About an hour before Isabella’s mother’s arrival, her Personal Guard had arrived at the restaurant first.

They cleared out all the unrelated personnel, ensured there were no dangerous items in the restaurant, and checked that there were no cameras or recording devices in every corner.

Now, they needed to guard the kitchen at all times, making sure no one was poisoning the food.

After the routine check, they warned Song Lan not to take the bisected birds to the front hall because these birds had sharp claws and beaks which were potential threats.
