Edge of the Apocalypse -
Chapter 1188: Iron Prison
There is a barren desert north of the eleventh region of the earth's surface. The desert has expanded to the south at a very noticeable rate over the past decade. A small town originally inhabited by humans on the edge of the desert could have been completely abandoned five years ago after the last inhabitant of the town could not stand the increasingly harsh environment. Half of the town's buildings are now submerged in yellow sand. The dungeons of that day might now be sand dunes. There was only an iron plate hanging high above the town entrance, spinning lonely in the wind, quietly recounting the fact that this town had once been inhabited by humans.
An airship passed through the town, and at four o'clock in the afternoon the sun was blazing. The flying ship pulled out a faint black shadow on the ground and gradually headed north into the desert.
Not long after, the speed of the airship gradually slowed down. In front of the flying ship, four tall walls appeared amidst the yellow sand. The four walls were made of copper-rust concrete and were ten meters tall, completely blocking the yellow sand outside the wall. The high wall formed a rectangular structure, and there were many firepower points on the wall. Soldiers could be seen patrolling the high wall. Inside the wall was a square. There was only a small building on the square. Located alone in the four walls, this building will be confusing to those who do not know.
The airship landed on the plaza. Someone came out of the low building. The leader was Fendi, followed by two rows of soldiers from the Iron Fist Legion. They stopped in front of the airship. After the engine of the airship was extinguished, the cabin door opened and Alan walked down from the airship first. Behind him were two tall figures. They were a full head taller than the President, wearing cloaks and helmets, and were somewhat unsightly.
When Alan saw Fendi, he asked, "Did you figure it out?"
"You know it's not that simple, Mr. President. In fact, our project manager told me that they had only completed the basic data collection, and the progress was a little rushed," Fendi said with a shrug.
"Tell them that time is of the essence." Alan shouted, "I'm not a joking general. Perhaps you still don't know that something incredible happened in Babylon."
"Oh, what is it, Mr. President?" Fendi was still smiling, as if nothing was worth worrying about.
Alan said in a low voice, "Horn has announced his withdrawal from Beskard and handed over the position of Patriarch. Not long ago, there was an unmarked airship skilled in leaving Babylon and knocked down two of our interceptor warships. General, you know what this means, don't you?"
Fendi's smile froze on the spot. "How is that possible? Old Horn can't have known about Alan!"
"Nothing is impossible in this world, my general. Now it was obvious that not only did Old Horn know about Alan, he also knew where he was. He was rushing over, and now, because of his abdication, the entire Babylonian aristocracy was paying close attention to Beskard's movements. I can't openly send troops over at a time like this. Otherwise, you'll know the consequences if I don't tell you. "
Alan pointed at Fendi and said, "So I can only rely on you now. Of course, I also found you two helpers. Don't ask about their identities. As long as you know, they will help intercept Old Horn."
"Damn it, if that's the case, I think it's necessary to divert the target of the experiment." Fendi said.
"Do you think I don't want to? But I can't do that, no matter what Old Horn does. Before Alan is exposed, everything he does can be regarded as a blatant attack on the Federation, so you can do whatever you think is necessary. But once Allen is in the public eye, we're in pretty bad shape. I can almost imagine that public opinion will be one-sided in favour of Beskard, and that the best outcome for you and me will be to resign with guilt. However, the three great families would definitely interfere. If they didn't make a mistake at this time, they wouldn't be worthy to sit at the top of the noble pyramid. Alan pointed to his head. "I dare to bet on my own head, General."
"Alright then, Mr. President, I know what to do."
"Very good. If Old Horn dares to come, don't let him go. He is no longer Horn from forty years ago. Iron Prison is not necessarily simpler than Planet Underworld Prison, right?" Before Fendi could reply, Alan walked back to the airship and gestured to Fendi, "Have a nice evening, General."
Watching the airship fly into the air, Fendi cursed a few times and then looked at the two people Alan had brought. These two were clearly not ordinary experts. Even Fendi felt a little oppressive. However, there was too much of an unpleasant smell in their auras. However, Alan told him not to pursue it, so he was too lazy to pay any attention to it. He arranged for a group of soldiers to bring the two mysterious men down. When necessary, they were the first line of defense to intercept Horn. As for whether they were alive or dead, Fendi ignored them.
Right now, he was in a bad mood and just wanted to find something to vent his anger on. He walked back to the low building. The low building was very spacious. There was only an elevator. In fact, it was the entrance to the Iron Prison. The real Iron Prison was located underground in this desert. The prison was surrounded by armor plates, which could both prevent sudden attacks and isolate the corrosion of the prison from the desert. In this place, it could be said to be as solid as gold soup.
When Alan heard the heavy footsteps, he knew that Fendi was in a bad mood. He raised his head and looked forward coldly. After arriving at the prison, Fendi had already imposed a number of punishments on him, including some inhumane methods. Alan had seen all four of the Federation's generals. Among them, the old general Russen gave him a deep impression of scheming. General Merin naturally had the most favorable impression of him. Although Hillfa was the one who went to Heaven Star to recall him, Alan did not have any bad impression of him. But this Fendi, Alan wished he could kill him.
Fendy was a complete lunatic, and a perverted lunatic. Alan's body was now covered in scars, and it was basically all thanks to him. However, his greatest injury to Allen was not his physical injuries, but his trampling on his spirit and dignity. Alan knew what he wanted to do, and Fendi wanted to destroy his will, so he did everything he could to humiliate him. But Allen's will was much stronger than he had imagined, but because of this, Allen's mental injuries were greater.
"Oh, what a sharp gaze. Does it look like you're in good spirits?" Fendy smiled and casually took a scalpel and smeared it on Ellen like butter. Seeing Alan's blood drip to the ground, Fendi sighed, "Because of your lack of cooperation, Mr. President is very angry now. Mr. President is in a bad mood, and you can see that I'm not much better. And in the end, you are the one who suffered."
"Look, as long as you tell us the secrets of the power of the Son of Twilight, wouldn't it be much easier for us all?" Fendy walked into Alan's room and said in a negotiating tone.
Alan sneered and spat blood on his face. "Don't tell me I don't know. Even if I did, I wouldn't tell you. If you have any tricks, just let me see. But remember, as long as I leave here alive. General Fendi, I promise that every night will be a nightmare you don't want to face!"
"What a terrifying threat."
Fendi patted her chest exaggeratedly and said without sincerity. He paused for a moment, then suddenly patted his head and said, "By the way, Mr. Allen, I wonder if you've heard of it." Every resident of Babylon is born with genetic samples collected by the Federation for the purpose of registering identity information. In fact, these gene samples have another function. When residents of Babylon suffer from serious illnesses, federal medical institutions can take these gene samples and use the gene data stored to provide patients with certain organs that can be replaced by grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams of grams. But we can do more, you know, with our technology, we can totally get rid of the inhabitants themselves, but these Cronins don't have souls or consciousnesses. "
"Here's the problem. I remember that your mother, Lanny, seems to be a resident of Babylon. In other words, the federal gene bank should still have information about your mother's samples."
Alan's heart skipped a beat and he said in a deep voice, "What do you want?"
'"I was wondering if Mr. Allen might want to see your mother again. I wonder if you'd like to see your mother's clone being fought by a few strong men. I guarantee that my men will be happy to do this, and even have them perform day and night …"
"Shut up!" '"If you dare to do that, I will kill you, Fendi!" Shouted Allen.
"Is that so? But I was just about to do it. Come here …" Fendi told a researcher. "Go find Lanny Beskard's genetic samples."
"But …"
Fendi walked over and reached out to break the man's neck. Then he said to the second person, "You do it."
The man looked at his companion's corpse and didn't dare to say anything else. He hurriedly turned around and left.
"Stop!" '"You can't do this, Fendy, stop!" Shouted Allen.
"It will take at most 24 hours for us to cultivate a complete Ke Long body …"
Alan's eyes were red as he roared like an angry lion, his hands clasped tightly to the heavy press pulling out. Even though the intense friction between his arm and the components of the machine made him bleed endlessly, he had no intention of stopping at all. Right now, there was only one thing he wanted to do, get out of the machine and kill the man in front of him.
Kill him.
Kill him!
"Kill him." Fendy took out her ear and said, "Well, you don't even need to say it. I can hear your heart clearly. But you can't do anything. You can just stay here and watch. This time tomorrow, you'll be able to see your beautiful mother's wonderful performance with your own eyes."
"Fendi" Allen suddenly stopped and said in an icy cold voice, "I will kill all your cells!"
"Oh, alright. I'll wait." Fendi said with a smile.
He turned around and left. Unfortunately, he walked too fast. If he stayed for a moment, he would see Alan's blood stains on the surface of the wound, on the instrument, or on the ground. Suddenly, he disappeared at the same time. Not only that, even the blood samples he had collected from his body had also disappeared from the vessel at the same time.
In his rage, some things quietly awakened.
