Chapter 6592: Three Immortals’ Disciple

“Pop!” Li Qiye pulled out of her head.

She fell to the ground, paralyzed and drenched in sweat. He had sealed her mind, making her feel as if she was tossed into the cauldron of hell.

It took a long time before she regained consciousness and stood up, looking at the worm in his grasp.

The worm screeched and continuously changed its form, growing larger or having jaws pop up in random locations.

However, the primordial light always forced it back to its original form.

“Let’s take a closer look, shall we?” The light became tiny enough to enter the worm, flowing within like water streams.

It didn’t take long before a full revolution and many more, forming linear patterns. Each pattern contained a unit of time, forcing it out of the worm. Once enough came out, it formed a tiny vortex.

“Temporal Remembrance.” Jiu Ning became emotional since this was different from what they could do.

Emperors and above went straight to the past. However, Li Qiye extracted the time experienced by a lifeform, turning it into a different entity. With that, he could go back to any point in time.

He became the lord of this entity and had full control over all aspects of the extracted timeline. Alas, the continuously growing vortex still didn’t allow him to go back to the source.

“How many generations already?” He had a serious expression as he dispelled the temporal effect.

“Nodes activation.” He chanted and the aggregated timeline rippled outward in the form of countless nodes. They were useless to him.

Jiu Ning watched in amazement since this was her first time seeing someone displaying a heaven-defying level of control over time.

For her, the immortals stood at the apex of the dao. However, perhaps they still had a long way to go before reaching Li Qiye’s level. Was he a true immortal in the legends?

“Pop!” He caught a particular node containing the right years.

The worm couldn’t handle the process and turned to ashes. Jiu Ning couldn’t believe it - her tormentor was put to death so easily.

The node rippled with light and images. Li Qiye captured and sent them to reality - the image of a holy figure capable of purifying everything.

He looked like the god of light descending to protect the world.

“Light God.” Jiu Ning commented.

“Hmm?” Li Qiye was not expecting this since the source should be either Bao Pu or Nine-secret, not this figure.

“Light God is one of the strongest primal ancestors in Heaven World. Perhaps not the strongest but the most holy.” She said.

“Interesting.” He said.

“Rumor has it Light God is a direct disciple of the three immortals.” She added.

“How come I’ve never heard of this before?” Li Qiye commented.

“This is a common belief.” She said: “Those who witness his dao all say so, that he had inherited the immortals’ legacy and noble dao.”

“I see.” Li Qiye’s smile became wider.

“Pop!” The image of Light God popped like a bubble as if the real entity was aware of being watched.

“Wouldn’t the source be Progenitor Nine-secret, Young Noble?” She asked.

“I was trying to find Bao Pu’s true form and his hiding spot.” Li Qiye said.

“But Bao Pu is dead...” She was surprised to hear this.

“Only a double, not Bao Pu.” Li Qiye said.

“I see.” She stood there in a daze.

“Boom!” Suddenly, a beam erupted from the nine peaks within World City. The suppression in place withstood an immense pressure. Since Jiu Ning’s true fate was suppressed in there, she started trembling as well.
