Chapter 1157: Return to Lumora
Chapter 1157: Return to Lumora
He had thought about this possibility too.
They hadn’t even taken full control of the Andromeda Universe yet—so why was General Aelra already in such a rush to tear apart their alliance?
"My lord, should we retaliate against Aelra?"
The Prince of Doomsday sneered. "My people are not so easily killed."
Roberdyck immediately understood. "I’ll see to it at once."
He gave a small nod before leaving.
Three days later, the massive Planet Noctis turned into nothing more than a black speck and disappearing entirely from the cosmos.
That colossal energy planet vanished before Officer Khan’s very eyes—without leaving behind even a trace of a black hole.
Amalia returned to the cosmic battleship, storing an enormous amount of energy into all twelve of the battleship’s energy storage chambers and filling them to maximum capacity in one go.
With this, the battleship’s energy reserves returned to their peak levels—just like when it had first launched.
When they had seized this battleship, more than eight of its energy storage units had already been depleted.
Multiple space jumps had drained an immense amount of energy.
Otherwise, the reserves would have lasted much longer.
Even after replenishing the energy storage chambers, Amalia still had a vast amount of energy stored in her small world.
Her small world had absorbed seventy percent of Planet Noctis’s energy.
The remaining thirty percent was still an immense quantity—enough to refill the battleship’s storage multiple times over.
"What was that explosion earlier?" Only after finishing her tasks did Amalia have time to ask.
Officer Khan quickly summarized the situation. "Knowing how petty the Prince of Doomsday is, he’s definitely going to seek revenge on Aelra."
However, the battleship was in their hands now—meaning the Prince of Doomsday would undoubtedly come after them instead.
Amalia nodded. "That’s not important. We’ll return to Planet Lumora first. We’ll deal with the rest later."
Officer Khan took a silent breath.
This was true strength.
Even the Prince of Doomsday—feared across the cosmos—had become an insignificant detail in Amalia’s eyes.
"Understood. I’ll have the crew prepare for a space jump immediately. With our current resources, we should be able to jump farther than before. Even if the warship takes damage, we have the means to repair it."
After they finished discussing, Khalil secretly approached Amalia and whispering about something Kenny Lin had asked earlier.
"I have this feeling that Mr. Kenny wants to go there by himself..."
As soon as Amalia heard it, she immediately understood what the drama king was up to. "It’s only a matter of time. There’s no way he can sneak off alone, so just ignore him."
"Alright."
Khalil felt reassured upon hearing this.
Ms. Amalia always gave people a sense of security.
Although Mr. Kenny was incredibly powerful, his way of handling things often left others uneasy.
Not long after the cosmic battleship left the area, in the vast expanse of space tens of thousands of miles from the original location of Planet Noctis, a dense, black mist-like mass began moving toward a nearby planet.
Anyone who saw it would quickly realize that this black mist was actually made up of an unfathomably large swarm of Space Insectoid creatures.
They wriggled and advanced through space, numbering in the tens of billions.
Although many Space Insects perished and fell along the way, the swarm showed no reaction, as if they felt nothing.
At the very center of the swarm, a massive mass of flesh writhed grotesquely.
The Space insectoids clung to it protectively, seemingly afraid that it might come to harm.
When they finally reached their target planet and descended onto its surface, the swarm dispersed, revealing the true form of that enormous mass of flesh.
It was none other than an Space Insectoid Queen.
Although not as massive as the one Amalia had previously disintegrated, it was still an imposing and formidable sight to humans.
After two space jumps, the cosmic battleship accurately reappeared near Planet Lumora.
The moment the battleship emerged, spatial ripples spread outward, immediately detected by Planet Lumora’s monitoring systems.
For a moment, Major General Rafiq and his officers almost thought another cosmic battleship had arrived.
During this time, the battleship received another transmission from an alien royal, once again pressing for an update on the mission’s progress.
Amalia simply responded that the task was complete and ignored the royal thereafter.
She wasn’t concerned about what would happen once the lie was exposed—sooner or later, their conflict with the Prince of Doomsday would be discovered anyway.
The cosmic battleship remained hidden in space while they piloted several smaller ships down to Planet Lumora.
Upon learning of their return, Major General Rafiq personally led his officers to welcome them.
"Major General Rafiq, there’s no need for formalities. How are the preparations going?"
Amalia got straight to the point upon seeing him.
As a soldier, Major General Rafiq appreciated her decisiveness. He couldn’t help but comment, "Ms. Amalia, you seem more like a soldier than we do."
Amalia let out a small laugh. "Is that so?"
"You’ve been gone for over a month, but we’ve nearly completed our preparations. We’ve relocated and settled the inhabitants of several planets. There hasn’t been any alien interference during this time," Major General Rafiq reported. "However, we did receive news—I’m sure Officer Khan and his team have already informed you—there’s a high chance of a large-scale war breaking out in the Erythar Star System."
"Yes, I’ve heard about it," Amalia nodded.
"That means the aliens are likely occupied elsewhere. As long as nothing unexpected happens, Planet Lumora should be safe. We’re ready to move out and fight at any time."
Before Amalia could respond, the neat rows of Cosmorite Mechas standing in the plaza suddenly performed a synchronized action.
"Welcome, Ms. Amalia! Welcome, Mr. Kenny!"
Their movements were precise, as if they had undergone extensive training.
Ten thousand Cosmorite Mechas saluted in unison, creating a grand and imposing spectacle.
Their booming voices carried far and wide.
In the outskirts of various cities, curious residents peeked out to see what was happening.
