Chapter 306: Spiritual Artifact For Mr and Mrs. Vanquez (Part 1)

After the Lumina Scale Komodo had finished digesting its "triplets" and rested, it quickly realized its cultivation level had increased.

Its shiny black eyes immediately glanced at the tightly closed door of Amalia’s room, and it eagerly crawled down from the sofa, dragging its tail, and ran into the kitchen.

There was no trace of smoke in the kitchen, the stove had been turned off, and the scent of grilled fish had long been dissipated.

Amalia didn’t leave any Crimson Thunder Piranha meat inside; and it wouldn’t be able to eat it raw even if it wanted to.

The Lumina Scale Komodo tilted its head for a while, and then dragged its tail to Amalia’s room door.

It then sat down, and prepared to squat there until Amalia came out.

Its stomach grumbled countless times, and the Lumina Scale Komodo couldn’t count anymore by just using its fingers.

It started off sitting, but now it lay flat on the ground, with its limbs occasionally twitching for time to time.

Unaware of the little one’s impatiently waiting outside, Amalia finally managed to refine the artifact before the sun went down.

As she opened the door, she almost stepped on the Lumina Scale Komodo.

Hearing the door opening, the Lumina Scale Komodo instantly revived.

It then grabbing onto her pant leg and agilely climbing up.

Its claws scratched at her upper body anxiously, it’s not causing pain but only a slight itch.

"What are you doing?" Amalia picked it up.

The Lumina Scale Komodo pointed to her hand, then to its own mouth, and licked its lips, making a drooling expression.

Was it still asking for Crimson Thunder Piranha meat?

Amalia could guessed it, but since there was plenty of Crimson Thunder Piranha meat left, even eating it for a year wouldn’t be enough for her alone.

Seeing Amalia heading to the kitchen, the Lumina Scale Komodo swiftly climbed onto her shoulder.

This time, it didn’t gulp down the whole food; but instead, it digested each piece as it ate.

"Hmm?"

Amalia suddenly felt the surge energy emanating from it and realized it was actually absorbing the energy from the spirit meat.

Could the Lumina Scale Komodo still level up?

She had always thought its size was already fixed.

Knowing this, she didn’t restrict it anymore.

As long as it could digest well, it didn’t matter how much it ate.

After feeding it fifteen or sixteen pieces in a row, the energy saturation on the Lumina Scale Komodo’s body reached its limit.

It couldn’t eat anymore, it feeling too full and unstable on its feet.

It wobbled and finally sat back, the whole body soft and lying limp on the marble platform.

Amalia picked it up and brought it to her own room.

She felt more at ease having it under her watch, not knowing what might happen when it leveled up.

However, nothing happened overnight.

The Lumina Scale Komodo’s leveling up seemed to be just a matter of sleeping.

Perhaps due to overeating, it even snored a little.

Though the sound was faint, Amalia, being sensitive to noise, couldn’t sleep all night.

The next day, the fully-fed Lumina Scale Komodo rolled over and slowly crawled up.

The energy fluctuation on its body had disappeared.

Amalia had stared at it all night but couldn’t tell whether it had successfully leveled up or what differences there were after success.

Its size remained the same, without any changes, so she gave up.

"I’m going out today. Do you want to stay in the villa by yourself, or come with me? If you come with me, you mustn’t make any noise, or else there will be no more spirit meat for you in the future," Amalia said after feeding it.

The Lumina Scale Komodo almost didn’t hesitate; it sat on the ground, indicating it wanted to stay.

Amalia pinched it lightly, "Clever little thing."

It must have seen the spirit meat she left in the kitchen.

"Then stay here. Your range of activities is limited to this villa. You can’t go out. If there are outsiders coming in, hide and don’t let anyone see you," Amalia instructed.

Although the villa was safe, she wasn’t sure if it was absolutely safe.

The Lumina Scale Komodo nodded it’s head obediently.

Amalia rewarded it with a pat on its head, then remembered something before leaving.

She sent a message to Kenny Lin.

"Your son Wealth has been level up."

When Kenny Lin chased away yet another challenger, he heard a new message coming through his communicator.

As soon as he opened it, he saw a message from Amalia.

"Your daughter Wealth has leveled up."

Kenny Lin’s hand trembled slightly, and his exquisitely handsome face revealed a complex expression.

Son?

They even had a son now?

Amalia didn’t aware with the potential of someone being misunderstood with her words.

She had already arrived at the military compound and met with his parents, Mr. Vanquez and Mrs. Vanquez.

Having received advance notice of her arrival, Mrs. Vanquez had prepared pastries for her.

"Mom, I’ve refined an artifact for you and Dad."

"There’s no rush for that," Amalia was just about to speak when Mrs. Vanquez interrupted her, "You’ve been working hard lately. Take a break. Here, these are the pastries I made. They used to be your favorite. See if my cooking skills have deteriorated."

Amalia who was gently pressed into a chair by them, feeling warm in her heart.

She tasted a piece.

"How is it? Your mother’s cooking skills are still good, aren’t they?" Mr. Vanquez also came over, and happily watching his daughter eating the pastries.

"It’s pretty good," Amalia swallowed the sticky pastry in her mouth without expression.

"If it’s good, then have another piece." Mr. Vanquez picked up another piece and offered it to her.

Amalia didn’t take it, "Dad, you have it. My taste has changed a little bit. I don’t really like sweet things anymore."

"Not sweet?" Mr. Vanquez remarked naturally as he took a bite.
