Chapter 546: Ying-Yang Pearl (Part 2)

This high-level mutated creature, unaware that Amalia was behind the disturbance.

They thought the array itself was acting up.

After cursing, it began searching for an exit, not noticing the transparent current of water wrapping around it.

Before the mutated creature realized what was happening, it was bound by a thick, rope-like stream of water and its limbs twisted at unnatural angles.

The violent winds attacked it from all sides and quickly leaving no part of its body unscathed.

Feeling terrified, the creature tried to break free when a blade of light pierced through its heart.

Amalia, who had been hiding in the shadows, finally revealed herself.

The water rope turned back into normal seawater, releasing the mutated creature’s body, which slowly sank into the depths.

Without looking back, Amalia moved on to strangle the remaining high-level mutated creatures, using the same method to eliminate the rest of them.

By the time the last one realized something was wrong, it was too late.

Amalia who is reeking of blood, emerged from the array to see countless marine-type mutated creatures attacking Zanilia Zhao and Nicholas Sabate.

These two people, keeping their promise, did not let a single marine-type mutated creature cross the line.

The marine-type mutated creatures kept swimming down from above, and Amalia lured another batch into the array.

The water within the array turned murky again, obscuring the inside from view.

The new mutated creatures, unaware that the previous wave had perished there, started to search for the enemy, only to be scattered by newly replenished violent currents.

With the chaotic energy continuously being absorbed from the spatial rift, Amalia’s strangulation array was like an inexhaustible killing machine.

After several probing waves fell silent, the remaining mutated creatures hesitated to move forward.

Some creatures reported the underwater situation to the Goblashark.

The male Goblashark that was entangled by the Calamar, couldn’t free itself but had to follow their king’s orders.

Amidst the chaos, a voice transmitted through the water.

"I’ll go."

"Aipysk? When did you get here?" the male Goblashark asked, noticing the Aipysk.

The Aipysk’s body was much smaller than the male Goblashark’s, but after mutating, it had grown considerably larger.

Most importantly, the Aipysk hailed from the deep sea and was extremely predatory.

"When I arrived is not important. The enemies are underwater, right?" the Aipysk opened its mouth, revealing a set of transparent, sharp fangs.

"The humans are sabotaging our king’s plans. They have angered the king. Eliminating them would be a great achievement," the male Goblashark explained.

"Got it," the Aipysk replied in a raspy, sinister voice.

"With me here, you won’t go down," the Calamar blocked their way.

The male Goblashark was unimpressed, "You are strong, but stopping both of us won’t be easy."

"Then I’ll go first. Don’t die too quickly. After I deal with the humans, I’ll come back to help you," the Aipysk’s voice was eerie, like an old man’s, with a low, sinister laugh.

"No need," the male Goblashark frowned.

Unable to defeat the Calamar, the Aipysk was eager to claim credit before the king.

If not for the Calamar’s persistence, the male Goblashark would have gone down himself, as it was a significant achievement.

The Calamar tried to stop the Aipysk, but the latter was incredibly fast, diving into the water before anyone could catch him.

The Calamar knew that to pursue the Aipysk, it first had to deal with the male Goblashark.

The male Goblashark was a formidable opponent, and defeating him wasn’t easy.

The Calamar could only send signals for nearby allies to intercept the Aipysk, buying the humans below some time.

Although the Calamar didn’t know what the humans were doing underwater, the disappearance of the surface whirlpool indicated that they had temporarily controlled the expansion of the spatial rift.

At this point, the marine-type mutated creatures needed to put in some effort as well.

"I’ll go," the Abyssard volunteered without hesitation.

"I’ll go too," the Pyrosplash said, seeing the wounded Abyssard’s bravery, and jumped into the water.

The two fish dove into the sea, creating huge splashes.

The Aipysk swam incredibly fast, and before long, the Abyssard and Pyrosplash lost sight of him.

Soon, the Aipysk arrived near the spatial rift.

Some marine-type mutated creatures noticed him and tried to attack, but the Aipysk quickly bit them in half.

Amalia suddenly looked up.

"What’s wrong?"

Zanilia Zhao, noticing her unusual expression, retreated to her side.

"It seems a more powerful mutated creature has come down. Be careful; I’ll go check it out," Amalia said before returning to the vicinity of the array.

There were still some marine-type mutated creatures within the strangulation array, but they weren’t very strong.

Amalia let them wander inside; most of them died before finding a way out.

Amalia replaced the murky water in the strangulation array with clear, clean seawater, making it look ordinary.

She stood opposite the array, quietly waiting for the high-level mutated creature.

After dealing with the obstructing marine-type mutated creatures, the Aipysk approached the strangulation array, sensing the presence of a human from afar.

Opening its sharp, menacing teeth, it smelled the intense scent of blood in the air.

"Seems like a troublesome human," the Aipysk chuckled sinisterly.

Amalia heard a faint sound wave but couldn’t identify its source.

Her pet, Wealth, shrank back, looking worriedly at her.

The new high-level mutated creature was very strong.

Amalia understood and patted Wealth’s head, giving it a high-level crystal core, "Don’t worry, I know what to do."

Her advantage in the sea was less apparent, but with the strangulation array as an aid, she should be able to handle a typical high-level mutated creature.

She soon sensed the high-level mutated creature entering the array.

It did so easily, as if aware of the trap.

Seeing the opponent’s confidence, Amalia calmly entered the array as well.

Once inside, she took out her crystal core-type spiritual artifact and replaced the crystal core with a new one.

After locating the Aipysk, she didn’t rush over but used the array for cover and to probe her opponent.
