Chapter 305: Advanced Level Amulet (Part 2)
A flicker of surprise passed over Instructor Waldo’s face, then he said regretfully, "Advanced level Amulets, huh? You’re a litle bit late. All the recent Advanced level Amulets have been sold out."
"What do you mean by ’sold out’?" Amalia asked.
"It means someone had bought a large quantity of Advanced level Amulets and the school’s stock has been depleted. Advanced level Amulets aren’t something you can just easily produce. So, they might not be available for a while," explained Instructor Waldo, regretting his decision to sell all of them after hearing Amalia also need then.
Amalia remembered something.
When Kenny Lin’s incident happened, she once saw a post on the school forum about someone who buying Amulets in large quantities.
It turned out to be that.
"As for Elite level Amulets, there are even fewer of those; they’re already scarce," Instructor Waldo added, while shaking his head.
"I understand. Thank you, Instructor. If you come across any Advanced level or Elite level Amulets, please let me know," she said.
"No problem," Instructor Waldo replied with a smile.
"By the way, the artifacts you sold to the school have been sold. The buyer was very satisfied with them and asked when we would have more of the same quality. If you have any surplus, we can negotiate the price."
Amalia understood this principle, "I haven’t had any new Artifact recently, but when I do, I’ll remember to inform you, Instructor."
Leaving the business department, she then visited a few more places.
Like Instructor Waldo mentioned, all the Advanced level Amulets were sold out.
Those who had surplus choose to kept them for their own use, and regardless of the offer, no one was willing to sell them.
Amalia had used up all of the Advanced level Amulets she had.
She had intended to stock up on more, but she hadn’t expected to encounter this situation.
"Amalia?" Lucia Lopes was also here to buy Amulets, but she hadn’t expected to run into her.
When she saw Amalia, it reminded her with her continues defeats, and leaving her with an indescribably complex mood.
Lucia Lopes couldn’t pretend not to see her, especially since Amalia was also looking at her direction.
So she approached her and asked, "Are you here to buy Amulets too?"
"Yeah, but all the Advanced level Amulets have been bought up," Amalia replied.
Lucia Lopes was surprised, "Bought up? Who has nothing better to do than spend so much money buying up all Advanced level Amulets?"
Amalia also had no idea.
Thinking it over, Lucia Lopes said, "Advanced level Amulets are alusually used as a reserve. They wouldn’t sell out it so easily unless the buyer offered an exceptionally high price."
Amalia didn’t understand, "Why would someone spend such a high price just to buying up all Advanced level Amulets?"
Lucia Lopes also found it puzzling, "I don’t know. This situation is a little bit unusual. I don’t have much need for Advanced level Amulets myself. If you want to buy them, you might have to take a look outside. There are plenty of opportunities outside, but the quality isn’t guaranteed like the one at school."
Amalia nodded, "I understand. Can Elite level Amulets be bought outside too?"
"I’m not entirely sure about that. But I can ask my brother; he’s more knowledgeable about these things. He might know. I’ll ask him and let you know," Lucia Lopes said.
"Thanks. I’ll take my leave then. We can exchange insights another day," Amalia said.
Lucia Lopes’s expression suddenly became complicated,"Exchanging insights? I’ll consider it when I’m in the mood. I haven’t been in the mood lately."
Amalia chuckled lightly, "Alright."
Back at the villa, Amalia took out the Lumina Scale Komodo from her embrace.
She had noticed the little guy scratching her chest earlier when she was outside.
Kenny Lin had once warned it that it shouldn’t make any noise when there were outsiders around, otherwise it would be thrown back into the Disaster Zone.
Since then, this little creature would stay quiet as a mouse whenever it was outside.
It only couldn’t help but scratch people when it was hungry.
Amalia took out a piece of spirit meat from her Soltice Ring.
It was the meat of a Crimson Thunder Piranha, which Kenny Lin had given her in one of his storage items.
Several of those items were filled with Crimson Thunder Piranha, making him suspect whether Kenny Lin had emptied out all the Crimson Thunder Piranha.
Upon seeing Amalia preparing to barbecue the meat, the Lumina Scale Komodo immediately followed her, and moving silently even when landing on the ground.
When the aroma of the grilled fish meat wafted from the kitchen, it sniffed with its nose and drooled, and its saliva dripping onto the floor.
Amalia turned around to see its foolish appearance.
She placed the grilled fish meat onto a plate, and the Lumina Scale Komodo immediately leaped from the ground onto the table, eagerly chomping it down.
The fish meat melted in its mouth, and it incredibly so delicious.
Amalia had barely grilled one piece before it vanished into this guy stomach.
She grilled ten pieces in succession, all of which were devoured by it.
Its belly soon swelled like it was pregnant with triplets.
Afraid of overfeeding it, Amalia didn’t let it eat an eleventh piece and grilled two for herself.
Seeing that she really wouldn’t give it more, the Lumina Scale Komodo scurried to the sofa, with it bulging belly, and lay down with all four limbs up in the air like a lord.
When it acted foolishly like this, it really looked like it’s owner.
Seeing it peacefully nap, Amalia ignored it and closed the door to refine some artifacts.
She had promised to her parents to refine two artifacts for them.
All the materials were already prepared.
Over a month ago, she could refine pseudo-spiritual artifacts, and now, over a month later, she was confident she could refine spiritual artifacts directly.
