Chapter 173: I’m Going To Make Her Life A Living Hell!!
She pulled out her phone, unlocked it, and handed it to Racheal. On the screen was a video, grainy but unmistakable of Olive and Lucas kissing passionately in a bathroom stall.
Racheal’s jaw dropped, her hand flying to her mouth as she stared at the screen. "Oh my goodness!" she murmured under her breath, her voice trembling with shock. She quickly handed the phone back to Anabella, her face pale. "What are we going to do? Report it to the school board? Earn some rewards for exposing her or what? She’s definitely not going to get away with this."
Anabella let out a low chuckle, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Oh, I have a better plan than that. There’s no need to report anything to the school board or even Mrs. George, not yet."
Racheal’s eyes widened. "Then what are you planning?"
"I’m going to make her life a living hell," Anabella said, her voice dripping with malice. "She’ll regret ever setting foot in this school. And I’ll get Lucas back, mark my words."

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Olive, Mark, and Lara sat in doctor Thompson office, their patience wearing thin.
"Do you think everything is okay? Why is his treatment taking so long?" Lucas asked, pacing back and forth like a caged animal. "It’s taking like forever."
"Can you please sit down? You’re making me dizzy," Lara said with an exasperated sigh. "They’ll be here soon."
Just as Lucas opened his mouth to respond, the door to Doctor Thompson’s office swung open. Aiden and the doctor stepped in, the former looking pale and exhausted.
"How was it? Are you okay, Aiden?" Lucas and Mark asked in unison, rushing over to their friend. They each grabbed one of Aiden’s arms, helping him to the chair while doctor Thompson settled down on his chair before them.
"It was tougher than the first time," Aiden admitted, his voice weak but steady. "But I made it through."
Doctor Thompson nodded, offering a reassuring smile. "Aiden handled it like a champ. This round of treatment is more aggressive, but we’re optimistic it will yield better results."
Olive, Mark, Lara, and Lucas exchanged hopeful glances, though their worry still lingered in their eyes.
"It better does doctor. We can’t wait to hear the good news. Aiden had been through so much for the past few months." Lara chimed in with a sad expression.
"We just have to keep being optimistic." Just like before, Aiden still needs all the care and attention in the world as this second treatment is more extreme than the first one." Doctor Thompson said, the smile still on his face.
"How long before we know if it’s working?" Mark asked, his tone earnest.
Doctor Thompson’s face grew serious. "We’ll need to run some follow-up tests and closely monitor Aiden’s progress over the next few weeks. But I have faith we’ll see positive signs soon."
Aiden offered the doctor a weak smile, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Thanks, Doc. I appreciate all you’re doing for me. He then turned his attention to his friends who still had worried expression on their faces. "Can you all stop the questions now? I’m perfectly fine."
"Anyways. I made another file that Aiden had to follow. The file containing the number of times he has to come to the hospital for tests and other important things. It’s very essential he comes for all appointments. He mustn’t miss a single one." Doctor Thompson warned as he handed over the file to Mark who collected it immediately.
"He wouldn’t doctor. That we can assure you." Lucas replied as he heaved a heavy sigh.
"Yeah, even if he doesn’t want to. We’ll make sure to drag him down here." Lara chimed in with a serious expression on her face.
"Good." Doctor Thompson replied with a light chuckle.
Olive gaze remained fixed on Aiden, her heart still aching as she hopes the treatment goes well this time. She knew how much Lucas loved his friend and those closed and losing anyone of them would definitely break him. That was just how much he cherished genuine relationships.
Her gaze shifted towards him, and even though he had this smile on his face, Olive knew he was hurting inside.
The group sat in thoughtful silence, digesting the news. Finally, Aiden broke the quiet with a sudden burst of cheer.
"Hey, can we get out of here now and get some food. I’m starving!" he said, his voice lightening the mood.
The group chuckled, the tension in the air dissipating slightly.
"Just remember to avoid anything too strenuous," Doctor Thompson advised with a gentle smile. "And stick to the files contain rules and guidelines I gave you during the first treatment as it is very important."
"We’ll make sure of it, Doctor," Lucas promised with a grateful nod. He and Mark helped Aiden to his feet, carefully supporting him.
As they walked toward the exit, Olive and Lara followed closely behind. The group’s spirits were higher now, buoyed by their shared determination.
As they stepped outside into the crisp afternoon air, Aiden leaned on Lucas and Mark for support but managed a determined smile.
"I’m going to beat this," he said with quiet conviction.
"And we’re going to beat it with you," Olive added, her voice filled with emotion. Tears shimmered in her eyes, but they were tears of hope.
"Let’s grab some food and head back to Belmont," Mark suggested, his tone upbeat. "You need to rest before we dive back into studying."
Aiden and the others nodded in agreement, their steps slow but steady as they moved toward the Lamborghini parked just before the hospital. Together they all entered while the chauffeur took his position at the wheel, driving the car out of the hospital building into the tiled street.
Unbeknownst to them, the calm of their moment would not last. Back at Belmont, Anabella’s plan was already in motion, and Olive’s life was on the brink of a storm she couldn’t yet see.
