Edge of the Apocalypse -
Chapter 764: Karin's Attack
Shanton put his hands behind his back and stood on the ground with his feet, his momentum as imposing as a mountain. Facing the veterans who rushed over first, he did not move, and a rough smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. The veterans were not polite either. The two of them suddenly rushed out and hugged Shanton's thick feet. Two more people wrapped around his arms, and the remaining one grabbed his short, thick neck from behind. Next, the soldiers rushed down and pounced towards Shanton, building a mountain of people.
"Is that all you have?" Shanton was surrounded by numerous figures. He smiled and his eyes suddenly became sharp. His feet paused and he immediately shook off the soldiers with thick legs in their arms. He stretched out his arms and lifted them up, unexpectedly lifting a dozen people up like a pile of arhats.
Suddenly, a loud shout rang out from the playground.
Shanton put his hands together and everyone immediately flew towards the two sides, dancing and falling to the ground. Following that, the mountain of people that was pressing down on Shanton collapsed instantly with fists and kicks. A moment later, the playground was full of people. The soldiers were more or less brushed by Shanton's fists and feet, lying on the ground for a while. Shanton stepped on the ground and said, "Get up, you've lost. Hey, boys, double the amount of training today. Give me fifty sets of fitness training each, and I won't be able to eat until I'm done!"
So the moan turned into a howl.
Hearing the wailing of the soldiers on the playground, several soldiers on guard looked at each other and laughed. They were glad that they had work to do today. Otherwise, they would probably have been like those unlucky ghosts who ran into Shanton's impulse and increased their training volume in vain.
At this moment, a soldier on the sentry tower seemed to have seen something and hurriedly picked up his tactical telescope to look. In front of the camp, Qiu Yan rose and fell. A faint black shadow appeared behind one of the mountains. The soldier adjusted the vision of the telescope, and a long-haired beast appeared in his field of vision. This was the first time the beast soldier had seen such a thing. Just as he was thinking about the existence of such a species on the high ground, two more strong men crawled up from behind the mountain.
However, it was definitely not a human. After all, humans would not have just one eye like them.
"There's a situation!" The soldier put down his binoculars and shouted, "Sir Shanton, you must come and see."
"What is it?" Shanton came to the sentry tower.
The soldier pointed forward and said, "There are some strange fellows over there."
"Catu?"
"No, it's not the Catus, nor is it the Grai Giants. This is the first time I've seen such a creature." As soon as the soldier finished speaking, he felt a slight tremor beneath his feet, like an earthquake, but the tremor was not that intense. A cup placed on a shelf beside him. The water in the cup was rippling. More and more ripples appeared, and it was clear that the tremors were also intensifying. The soldier turned around and saw several tall figures emerge from behind a hill rock.
He raised his binoculars and saw three heads in his field of vision. The middle one had three rows of eyeballs, no mouth, and only a few nostrils. The left and right had no eyes, but their mouths were wide open, and their tongues would occasionally spit out. When his vision was slightly further away, the soldier could clearly see that the three heads were all growing on the same body. The three-meter-tall body was overly strong, and on the muscles that were bulging up, there were earthworm-like blood vessels crawling between the green-gray skin.
This was already a giant. Although it was not as exaggerated as the Grai Giant, it could still be called a giant to humans. The giant was dragging a crude iron hammer in his hand. The hammer left a deep mark on the ground, causing dust to billow all the way. Behind him, there were a few others of the same kind. Their hands were either sabers or axes, and no matter what kind of weapon they used, they were all exaggerated.
At this moment, the one-eyed eccentric and a few long-haired exotic beasts descended from Qiu Yan's side. These things were obviously in the same group, and they were all pushing towards the camp. Behind them, the soldiers saw other unnamed beasts, one-eyed eccentrics. This was simply like an army. The exotic beasts ran between the eccentrics, while the three giants rushed at the front. These fellows rushed over in groups.
"What the hell are these things!" Upon arriving at the sentry tower, Shanton could see the monsters and exotic beasts without the need for binoculars. The target was clear, and Shanton shouted from the sentry tower, "Highest alert! Prepare for battle!"
He didn't forget to inform the family camp. Just as he finished all of this, a sharp howl came from the front of the camp. Shanton turned around and used all his strength to throw a huge axe that was as big as a round table into the air. The giant axe pressed down like a hill, and the sound of air-piercing was so intense that it made one suffocate. Before Shanton could stop him, the giant axe had already smashed into a fence beside the gate, killing a few soldiers there and crushing them under the rubble.
Without Shanton's orders, the counterattack from the camp began very quickly.
The two anti-aircraft guns spat out long tongues of flame. The gunners pressed the muzzle of the guns against the enemy, while soldiers kept moving ammunition boxes to the side and sending the ammunition chains into the machine guns. The cartridge case that jumped out of the chamber fell to the ground like a shower. In the blink of an eye, a metallic cartridge case had already scattered all over the ground. The two flying cars in the camp happened to be patrolling outside. Shanton had them brought back, and the other soldiers jumped onto the fence and attacked with rifles.
He himself wore a pair of Iron Finger Tigers. This pair of Iron Finger Tigers didn't have any special abilities. But they're heavy enough. They're Shanton's favorite weapons. He brought another group of elite warriors whose average level was around Level 11 and Level 2, then pushed open the door and left. It wasn't Shanton's personality to hide in the camp and defend passively. As soon as he left the camp, he saw a three-headed giant being shot into a sieve by the bullets of his anti-aircraft gun. There were hundreds of blood arrows jumping up and down from his body.
However, just as he was about to fall, he threw a rough metal sledgehammer over. Without any suspense, the sledgehammer smashed another section of the fence, causing miserable screams to resound from inside. Sandon snorted and strode forward. He raised his arm and shouted at the approaching army.
All of a sudden, he was the only one left in the battlefield who could not hear anything else.
Then, Shanton punched the ground. An invisible ripple swept away, and dozens of earth dragons suddenly arched up on the ground, pushing forward in a radial manner. The earth dragon was dozens of meters deep into the enemy before it suddenly split apart, spraying out a cloud of sand and tyrannical and wild energy! Immediately, a large number of figures flew up. Among them, there were exotic beasts and one-eyed eccentrics. The shadows that were shaken exploded one after another. Blood immediately rained down from the scene, bringing with it a fishy smell.
Seeing that the officer was so powerful, the soldiers couldn't help but cheer, and the rumbling of the machine guns also began to gather. Two giants rushed forward amidst the flames. Shanton pointed at the giant on the left and went straight to the right. The elite warriors he brought immediately understood and rushed towards the target on the left.
Shanton quickly welcomed the giant.
The giant's left and right heads let out a scream at the same time. The scream was extremely penetrating, causing Shanton to frown slightly. The giant raised a rusty saber covered in serrations with both of his hands and slashed towards Shanton with all his might. Shan Dun shouted, his hands on the giant's wrist. Immediately, the two forces collided, causing the ground to thunderbolt. The giant's powerful saber was stopped by Shanton, and the burly man laughed sinisterly. He raised his thigh and kicked one of the giant's calves with his iron-wrapped boots. The sound of fractures rang out immediately. The giant's flesh was broken, and its center of gravity immediately lost control. The giant involuntarily knelt down.
Shanton shook off the giant's hands and roared. His right fist landed heavily on one of the giants' heads. The Iron Finger Tiger easily drilled into the giant's head, tearing apart the bones and muscles it had hit. When Shanton's fist stabbed out from the other side of his head, the giant's head exploded like a balloon. Blood and minced meat splashed all over Shanton's face.
The giant screamed miserably, wanting to get up and deal with Shanton. The latter simply jumped onto his shoulder, wrapped his hands around the head in the middle of the giant, and placed his feet on the other's shoulder. Shanton shouted loudly, his feet propped up forcefully, and the giant let out a scream. The scream suddenly stopped, but Shanton actually used brute force to forcefully pull out the head in the middle. The big head also pulled out a section of its spine from the giant's body. Shanton landed on the ground and casually threw the big head down. Then, he turned around and headed in the other direction of the battlefield.
The giant that only had one head left shook, and then powerlessly fell to the ground. Blood sprayed out from its neck like a fountain, spraying more than ten meters away.
Shanton rushed into the group of enemies and tasted the enemy's blood with his finger tiger fist. After another exotic beast was knocked down by him, Shanton finally breathed a sigh of relief. At this time, there were already quite a few corpses lying under his feet. At this moment, his head suddenly darkened. Just as he raised his head, he saw a foot the size of a hill pressing down. Shanton's pupils shrank as he shouted and retreated. A figure landed heavily on the ground, causing the battlefield to tremble.
After stopping, Shanton raised his head. Seeing this figure slowly stand up from his crouching position, the height of nearly six meters completely blocked the sunlight in front of Shanton, enveloping him in a huge figure. Santon spat and scolded, "Damn it, it's the Grai Giant. Wait, it's still a woman?"
Karin looked at Shanton. This sturdy man had a strong aura. Although he was far from strong, it was not something that his slaves could handle. Karin smiled charmingly and suddenly stepped on Shanton's head as if she was going to trample a worm to death. Shanton roared as he raised his arms and grabbed Karin's foot. The moment he caught it, Shanton's face turned red and his entire body sank into the ground.
Karin continued to increase her strength and nailed the mountain to the ground. By the time she retracted her foot, Santon's knee was already one with the earth. The pressure suddenly dissipated, and Santon couldn't help but spit out blood. He touched his chest and found that at least a few bones had been broken. Seeing Karin fiddling with a wheel saw, Shanton smiled bitterly and shouted, "Boys, retreat! Go back and tell Lord Roddy to avenge me!"
At the end of her sentence, Karin floated back, turned around, and waved her arm. The wheel saw came out of its hand and let out a sharp howl as it sliced towards Shanton. Shanton couldn't get up from the ground and couldn't avoid it. He could only roar and smash his fist heavily at the wheel saw.
With one arm bouncing into the air, the wheel saw easily cut off Shanton's hand and slanted past his chest. The area above Shanton's chest immediately exploded, shattering his bones!
