Chapter 377 Rebirth

Chapter 377: Chapter 377 Rebirth

It was a photo album.

A soft layer of dust covered the leather cover, and in the center, the initials D. P. were pressed in gold—Daisy Parker. Her mother.

Lilith’s chest tightened.

She slowly walked over to the edge of the bed and sat down.

With quiet hands, she opened the album.

The first photo was of a young girl—her mother, Daisy. She was smiling, standing in front of a college gate, her hair tied up in a playful ponytail, wearing a blue dress and holding a stack of books. Her eyes... they looked so familiar. Lilith touched the edge of the photo, feeling something ache deep inside her.

Page after page revealed glimpses of a life once filled with laughter, youth, and dreams. Daisy with her friends—laughing over ice cream, celebrating birthdays, posing under cherry blossom trees.

And then, a photo that made Lilith pause.

Daisy standing next to a man whose face had been torn away.

Lilith blinked. The edges of the photo were ragged, as if someone had tried to erase him... but the arm slung around Daisy’s shoulder still remained. Strong. Possessive. Protective.

Lilith’s eyes narrowed.

She flipped more pages—some had dried flowers tucked between them, little notes in cursive handwriting, soft lipstick marks on napkins.

Alexander sat quietly in his private hospital room, the dim light of the bedside lamp casting long shadows across the sterile floor. The beeping of machines around him was soft but constant—an annoying reminder that he was still under observation. His laptop rested on his legs, the screen glowing faintly as he typed out the question that had been clawing at the back of his mind ever since he woke up from that disturbing simulation:

"What does it mean if you dream of something so realistic... like future events?"

He hit search. The page loaded.

The first result made him squint.

@Five_two_nine: Your dream is trying to tell you something important.

Dreams that feel vivid or too real often carry a deep emotional message or a subconscious warning. Pay attention to recurring themes and people in them.

He frowned, not satisfied. That dream wasn’t just emotional. It was vivid—too vivid. It wasn’t a memory, but it wasn’t fiction either. He remembered every second of it like he lived it.

He scrolled.

@CarryVisonapp_official ✓: You may be seeing glimpses of a possible future.

Some people believe dreams allow us to connect with the spiritual realm or tap into energy patterns that haven’t happened yet. These are sometimes called "vision dreams" or "prophetic dreams." Download Carry Vison for more!

"Prophetic," he scoffed lightly, but there was no humor in his voice.

Then his eyes landed on the third result, and a strange chill crawled up his spine.

@Useless_knight_444:Maybe you’re rebirth ahahah.

He blinked.

"...what the hell," he muttered, rereading it twice. The careless laugh at the end made him clench his teeth. But that word—rebirth—stood out.

Rebirth.

The dream where Lilith walked away from him. Her eyes full of sorrow. Her voice cold and detached. The way she ruled over Hell like a queen beside another man. How she looked happy. Free. Respected. Untouchable.

Had he seen her future?

Or worse... had he seen a world without him in it?

He scrolled more.

@yoursis: Lucid dreams can feel like another life.

Sometimes, your mind constructs a story so real it’s hard to believe it didn’t happen. Some even experience full storylines, with timelines, emotions, and memories they don’t recall making.

@user5: You may be tapping into an alternate timeline or parallel reality.

In spiritual theory, some dreams aren’t dreams at all but real experiences from another version of you, in another time, another place.

His fingers hovered above the trackpad. His throat felt dry.

Alternate timelines. Future visions. Rebirth?

He didn’t know what to believe.

All he knew was that Lilith was slipping away from him and if that dream was anything close to real... he wouldn’t survive it when she truly walked away.

Alexander closed the laptop slowly, the blue light fading from his eyes.

His fingers tightened into fists.

"...I won’t let it happen."

Whatever this dream was trying to show him—he refused to accept it. This wasn’t fate. It wasn’t prophecy.

It was a warning.

And he was still alive.

He’d missed too much already. Let too many pieces move behind the scenes while he lay trapped in shadows. But no more. This wasn’t the end. Not for him. Not for her. And certainly not for whatever bond existed between them.

The grip on his jaw loosened only when he heard a soft knock at the door.

Assistant Quinn entered, a leather folder tucked under his arm and sweat already forming at his temples. He had been dreading this moment for weeks.

"Boss..." Quinn greeted softly, placing the folder on the table. "Everything’s... mostly under control. We handled things as you ordered."

Alexander just nodded once, his jaw tight. "And?"

Quinn cleared his throat and began, "The regular operations are running fine. Daily targets are being met. Your absence was barely noticed by outsiders. I made sure of that."

"But..." Alexander raised an eyebrow, sensing it.

"...But," Quinn continued, "there were some board-level meetings that really needed your personal presence. I’ve managed to delay those until next month, but if you can’t show up by then, I’m afraid the board might push for a proxy vote."

Alexander’s eyes narrowed. "They wouldn’t dare."

"They wouldn’t," Quinn said quickly, "if they believed you were still fully active. But with your silence, the vultures are getting curious."

Alexander let out a slow breath. "What else?"

Quinn hesitated before continuing, "Blake Group is making moves."

That name instantly made Alexander’s fingers twitch.

"They’ve already snatched our upcoming international distribution deal. That was a hundred-million-dollar contract, Boss. We were the top bidder... until Kai stepped in."

"Kai?" Alexander’s voice dropped dangerously low.

"Yes," Quinn muttered, swallowing hard. "Kai Blake. Sienna’s stepbrother. The same man who’s been seen hanging around Miss Lilith. He—uh—he’s... trying to snatch both your business and... and your girlfriend."

There was silence.

An eerie, suffocating silence.
