Chapter 1135: The Tide Turns

"Additionally, the aliens in the control room have already been killed by my partner. This battleship is now unmanned. Get familiar with its systems as soon as possible. He’ll teach you, and then we’ll head to the nearest planet, Lumora," Amalia instructed.

The group stood there, utterly dumbfounded by the barrage of soul-shaking revelations.

Overwhelmed by the constant shocks, their expressions eventually dulled into numbness as they blankly followed the orders.

As Khalil turned away, he suddenly came to his senses and he hesitating before saying, "Let’s not release the humans in the lower levels just yet. They might not be able to handle the reality all at once. It’d be better to wait until we resolve the situation on the other planets. Otherwise, we’d have to waste resources explaining things to them."

Among the aliens, there were some who bore an appearance nearly identical to humans.

If the imprisoned humans doubted them and believed it to be an alien trick, it could create unnecessary complications.

"Well, up to you," Amalia agreed.

Meanwhile, the aliens engaged in bloody battles on four planets were enduring unspeakable misery.

Piloting the Mechas, the humans vastly outclassed the alien troops.

It wasn’t long before the alien mechas had their arms and legs torn off.

As for the aliens without Cosmorite Mechas, while their individual strength was still formidable, they could no longer easily annihilate human pilots in mechas.

Several high-ranking human commanders noticed that two alien captains had been pinned down by the beast puppets.

Instead of aiding their comrades, they turned their focus to the alien army, which had dwindled to just over 20,000.

They aimed to kill as many as possible while they had the upper hand.

"Damn it! Why hasn’t there been any news from the battleship?" Rynis cursed while dodging wildly as a beast puppet pursued him.

He had never felt so humiliated in his life.

Tirok’s face had turned visibly pale; his mecha was on the verge of collapse.

Just then, a massive shadow descended upon Lumora.

Everyone looked up to see an enormous battleship that was as large as a moving planet, suddenly appearing in the sky.

The human commanders and soldiers, along with the Lumora residents who had clung to faint hope for victory, were instantly filled with despair at the sight of the colossal alien battleship.

The aliens, who had barely managed to survive the grueling war up to this point, collectively let out a sigh of relief.

Just when the aliens thought their reinforcements had finally arrived with the massive spaceship, little did they know that the cannons on the battleship were already locked onto them.

"Lieutenant, the battleship seems to be tilting slightly," someone said.

Aboard the ship, Amalia and the others were frantically trying to manage the controls in the command center.

Although they had experience piloting spaceships from the Andromeda Universe, the alien battleship was a completely different things.

Many of the command systems were unfamiliar, and some of the instructions were entirely unheard of.

Kenny Lin had only given them a ten-minute crash course before leaving them to figure out the rest.

They had spent just over ten minutes familiarizing themselves with the controls, and the battleship had already arrived in the skies above Lumora.

The speed was astonishing.

The alien battleship truly lived up to its reputation.

This enormous vessel was several times larger than the largest imperial battleship of the Draconis Empire, and its defenses were unparalleled.

Even the empire’s most powerful weaponry might be able to pierce its defenses, but such firepower came at a tremendous energy cost.

And that was just to penetrate the ship’s defenses.

The stark difference between the imperial battleship and the alien battleship made it clear how vastly inferior the former were in comparison.

"Lieutenant, is this the command for firing the cannons?"

"Lieutenant, an alarm just went off over here. What does that mean?"

"Lieutenant..."

The relentless questions made Amalia feel like her head was splitting.

She glanced at Tariq, who had asked about the cannon controls, then at the alien troops on the ground, who were already in the sights of the ship’s cannons.

"Fire. Try not to hit civilians. Just do a few test shots to probe their defenses. Major General Rafiq should be able to figure out the situation from there."

"Yes, Lieutenant."

Tariq suppressed his excitement, but his trembling fingers betrayed his exhilaration.

What goes around truly comes around.

Once, they had been the ones targeted by the aliens.

The scenes of devastation and despair were still fresh in their minds.

Now, the tables had finally turned.

This moment had been a long time coming, and everyone had been waiting for it.

Without a shred of hesitation, Tariq input the attack command.

The dense barrage of cannon fire from the massive battleship roared down toward the surface.

Seeing the battleship’s attack, the aliens launched a fervent counterattack.

After being stifled for so long, it was their turn to retaliate fiercely.

These damned humans—none of them could be allowed to survive!

"What’s meant to come has finally arrived," muttered Major General Rafiq.

His lips trembled, and his eyes were bloodshot—not out of fear, but sheer frustration and sorrow.

His soldiers, every one of them, were living, breathing lives.

After this battle, the three million troops he once commanded would likely cease to exist.

Though he had long anticipated this outcome, now that the moment had come, even a hardened warrior like him found it unbearable.

His once-straight, pine-like posture bent suddenly, as if the weight of the world had aged him decades in mere moments.

"Why?" Farid muttered bitterly, equally unwilling to accept this.

A miracle had unfolded just moments ago.

Why couldn’t it have lasted a little longer?

As they gazed upward, watching the dense cannon fire rain down from the sky, some soldiers, knowing there was no escaping death, had already lost the will to keep fighting.

"Don’t stop! Even if we die, we’ll take one of them with us!" A furious officer charged at the nearest alien, grappling them in a death struggle.
