Chapter 1000 - Chapter 1000 Chapter 1004 Earthfire Phoenix

Chapter 1000: Chapter 1004: Earthfire Phoenix Chapter 1000: Chapter 1004: Earthfire Phoenix Beneath the Earth Pavilion lay a vast expanse, so vast it felt like flying into a pitch-black sky dome.

The layers of ground and wall grew farther apart, and overhead was a continuous vault studded with self-luminous crystal stones. When fully submerged in this underground world, looking up one would find those twinkling crystal stones adorned the night sky like stars.

Advancing in the darkness, the surrounding void was extreme, as if all things had yet to be created, everything hushed in its primal state.

Suddenly, a scorching blaze of light appeared–a fiery red sphere embedded beneath the vast stratum, resembling the sun fallen from the sky dome to the mortal realm, vast, magnificent, mysterious!

Zhu Minglang sat upon the back of Xuanlong, continuously descending, seeking the instigator of all this, Mo Shou.

But deep underground, a view similar to the night sky unfolded, momentarily blurring the distinction between heaven and earth.

Finally, a figure emerged from the red fiery sphere of underground flames.

He stood atop the sphere of underground flames, his eyes emitting a blaze as intense as flames.

He stared at the approaching Zhu Minglang, yet his face broke into a smile!

“How do you feel after viewing my creations?” Divine Pattern Mo Shou asked.

“Severely ill,” Zhu Minglang responded with these four words.

“That’s because you still live within a constraining layer, a layer that is but artificially constructed, telling you the heights of heaven, telling you that you can only live on the ground. In fact, we can also change the laws and create a world. Zhu Minglang, why feign ignorance? You have climbed to the top of Heavenly Peak, haven’t you seen the true face of this world? The sky dome we look up to is perhaps just a blue wall, and behind that wall lurk countless more powerful spirits, surveying us, confining us, mocking us, controlling us, and yet we revere them as the heavens… Now, I too am emulating them, creating a similar world, albeit smaller and more flawed, but just give me some more time, and no one will question it, just as we never questioned the heavens!” Divine Pattern Mo Shou said.

Across the North Dipper God State, there are few deities who could understand these words, but Mo Shou believed the man before him certainly could.

He had witnessed the truth; Dragon Gate was the original law of the world’s birth. Some gods opened the heavens and the earth, some created all things, some reshaped the flora, and some brought light and darkness…

Those ancient gods were now the heavens revered by the multitudes, suggesting that as long as one is powerful enough, possesses genuine creativity, and knows how to craft a perfect lie, one could also become part of the heavens.

This is the divine path Mo Shou had comprehended.

“I don’t want to discuss these pointless divine secrets with you; you make me feel nauseous. I just want to send you on your way now. You can go to the Underworld and discuss your grand ideas with Ox-Head and Horse-Face; they might appreciate them, then toss you on the Beastly Reincarnation Bridge, and in your next life, you can be a stinking mud-crawling creature that likes to build nests!” Zhu Minglang slowly extended his hand and tightly grasped the Crimson Sword floating by his side.

Mo Shou, hearing these words, laughed even more brilliantly.

“All right, I understand now. The heavens are already fearing me. I have seen through it all; the heavens do not want me to know more, nor do they want me to create too much, so they have possessed your body, using you to strangle me. You have become the lapdog of the heavens, utterly unaware,” Mo Shou said.

“If that’s the case, such heavens are indeed reliable, and you truly deserve to die!” Zhu Minglang coldly said.

Fooling life.

In Mo Shou’s eyes, life was less than ants, merely a component in his mechanical divine powers, an apparatus, their emotions, their feelings, their dignity, all insignificant.

“The secrets of this world have been mastered by me,” Mo Shou said. “By ruling through the darkness and offering them light, everyone will honor me as the Divine Emperor. What lies beneath my feet is a new lifeline I’m granting to the Tian Ji Divine Area, and the Tian Ji God himself will submit to me.”

While speaking these words, the massive fireball at Mo Shou’s feet suddenly surged, and giant pillars of magma burst skyward, with countless ripples of flames spreading in all directions!

The Earthfire core, comparable to the blazing sun, was changing shape. Moments ago, it was a vast sphere, but as the flames erupted,

it began to transform.

It sprouted wings of flames, wings like clouds in the sky, shining brilliantly.

It manifested a head, the core of which was a type of Earth core rock tempered by Earthfire, clearly modified by Mo Shou, capable of transforming at will, resembling both phoenix and dragon!

It extended its claws, those rollicking magma and flames easily capable of laying waste to an entire city.

It grew gorgeous, stunning tails on its back, filled with flame crystals.

Eventually, the Earthfire core transformed into an Earthfire Phoenix, carrying Mo Shou as it floated above this vast underground world, exuding supreme pride and dignity!

“There will come a day when people dwell in this pitch-black underground, and then, as I ride the Earthfire Phoenix I created above them, I will become their sun!” Mo Shou declared.

“I get it; you like the sun. Soon I’ll be hanging your corpse on the city gate of Heavenly Pavilion City to sun-dry,” Zhu Minglang retorted.

Mo Shou kept talking to himself, with Zhu Minglang paying him no mind.

“Thinking of killing me? You’re not worthy!” Mo Shou scoffed.

No sooner had he spoken than a vast galaxy of sword light poured forth, this magnificent Milky Way made entirely of Zhu Minglang’s sword brilliance, with sword lights and shadows interweaving like chasing waves!

Seeing this, Mo Shou hurriedly commanded the Earthfire Phoenix beneath him.

The Earthfire Phoenix raised its fiery wings to block.

Even so, the Earthfire Phoenix was still pushed backward by the formidable sword galaxy, wave after wave of sword torrents brutally striking the body of the Earthfire Phoenix, extinguishing a portion of its flames.

Mo Shou staggered but eventually steadied himself, then stared in some astonishment at Zhu Minglang holding the sword.

“Your cultivation… Sword Cultivator??” At this moment, Mo Shou could clearly feel the strong spirit bursting from Zhu Minglang’s body, entirely different from ordinary Dragon Shepherds, “The sword in your hand… I see, I see!”

As a Mechanical Master, Mo Shou quickly understood.

In fact, the mechanical beasts that Mo Shou had created, as well as utilizing vampire dolls to manipulate powerful divine dragons, meant he too possessed abilities similar to those of Dragon Shepherds.
