In the conference room, people looked at each other in dismay.

In their minds, a being capable of the three aforementioned feats was almost indistinguishable from deities spoken of in some Sects.

This reminded her of the "enthusiastic citizen" of District Seventeen; she had always thought that he was a Psychic similar to the leaders of the Rebel Army like Esinvig, but now it appeared that his ability to overcome all obstacles in District Seventeen could very well be because he, like Narude, served the mysterious lord of the Void.

"Not long ago, someone destroyed the Barrosa Group’s branch near the Twelve Countries," Esinvig informed Aljom about the latest news from the surface. "He is very likely related to this Void Sect."

But now the biggest problem was that no one knew the ultimate goal of this Sect, nor the form of their existence. Hasty investigations would only put them in peril.

"Narude easily defeated Wild Bone, and any one of us here would likely meet the same fate as Wild Bone if we faced him alone," they acknowledged.

The meeting thus moved to its most critical part, "You now have to choose whether to carve out a path back to the surface or stay here awaiting doom."

"Aljom has delivered a speech claiming that enemies from the Void have infiltrated the intelligence department, controlled the person in charge, Boris, and confused the minds of the people. They have now started to actively plan their return to the surface," Lu Xiang summarized the changes in the Fourth Neutral Country for Song Lan. She didn’t know how Song Lan suddenly came up with the rhetoric about Narude and the lord of the Void, but the results showed that "Narude’s" conversation with Aljom and others in the energy control room had produced immediate effects.
