Chapter 1001 - Chapter 1001 Chapter 1005 Divine Pattern Body
Chapter 1001: Chapter 1005: Divine Pattern Body Chapter 1001: Chapter 1005: Divine Pattern Body “This is the key to your standing at the top of Dragon Gate, as both a Sword Cultivator and a Dragon Shepherd!” Mo Shou said.
“At Dragon Gate, you had escaped from one calamity, but today you cannot escape from this disaster!” Zhu Minglang said.
Riding on the fleeting Star Sword, Zhu Minglang had crossed through the burning fireforest, and he arrived in front of Mo Shou; his hand wielding the Night-Dyed Evil Sword aimed a direct chop at Mo Shou’s head.
Mo Shou moved his fingers, releasing strands of Puppet Silver Threads, which adhered to Zhu Minglang’s elbows and other bodily joints.
Like playing a piece of music, Mo Shou swiftly plucked his fingers, astonishingly using these Puppet Silver Threads to directly control Zhu Minglang’s body.
Zhu Minglang’s sword-wielding hand stopped, and he directed the sword toward his own neck.
In the form of Sword Spirit Dragon Sword, it immediately detached from Zhu Minglang’s hand and fiercely slashed at those Puppet Silver Threads.
With the Puppet Silver Threads severed, Zhu Minglang regained his freedom, and the Sword Spirit Dragon returned to his palm.
Mo Shou furrowed his brows.
He had underestimated Zhu Minglang’s strength, especially after the Sword Awakening erupted, which significantly boosted Zhu Minglang’s cultivation base, even granting him the ability to fight against a Divine Monarch.
Mo Shou raised his palm as if he was manipulating some massive object and slowly pressed it downward.
At that moment, a thunderous rumble erupted from the massive Earth Pavilion above his head; then, a terrifying mechanical hand emerged from the seven tiers of the Earth Pavilion. The hand was so large it could cover half of the underground world; controlled by Mo Shou, it reached down towards Zhu Minglang, under whom even a mosquito seemed insignificant!
Zhu Minglang had nowhere to hide.
No matter how Zhu Minglang swung his sword, he couldn’t break through this monstrous mechanical hand; it was like a mountain with massive finger peaks, and the base was collapsing towards Zhu Minglang, whose full strength was unable to break it.
“Miao~~~~~”
At this moment, Xuanlong let out a long cry.
Its Crescent Tail stood erect, and in the gloomy underground world, all one could see was its dazzling tail blade, while the fierce Xuanfeng once again swirled around its Crescent Tail!
“Whoa!”
With a heavy chop, Xuanlong’s Crescent Tail split the mechanical giant hand like a forceful chop through Mount Hua, those fingers and palm assembled from unknown materials and components were reduced to a pile of junk scrap, all falling down.
Zhu Minglang breathed a sigh of relief and gave Xuanlong a thumbs-up.
“Woo!!!!!!!!!”
Suddenly, an intense light of fire enveloped Zhu Minglang’s surroundings. Beneath him, a gigantic Phoenix was devouring the vast darkness at his feet. It wasn’t long before Zhu Minglang found himself deeply engulfed in terrifying flames, as if he had been accidentally trapped on the surface of the sun–rolling, scorching red flames swept over him like towering waves!
Within this crimson expanse, Zhu Minglang saw Mo Shou, who was standing unscathed amid the flames. His entire body was wrapped in glowing red fire, akin to wearing a suit of fiery armor, and his skin had turned an unusual bright red, making him look not quite human, but rather like he was cast from red gold!
On the red gold skin, dense, crystal-clear divine patterns were visible, harboring ancient and powerful forces, which made Mo Shou, the engineer, appear as if he had obtained the immense strength of a god demon. Beneath his feet, he stood on an Earthfire Phoenix that, although also transformed through his mechanical artistry, was no less formidable than a true Phoenix breed.
“Engineer, Dragon Shepherd, in the eyes of others, I am seen as physically weak, but it seems both of us have found a powerful method to change the rules,” Mo Shou declared proudly.
Mo Shou clenched his fiery red fist and suddenly hurled it heavily towards Zhu Minglang!
Above the scorching surface of the Earthfire, one after another, stars of flame emerged, resembling the splendid fireworks that bloom in the night sky over cities, yet far larger and more dangerous…
With Mo Shou’s punch, the space behind him filled with these giant fist-like stars, which recklessly poured down toward Zhu Minglang, forming an immensely shocking curtain of flaming fists!
Zhu Minglang drew his sword to meet the attack, sketching out the Bagua map over and over, but the star fists of flame persisted. Zhu Minglang’s Bagua maps were shattered layer by layer, and his body kept being pushed further and further back by the vast array of fiery fists!
Before Zhu Minglang could adjust his stance, the Earthfire Phoenix suddenly opened its mouth and spat out a shockingly fierce line of fire!
The fire line, possessing penetrating power, caused Zhu Minglang to duck and cover, yet he saw that it pierced through a distant shell layer, creating a much larger cave.
Unrelenting, the Earthfire Phoenix began to flap its enormous wings. Its feathers dispersed into the air and, combined with the strong winds it generated, eventually merged with the wind and feathers to form five circling whirlwinds of fire, flying towards Zhu Minglang.
Zhu Minglang, still regulating his breath, faced the ferocious wind-flames; he had no choice but to retreat.
However, Zhu Minglang soon discovered that these whirlwind flames halted about five hundred meters in front of him. In the strong whirlwind, he glimpsed the figure of Xuanlong. Xuanlong, clearly adept at wind manipulation, seemed able to sense any airflow in nature through its dark mane, and possibly even control all wind techniques through the movements of its mane.
The frightening whirlwind flames paused in front of Zhu Minglang and, with the intervention of a cool Xuanfeng, started to gradually dissipate.
Having neutralized this force, Xuanlong voluntarily flew in front of Zhu Minglang, indicating that Zhu Minglang should come onto its back.
Zhu Minglang leaped onto Xuanlong’s back. Xuanlong’s size was not immense; it was even quite close to the battle mounts used by commanders on the battlefield, suitable for the human stature and adaptable to human combat styles.
“Meow~~~~~~”
Xuanlong emitted a melodious call.
It was telling Zhu Minglang to leave the dodging of enemy attacks to it, and Zhu Minglang only needed to focus on wielding his sword.
“Buzz~~~”
The Sword Spirit Dragon also understood well; it immediately conjured the Sword Spirit Mountain and selected the war souls of all the heavy, big, and giant swords, attaching all these sword spirits to the surface of its sword body!
The sword in Zhu Minglang’s hand was continuously enlarging; though the gripping place of his palm and a normal longsword had little difference, the blade above the guard had reached a hundred meters long, with sword spirits swirling around it, forming a peak–Zhu Minglang now held a Mountain Giant Sword in his hand!
Xuanlong spread its wings–it could tread the air or soar, making its movements in the air extremely variable.
