Chapter 111: Javier Weiss

Arthur stared blankly at the abruptly disconnected communicator, and a profound anger were swiftly rising in his eyes, "Did she think that once she arrived in the Royal Durian Capital City, I’d be unable to handle things?"

"Father, she dared speaking to you like this, isn’t Amalia afraid we might go after her foster parents?" Alex asked cautiously.

In just a moment, Arthur’s anger seemed to dissipate, and a hint of seriousness crept into the lines on his forehead.

"Father, what’s wrong?" Alex asked, and careful in his approach.

"Amalia seems to be quite confident," Arthur pondered.

Alex was shocked, "But isn’t she so humble from the beginnings? She was before, and now she’s nothing, how can she be so confident?"

"She deceived us before. Something must have happened while she was helping someone repairing an artifacts," Arthur reasoned.

"Father..." Alex wanted to say something but was stopped by Arthur’s raised hand.

"Tomorrow, you both return to the Royal Durian Capital City. I’ll send someone to investigate this matter. Even if Amalia has found support in Big Apple City, the capital isn’t a place where just anyone can meddle. If she truly has an issue, she’s just a mere pawn, unless she suddenly sprouts wings and flies away," Arthur’s face darkened, and his eyes revealing an undisguised chill.

However, what his expression would be upon discovering that Martin Carnales was Amalia’s backer remained unknown.

Also seeking Amalia was Mikel Sabate, albeit two steps behind, he learn about Amalia’s departure from Big Apple City through Martin Carnales.

Before leaving, Amalia messaged Martin Carnales, and entrusting him with the matter concerning her foster parents.

"Mikel, you don’t need to worry. Didn’t Uncle Carnales say Ms. Vanquez went to the Royal Durian Capital City? We’re headed there too; we’ll find her there," Hubert comforted his friend.

Mikel Sabate drooped, "It’s a pity I still haven’t found my uncle."

"How does you know your uncle is in Big Apple City?" Martin Carnales, who suddenly hearing him mention his uncle, couldn’t help but recall a figure of exceptional elegance and charismatic man.

He had assumed Mikel Sabate was here to find an artificer to repair the artifact that was gifted by his uncle.

Accidentally letting slip, Mikel Sabate stuck out their tongue, "Uncle, please don’t tell my family, especially my aunt."

"Heh, that depends on whether your answer can satisfy me. You know, it’s not just you who’s afraid of your aunt; your uncle is also scared," Martin Carnales also openly displayed his eavesdropping tendencies.

"Uncle is so annoying!" Mikel Sabate pouted.

"I overheard Uncle and Grandfather talking earlier, and mentioning a possible issues he was in Big Apple City. I guessed that my uncle might be here, so I came to try my luck. But Look, I haven’t found him either."

He intentionally emphasized the word "overheard." In reality, whether it was accidental or not, Martin Carnales knew all too well about his antics. It was probably from eavesdropping.

"Alright, it’s time for you to go back. Otherwise, the family will worry. Tomorrow, I’ll have someone take you to the airport," Martin Carnales stated.

"I don’t want to wait until tomorrow. Let’s do it today," Mikel Sabate thought more about it and felt that maybe their uncle hadn’t been in Big Apple City for a while. Staying here was pointless.

And as for Amalia, who intended to befriend her, she had already rushed to the capital ahead of everyone.

"That’s fine," as long as she was willing to return, any arrangement was acceptable.

He immediately instructed his secretary to book two first-class tickets for the afternoon.

At the airport, Amalia and Kenny Lin were discussing tickets as well.

The reason being, upon returning from his discussion, Amalia discovered that the two economy class tickets he had booked had been changed by Kenny Lin into two super luxurious first-class seats, with a staggering price difference.

Kenny Lin thought he was exaggerating. It was just fifty million. With his skills in refining artifact, he could earn it back in no time.

He couldn’t believe Amalia was concerned about saving this small amount.

Amalia didn’t want to argue with him. Fifty million was still money, and besides, it wasn’t just about the money. First class drew too much attention.

In her past life, whenever she traveled, she preferred blending in with the crowd.

Although she realized things were different now, she didn’t see any issues.

However, first class was first class, and the tickets were already obtained.

First class was spacious, and the aisle was different. There was no need to squeeze with the economy class passengers.

The two quickly found their seats, though not together because of the last-minute change; all the good seats had been taken.

Amalia saw someone seated next to her designated place, wearing sunglasses and arrogantly raising their chin.

They were surrounded by two individuals, catering to their needs, and blocking her entry space.

"Excuse me, could you please move aside?" Amalia spoke up, but the two seemed oblivious, still engrossed in conversing with the people seated nearby. However, a diligent young man noticed her presence.

"Are you Amalia?" The young man pushed up his sunglasses, revealing a pair of beautiful almond-shaped eyes, staring at Amalia with surprise.

Yet, his expression didn’t reflect the delight of meeting a familiar acquaintance.

While hearing her name spoken by the other party, there was surprise in the tone but accompanied by a malicious undertone.

Amalia carefully observed the young man, slowly retrieving memories from the past.

In her recollections, besides the young man stood a beautiful and proud young girl. That girl was none other than Grace, someone who detested her to the core.

The young man was Javier Weiss, one of Grace’s pursuers and someone who could engage in meaningful conversations with her. It was because he was an artisan.

His family invested significantly in him, and Javier Weiss had decent talent, so Grace kept him captivated, and he willing to do anything for her.

At Heavenly Path University, Javier Weiss was also among those who isolated the original owner in favor of Grace’s siblings. Because of Grace, Javier Weiss never showed any courtesy to the original owner. He could mock and never spoke nicely, he looked like an obsessed fan.

Unexpectedly, they encountered each other on the same floating aircraft.

The moment Javier Weiss saw Amalia, he remembered Grace’s frequent complaints lately.

The malice in his eyes almost overflowed, and then, those attractive thin lips spat out harsh words.

"Poor beggar, how can you afford a first-class seat? With your status, you probably sneaked in from economy class. Where’s the cabin crew? Hurry up and kick this idiot out! We first-class passengers spent so much money. If anyone can just casually sneak in, where does that leave the safety and rights of us esteemed passengers!"

His shouting quickly summoned the cabin crew. First-class passengers were indeed considered esteemed, and the crew always kept a watchful eye.

"Sir, how may I assist you?" The cabin crew was polite, recognizing Javier Weiss the moment he approached.

This young master was a regular customer of their company, not only frequently flying on this aircraft but also purchasing two first-class seats for those accompanying him.

Pointing at Amalia standing in the aisle, Javier Weiss arrogantly said, "Get this person out! An idiot from economy class sneaking into first-class. What are you all doing? Should I have my father call the chairman of your company?"

Only now did the cabin crew notice Amalia’s presence, glancing over with some bewilderment.

Truth be told, anyone with eyes could see that this guest exuded exceptional grace, possessing a slender and tall figure, a sculpted beautiful face that wasn’t inferior to a beautiful model in any aspect.

To claim that she couldn’t afford a first-class seat was something he couldn’t believe.

Not just the cabin crew, even the passengers whose attention was drawn by Javier Weiss’s loud voice found his words rather dubious.

However, as it wasn’t their concern, and Javier Weiss didn’t seem like someone from an ordinary background, it wasn’t necessary to offend someone over a stranger who appeared handsome. Hence, everyone tacitly remained silent.

"Release my young master!" Two servants attending Javier Weiss heard their young master’s voice and suddenly reacted, rushing towards Amalia.

Amalia cast an extremely sharp glance at them, and instantly, the two were frozen in place, trembling.

She was terrifying. Her gaze seemed capable of killing them, making them feel that if they took another step, she would indeed strike.

"What are you standing around for? Hurry and get Luis Weiss here!" Javier Weiss was shaking all over, whether from anger or pain, he couldn’t tell.

Finally comprehending, the two servants realized, "Oh right, there’s Luis Weiss!"

Luis Weiss was a spirit cultivator, but unfortunately, he happened to be absent. One of them immediately rushed to call Luis Weiss.

Luis Weiss was in the restroom and had long heard his young master’s cries. Even before they found him, he emerged into the first-class cabin.

Upon seeing his young master’s leg being restrained by someone, his spiritual power erupted.

Just as he was about to rush to Amalia’s side, a hand suddenly reached out from a seat in the aisle, and lightly pressing on his shoulder.

It was as if a Mount Tai was bearing down on him, and rendering him motionless in an instant.

Luis Weiss was shocked; he was a Level 5 Spirit Cultivator, yet the other person managed to control him with just one hand. Could these people be prepared for this?

"Mind your own business, just watch. Don’t casually interfere," Kenny Lin said with a sly smile.

Luis Weiss stiffened, and sweat pouring down his back. Realizing that if the other party wanted to kill him, they would have already done so. He nervously nodded, unable to move, looking helplessly at Javier Weiss.

Witnessing this scene, Javier Weiss was both astonished and frightened.
