Outside the hospital room window, night fell, and Jasmine sat in front of Isabella’s hospital bed.

After confirming that the last person in the school hospital lost consciousness, the youth with his hood obscuring half of his face finally spoke.

His whole body was almost completely wrapped in heavy clothing, even his exposed hands were covered in metal.

Even his voice was altered by some device.

That pair of mechanical eyes was staring at Jasmine’s figure.

Maintaining the secrecy of the identity of Six Stars rescuers had always been one of the United Government’s most crucial tasks. In theory, they should not have been seen by so many people during their operations.

"I am a doctor first, and only then a rescuer," Jasmine replied. She had lost count of how many times she had made this clear to her peers.

"The Review Meeting sent an electronic handbook, which I think, after you see it, you might gain a new understanding of the importance of confidentiality."

The young man tapped lightly, and an electronic handbook floated towards Jasmine, carried by some invisible force.

Because of her work, Jasmine often came into contact with such handbooks. The treatment and recovery of Psychics had been her long-standing project, but she had never seen such a ... dangerous handbook.

From the emblem on the cover and the electronic seal, it was evident that this document had been personally compiled by the Review Meeting and was subject to the highest level of confidentiality.

If not for such a huge blunder in the Seventh District, even they, as Six Stars rescuers, might not have been able to access its contents.

Yet, as a Six Star Rescuer for the United Government, she had never heard of Experimental Subject δ, nor was she aware of where and how all the measures in the handbook were completed.

She noticed a key piece of information mentioned in the manual, "It says here that δ has been confirmed dead."

"It seems those who dealt with the matter back then didn’t do it as thoroughly as they imagined," the young man said.

For the upper echelons of the United Government, this was undoubtedly one of the most dangerous abilities they had ever faced—it could kill any person without warning across a city or even several cities.

Be it politicians, corporate executives, or even Six Star Rescuers.

According to the records, before δ, like plucking weeds, left the United Government’s high-ranking officials dead in the streets one after another, they found her existence first – strangling the immense threat in its cradle before her abilities could fully mature.

The Six Star Rescuer who executed the eradication order ended up linked with her after driving δ to a dead end."

At this point, the young man paused for a moment, "Firstly, we need to consider how to survive in her hands."
