Chapter 1105: Impending Danger

Compared to the divine artifacts that trigger heavenly tribulations, this structure is indeed very simple.

The true extraordinary items cannot be mass-produced.

Khalil was so stunned that he couldn’t speak, and the soldiers standing nearby, including Tariq, were also dumbfounded, unable to utter a word.

The Cosmorite Mechas, which had been wreaking havoc and causing the Empire’s Mecha Masters endless headaches, were now described as simple by this person, someone who had only recently arrived.

After a moment, Khalil recovered his composure and cautiously asked, "How do you know so much? Are you a Mecha Master too?"

"Sort of," Amalia replied.

The process of refining artifact and designing mechs was fundamentally the same, so she didn’t deny it.

Khalil took a deep breath.

He had thought the two of them were simply incredibly powerful warriors, but now, to his surprise, one of them was also a Mecha Master.

"So do you think we could build these Cosmorite Mechas?" Khalil asked, his urgency apparent.

"As long as we can find the materials, it shouldn’t be a problem," Amalia said casually.

After all, it wasn’t that difficult.

Khalil was overjoyed for a moment, but his excitement slowly faded as he spoke again, "To be honest, before we lost contact with the Empire, the Empire couldn’t detect some of the components of the Cosmorite Mechas. In the Empire’s database, there’s no material that matches the components we’ve detected. We’ve always suspected that these components might only exist in higher-dimensional universes."

Amalia scoffed lightly, "If these materials only existed in higher-dimensional space, why would the aliens place so much importance on hiding the Cosmorite Mecha technology? The fact that they want to conceal the secrets of these mechs means that this lower-dimensional universe should be able to find those materials."

"You’re right, how did I not think of that?" Khalil’s expression brightened.

"It’s the same principle as the saying ’worrying about something can cause confusion,’" Amalia added.

Khalil nodded and then said, "But the core cabin is still a challenge. Six months ago, our experts discovered a strange energy in the Cosmorite Mecha’s core cabin, but we couldn’t figure out where it came from."

"That’s because this strange energy is related to the materials you can’t detect. Without those materials for experimentation, you wouldn’t be able to figure it out," Amalia explained.

Khalil became so excited that he reached out to grab Amalia’s hand, but failed, as Kenny Lin blocked him.

"Calm down, don’t get physical," Kenny Lin shot him a stern look.

"I’m sorry, I got too excited," Khalil began apologizing. "I didn’t expect that the problem that has troubled the Empire for so long could be solved so easily by you, benefactor."

"It’s possible they’ve already discovered it, but just couldn’t find the right materials. Human intelligence is limitless, don’t underestimate it," Amalia said.

Khalil calmed down. "You’re right. The most important thing now is to find those materials. Since the enemy is on guard against us, could it be that the location of those materials is guarded by their forces?"

Amalia smiled. "You’re right to think that way. But you could also rely on their mechs to turn the tide. After all, they can build these mechs too."

"You’re right. I’m truly sorry for losing my composure in front of you both," Khalil said apologetically.

"It’s no problem," Amalia responded.

Her understanding made Khalil feel even more embarrassed.

He had always thought powerful people were untouchable and distant, but her demeanor was so gentle and approachable that it almost felt unreal.

After the sun set, the sky turned pitch black with no stars visible, obscured by thick clouds, as if signaling an impending storm.

Meanwhile, near the planets Khalil mentioned, a massive warship, hidden in the vastness of space, was flashing intermittently with light.

"Damn it, how long has it been? Why haven’t Ixilith and the others returned yet? Could they have gotten carried away and lost track of time?"

An alien paced back and forth anxiously in front of a door.

"That can’t be, this isn’t their first time on that planet. The humans there are already no match for us; they have no resistance left. No matter how much fun they’re having, it shouldn’t take this long," another alien said, frowning.

"If they haven’t lost track of time, then what else could it be? Those humans are so weak, a few of them could wipe out the rest, let alone dozens."

"Have you contacted them?"

The alien fell silent for a moment. "If I’d contacted them, I wouldn’t be here anxious. They know how important the Cosmorite Mecha is. I’m just worried they might have left the mechs behind, and those humans could get their hands on them."

The expression of the other alien immediately turned serious. "You really haven’t been able to contact them?"

"Of course not," the first alien replied.

"Then they might be in trouble. I’ll immediately inform the others."

"But..." The alien tried to stop his companion, but before he could explain, the other had already left.

After reporting the situation, the higher-ups took the matter seriously.

They immediately agreed to send a mech squad to Shadron to check on the situation.

If the people were still there causing trouble, they would bring them back.

If something had gone wrong, they would wipe out Shadron and retrieve the Cosmorite Mechs.

The alien mech squads typically consisted of no fewer than five hundred members, while a full mech division numbered over ten thousand.

A thousand-member alien mech squad quickly set off in a grand procession towards Shadron.

Shadron peaceful and unaware, had no idea that their powerful enemies would soon arrive.

Khalil and the others dared not sleep.

After all, they had killed dozens of aliens during the day, and their ship had definitely received the news.

Everyone was worried about a surprise attack from the alien.

They had to stay vigilant, and it proved to be a wise choice.

Just as dawn approached, an alarm suddenly blared.
