Chapter 177: Rumor (Part 1)

Kenny Lin seemed to catch her thoughts, "The previous form of the new disaster zone was called sweet cherry city, it was a tier 5 city."

A tier 5 cities is a city with slower development in various aspects compared to larger cities and inconvenient transportation, which presented a clear distinction.

It wasn’t surprising they fell so swiftly.

However, it also indicated that the monsters within the disaster zone were significantly powerful.

According to the records, the quicker an area fell into disaster, the higher the danger within.

"Be careful," Amalia couldn’t help but advise him.

Kenny Lin nodded gently, "...Do you need any materials?"

Surprised by his proactive offer, Amalia paused before responding, "Anything will do. But safety is first. With my current abilities, I don’t need top-tier materials."

She remembered the chunk of meat and the fur and claws from some kind of monster that black-clothed Kenny Lin had given her during their last meeting.

Later, she researched at the library, and discovered that this type of monster only existed in A-class disaster zones, and it was one of the most formidable monster in the A-class disaster zone.

It was easy to imagine the immense effort of the black-clothed Kenny Lin put into killing those monster, Amalia thought to herself wishfully.

After ending their conversation, Amalia put away the communication device and left.

Heading straight to the training room, she delved in and lost track of time, and only come out again in the next morning.

Amalia returned to the school’s Business Department.

Having spent a considerable sum of monry during her last visit, Instructor Cornel, was quiet familiar with her.

Assuming she was there to make another purchase, and considering the substantial amount she bought last time, Instructor Cornel couldn’t fathom how she could have already used up everything in just a few days.

Nonetheless, without dwelling on it, he greeted her warmly, "What would you like to buy this time?"

"I’m not here to buy. I’m here to sell artifacts. Do you accept them?" Amalia straightforwardly placed an artifact on the counter.

Instructor Cornel was taken aback but it wasn’t the first time a student had come to the Business Department to sell items.

He quickly composed himself, and cautioning her, "Before you proceed, you should understand the policies of the Business Department. Although we do buy students’ artifacts and amulets, we don’t accept ones with poor quality."

"I understand," Amalia nodded.

"Alright then," Instructor Cornel also nodded.

He feared some students who weren’t aware of the procedures would rush in and inconvenience him with explanations.

Having encountered that kind of situation often, he preferred keeping things brief whenever possible.

Instructor Cornel summoned another Instroctor that was called Instructor Larson, he’s an artificer, who was more accurate in assessing the quality of artifacts.

Instructor Larso, at the sight of Amalia’s artifact, was immediately drawn to its exquisite appearance.

However, many students that refined the artifacts were more about appearance than its function, so an excellent external appearance wasn’t the sole criterion for evaluation.

Artifacts are generally evaluated based on their spiritual aura and inscriptions.

The higher the spiritual aura, the better the quality of the artifact.

Similarly, a higher output rate of inscriptions signifies a superior of the artifact.

Instructor Larson initially assumed the student was an ordinary artificer from the artifact refining Class.

However, as his spiritual energy roamed within the artifact, his expression shifted from casual to gradually serious.

When he withdrew his spiritual energy, he immediately nodded to Instructor Cornel.

"An Advanced level artifact that exceptionally refined, with a Level 3 inscription and two Level 2 inscriptions, with a spiritual aura reaching six."

The spiritual aura scale ranges from one to nine, with nine being the highest.

Presently, most artificer’s artifacts range between levels two to five.

Any artifact surpassing level five is considered exceptionally good.

They were unaware that this was when Amalua restrained herself; otherwise, she could elevate the spiritual aura even further.

"My estimated valuation is 37 million," Instructor Larson hesitated, not because the price was too low but whether he might undervalue it.

Advamced level artifacts typically range from 20 to 30 million in the market, with prices exceeding 30 million being relatively rare.

"Since Instructor Larson suggests 37 million, thrn it’ll be 37 million. Would this student agree with the price?" Instructor Cornel asked Amalia calmly, while masking his internal surprise.

Amalia nodded under the gaze of both Instructor.

The offered price exceeded her expectations.

Rather than searching for buyers elsewhere, she decided to sell it to the school since she was in need of money.

After selling the artifact, she used the money she earned to purchase a heap of spiritual meat and refining materials, spending several million in the blink of an eye.

Anticipating that if the artifact was indeed refined by the student herself, her future achievements might not fall short of Rasler Yoder, a first-year representative, both Instructor Cornel and Larson decided to give her a discount.

Amalia returned to her dom with a full load and went to class in the afternoon.

However, she found out that the students who passed by her on the road would turn around and looking at her.

The student who turned back to look at her initially gave Amalia a strange look, anf then turned away and began whispering to the person beside them.

This situation didn’t diminish as Amalia entered the artifact refining class; instead, it increased.

Usually, Isabella Xiao would come over as soon as she entered the classroom, but this time, she didn’t.

She stood with her back to her, and chatting lively with her other friends.

As if they hadn’t noticed her arrival.

However, one of her companions suddenly glanced back at Amalia and whispered something to Isabella Xiao.

After that, Amalia didn’t pay attention to what they did next.

Amalia casually found a seat.

Suddenly, two of students in the front row picked up their things and moved to the first few rows, with one of them said sarcasticly before leaving.
