down now, it would seem like he was admitting defeat. He was two minor levels higher than his opponent, and retreating, even in victory, would only lead to ridicule.

Realizing his mistake, Seonho Ming hurriedly swung his blade again, managing to counter Kenny Lin’s sword light.

He understood his advantage well, and before the smoke cleared, he suddenly vanished from sight.

"Seonho Ming’s attacking now," Jirandai Tang noted, his eyes narrowed.

"As expected from the Eternal One Sect’s top talent—he reacted quickly," Taeseon Lei commented objectively.

"Yeah," Jirandal Tang hesitated. "That sword strike seemed different. If Kenny Lin started with a big move, I’m not sure how he’ll hold up later."

"We can’t intervene now," Taeseon Lei said calmly. "If we lose both gold tokens, we’ll figure out a way to reclaim them. Let’s just do what we can for now."

While they spoke, Seonho Ming had already charged toward Kenny Lin, slashing at him furiously, each strike like a rapid rainstorm, filling the air with the clash of sword and blade.

Their silhouettes flashed across the sky, colliding violently as sword light and blade light intertwined, creating sparks that scattered everywhere.

The onlookers’ amused expressions gradually turned serious.

"Is Seonho Ming not going all out?" one of the young talents hesitantly asked.

"I think so too. If he were, he wouldn’t be at a stalemate. Does he still think Eternal One Sect has two chances?" Wonji Hong from the Nine Cauldron Sect said, frowning.

"If neither side goes all out, there won’t be a clear winner. But they’re not stupid," Dongjian Zhao from the Demonic Night Palace laughed. "If Seonho Ming used all his strength now and failed, wouldn’t he just be helping you all?"

Some gave him a cold glance, clearly displeased. The Demonic Night Palace had a bad reputation due to their unscrupulous practices. They rarely crossed any clear lines, but everyone knew about their shady dealings.

Just as people were discussing, the two figures clashing mid-air suddenly separated, as if thrown apart. Kenny Lin’s handsome face held a hint of seriousness as he absorbed the surrounding spirit energy, his sword beginning to emit a faint hum.

Seonho Ming’s tense expression relaxed when he saw this; it seemed he wasn’t the only one feeling the pressure.

Suspended in the air and standing against the wind, Kenny Lin’s black robe billowed loudly. Suddenly, he threw his sword into the sky.

The sword floated in the air, trembling with a sudden brilliance, and as the light dimmed, countless sword lights appeared around him.

The sword lights gave off a terrifying aura; even though they just floated there silently, anyone watching felt their skin crawl.

Seonho Ming gasped. He could sense that his opponent was finally going all out.

"Temujin Lei isn’t the only one who cultivates the Eight Gods Blade."

The Eight Gods Blade was one of the most powerful and intense techniques of the Eternal One Sect. Almost all the geniuses had learned it, except those who either didn’t qualify or couldn’t endure the searing pain from the blade’s energy coursing through them.

"I have to win this fight!" Seonho Ming vowed in his heart, his spiritual energy began to surging wildly. The energy around him formed swirling vortices that eas powerful enough to make sand and stones fly everywhere if not for the barrier enclosing them.

The onlookers who are caught in the fierce wind, could hardly keep their eyes open, and could only sense the two cultivators with their spiritual sense.

The sky turned gray, and dark clouds gathered above. Under the dark clouds, both of them were preparing their strongest moves at the same time.
