Chapter 653: Nameless Mothership

Chaos Canyon.

Alan climbed up a high ground and looked down. Wherever he could see, the Catus were like a group of ants, struggling between the sea of grass and the strange rocks. After three hours of trekking, Allen believed he had entered the middle of the canyon. In the depths of the valley, Frost Star's originally not intense sunshine was even deeper in the valley.

The pale white light of the dead fish fell on this gloomy gorge. Looking up, the rocky cliffs that stretched out diagonally around the valley were exposed to the air like the bones of a giant beast. The gray cliffs and the miserable green moss made these mountain peaks look like mouldy bones. The entire canyon was extremely wet and oppressive. There was no snow on the ground. There were dark brown grass and mouldy rocks everywhere. It was either a crooked bald tree without leaves, or a cave on both sides of the cliff. They were pitch black and looked like mountain peaks with empty mouths.

This gorge was like its name, filled with twisted, chaotic plants and animals. Yes, not only was the terrain in chaos, there was no law to be found. Even the creatures that inhabited this valley were completely different from the creatures outside. They looked like spiders and were the size of hounds. However, the part that looked like the abdomen was actually the head, while the mouth grew above, and a few eyeballs appeared unevenly on both sides of the head. Alan left the highlands and went into a world of grass and strange trees. Moreover, there were noble and gorgeous golden patterns on the black mothership, which was incompatible with the rough and barbaric style of the Catus.

Only Adahua Planet's royal starship was comparable to this mysterious mothership in midair. However, the two of them were very similar, but their colors went to extremes. One was as white as the extreme day, while the other was as pitch black as the eternal night, like the two extremes of the universe.

Allen was sure that this wilderness was not formed naturally, but had been artificially altered by the Catus or the mothership in midair. They flattened a corner of the chaotic canyon. On this flat ground, Alan saw black machines. They were like a gigantic, black diamond-shaped crystal. Below, three identical brackets were stretched out, firmly fixing the machines with red lines on their surfaces to the ground.

At the lower end of the diamond-shaped machine, bright red energy beams were continuously spraying out. They were going deep into the ground, and they didn't know what they were doing. It was not hard to imagine that these machines and the mysterious starship in the sky were so secretive about the whereabouts of the Catus. Their work was bound to be bad for the Federation, and at that moment Alan heard a loud noise coming from afar. He lay on a high slope, using a twisted monster tree as a cover, looking down at the ground.

It was a makeshift camp with a distinct Catu tribal style. Amongst Brother Bai Li's team, the fatty was extremely conspicuous. Alan saw him at the first possible moment. At this moment, Brother Bai Li was arguing with an exceptionally tall figure. It was an exceptionally slender humanoid being. He was covered in a black robe, and even his head was tightly covered by a hat.

On his robe, there were seductive patterns like blood, decorated with dark blue, dark green, and light gold crystals. They interweaved complex and mysterious patterns on the robe. A pair of slender, blood-red arms stretched out from the robe. Behind him, a pair of skinny wings stretched out from his robes, and the wings were filled with gaps like rags.

When he was excited, blue flames would rise from beneath his feet. They seemed to spiritually roll towards the surrounding Catus. At this time, the Catus always retreated in panic. They really had to fear this blue flame. Alan had personally witnessed a Cato warrior being licked by the blue flame because he did not have time to retreat. His entire body immediately burned. Blue flames desperately drilled into the warrior's body like vipers. When screams came from the warrior's mouth, blue flames would spit out endlessly from his mouth and eyes.

Even so, Bai Li Ge was not afraid, and the black-robed man finally left with a flick of his sleeve. He was clearly extremely angry. He waved his long hand, and a large amount of blue flames gushed out from under his robes. Instantly, more than ten Catu warriors were affected, and they all turned into dark blue fireballs. The strange blue flames were not extinguished until they swallowed their last breath.
