Emperor's Domination
Chapter 6593: Passerby

Chapter 6593: Passerby

“Boom!” A temporal flame pulsed throughout the sky.

Jiu Ning nearly fell to the ground; her internal energies churned chaotically.

“This is bad...” Her expression soured.

“It’s breaking out, you should recall your true fate now.” Li Qiye said.

“This time...” She sensed a flood of temporal waves attempting to crush the nine peaks: “Is World Seal awakening?”

“Not only that, this is related to the egg too.” Li Qiye said.

“The egg?” She asked.

“The one you call Li Xingchen.” Li Qiye said.

She didn’t quite understand why Li Qiye called one of the most powerful overlords the egg.

“Go.” He waved, telling her to leave.

“And you, Young Noble?” She couldn’t help but ask.

“I’m going to meet someone to see how interesting they are.” Li Qiye said.

“Light God?” She had a good idea.

He smiled and stood up to leave.

***

Light God was an Unequaled Ancestor, rumored to be a practitioner of an ancient dao. However, he made a name for himself after the rise of the primal ancestors so he was classified as one.

However, those who had seen his dao before didn’t think so. It could be from the three immortals.

Either way, some said he was only weaker than the overlords. Perhaps this was an exaggeration but a few believed he could challenge overlords when he went all out.

Either way, he was highly respected due to his holy affinity. He walked among the mortal world and removed suffering when possible.

Thus, other cultivators were “primal ancestors” and “heaven-slayers” while he had “god” for his title. His fame in the mortal world was greater than the overlords’.

Weizhen and Supreme Black Ancestor weren't known but a toddler in the mortal world had heard of Light God.

Currently, he resided within his dao square, teaching the ways of the light to disciples. They included emperors and primal ancestors, sitting and listening to his lecture.

He sat in the main position, chanting mantras evoking the light and its wondrous images. It illuminated his followers.

One had the image of a rising sun. Another saw an azure...

“Acceptable technique, but the light should radiate from the self.” A quiet voice was heard by all.

An ordinary man appeared in the dao square and commented without holding back. All eyes turned toward him - Li Qiye.

His remark disrespected both Light God and his followers. Their sharp gaze and auras focused on him.

“Ignorant brat, kneel!” A desolate god’s aura crashed with the weight of a mountain.

“Bam.” Li Qiye sent him flying with a finger flick.

“I can’t be suppressed when the light originates from the heart.” Li Qiye said.

“Who are you?!” The disciples became startled.

“State your name!” They stood up and pressed closer.

“Rumble!” An overwhelming force suppressed the area. Colors disappeared and all laws ceased to exist. Only the light remained, ready to annihilate opposers.

“Can’t destroy something from the heart.” Li Qiye waved and sent all of them flying.

“Who are you?!” They were horrified by his power.

“Just a passerby.” He came closer.

They immediately summoned weapons - pagodas, divine swords, mirrors...

“Step back, everyone.” Light God stood up and dismissed them.

The rays of light emanating from him were pure and sacred, making others feel ashamed and want to repent.

“Master!” A disciple cried out.

“You all may leave, I will talk with this dao brother.” He waved. Although his words were calm, they left no room for refusal.

The disciples, though reluctant, bowed to him before departing.

“Please have a seat.” Light God offered a seat to Li Qiye.

Li Qiye sat down and took a closer look. The other party did the same.

“Have we met before?” Light God asked.

“No.” Li Qiye shook his head.
