Destroy My Life In You
Chapter 34: Samsara II

Chapter 34: Samsara II

"Alaric, I don’t like this place anymore."

Silence!

"Take me back home I’ll dance for you."

Silence!

"Alaric, you know I love you, right? If you sell me to the devil I..."

Alaric groaned in frustration and pulled Ravenna to his arms, looking at the black door in front of them, then back at her. "I won’t let anything happen to you. Happy?"

Ravenna shook her head continuously then whispered worriedly, "Not at all. I want to go back."

Looking at the blood painted surfaces, those animal skulls and some that were even human, every single sign scared her. She was starting to regret why she had not insisted on staying back instead of being brought to another hell. The front was just a façade to conceal the dark business going on there.

"How did you even become a top assassin with how easily you get scared?" Still holding her, he asked.

"I deal with humans not some kind of a demonic cult."

Alaric stared at her amused before letting out a soft chuckle and knocked her head with the back of his fingers. "This tiny head of yours overthinks a lot. Let’s go in and if you don’t like it, then I’ll allow you to go back."

Ravenna narrowed her eyes at him and then nodded. "If you deceive me again I’ll run away from here and your life too, then you’ll never see me again."

"Not a chance will you get." Alaric rubbed her head messing up her hair which earned a yelp from her but he could not care less and pulled her along.

Opening the black door, a slow music hit the air as the two individuals got in. Alaric was unfazed but, Ravenna felt her breath stop the moment they stepped in, then started roaming her eyes around the place, not missing any detail, before they fell on something and got glued there. Her mouth was wide open with shock unable to move further.

Alaric noticed her frozen body and could not help shaking his head. It was really a bad idea to have brought her along with him. He held her hand but she did not move nor flinch as she stared at the ladies swaying their waists and that was not all, they had nothing on them, completely naked the reason for her bewildment.

After a few seconds, Ravenna snapped out and looked at Alaric who was now annoyed. "Alaric..."

"No. There no males." He interrupted replying, as if he had guessed what she wanted to ask. If there were any naked male strippers, not in a million years would he tell her or else he might just get dumped on the second day of their being together which he had not even made use of. He had to make her understand she belonged to him until he said otherwise, and he would do so soon, starting tonight.

Frowning, Ravenna knew something was not right especially when he saw that evil smirk on Alaric but chose to remain silent. "Aren’t we there yet? How long do we keep going?" She asked impatient.

"We are here." Alaric replied his eyes locked on someone., precisely a man. "Come with me."

Ravenna detected his change of mood and followed him till he took a seat opposite the same man he was glaring at. The had not yet noticed Alaric who was there, too occupied with the three ladies who were caressing his body and dancing on top of him seductively.

Ravenna had only seen such kind of things on movies and now felt a little bit excited watching with her own eyes. Too lost in her fantasy, she was awoken when her hand was pulled and she fell on the couch beside Alaric.

"What’s with hand pulling all the time? You could just chop..." She went mum when she noticed Alaric’s expression grow grim. "Don’t get too gloomy... I don’t like it. Smile, hmm? Like this... Smile... Yes! That’s it." Ravenna carefully shaped his lips into a reluctant smile, but got pushed away and he looking away from her.

"Mr. Nightveil, you didn’t inform you were coming?" The man who had been watching them since he spotted Alaric pulling a girl’s hand said, dismissing the ladies he was with.

Alaric chuckled but his eyes said otherwise. Full of animosity and bloodthirst. "I didn’t know I was supposed to take permission before coming to my own club, Mr. Smith."

"Your own? The club is yours?" Ravenna interrupted catching the attention of the two, but mainly the middle-aged man named Mr. Smith.

"Shut. Up." Alaric whispered under his gritted teeth dragging his words then turned back to Mr. Smith.

"That’s not what I meant, Mr. Nightveil. Not many people here know your identity and might be treated hostilely." Mr. Smith smirked knowingly feeling proud about something.

"Is that why Mr. Smith is trying to steal My club, Samsara, from me?"

Mr. Smith’s smile fell as he sat upright with a somehow suspicious worried look. "I... Mr. Nightveil, where did you hear that from?"

"I’ve got my ears everywhere. Nothing goes on here without my knowledge, Mr. Smith."

Mr. Smith felt a little bit afraid but got confident knowing the people here acknowledged him as the real owner of Samsara Club so it would not be possible for Alaric to do anything. He had everything planned out and would not allow anyone to disrupt his plan. "Then let’s stop the chase and make a deal. I’ll give you a hundred thousand dollars for you to leave the club for me. How about that?"

Alaric felt like reaping out the man’s heart out at that moment but a slow painful death was his style. But before he could reply, the person beside him burst into a hysterical laughter then he heard her saying, or precisely, talking to the Mr. Smith, "Old man, stop joking around... A hundred thousand dollars is not even enough to purchase Alaric’s television and you want to buy his club at that price? You are bad, a badass actually." And she continued chuckling on her own.

Mr. Smith smiled amused, his eyes displaying lust for the girl. From his heightened knowledge, he could see Alaric had something for the little girl for to tolerate when she interrupted his business talk. It was unlike him and so, the old man started desiring more than he could get. "You got quite a taste, Mr. Nightveil."

"Am not here for your shitty talk. Leave my club silently and I’ll let you be if not..."

"This is my territory now so that should be line. And... I’ll add fifty thousand for the lady. She’s quite my..."

Mr. Smith had not completed his statement when he felt his neck gripped by Alaric, as he knelt before him. As for how he got into that position, not even Ravenna could tell. He had done it so fast that no human eye could detect his movement.

"You dare lust over my woman. Killing you right now will be too easy." Alaric voice was low and only Ravenna knew the weight of that tone. Dangerous and anguishing, making one want to just vanish than suffer on the hands of Alaric. He emitted this cold aura that could make one shiver under it with just a brief glance from him.

"Alaric..." Mr. Smith choked unable to say a word as Alaric tightened his grip.

"Wait for me outside." That was directed to Ravenna, but his eyes were still on Mr. Smith, who was in shock witnessing the glow in them.

Ravenna wanted to argue but then she remembered something. She jumped off the couch and left the place with a smile, which Alaric did not miss, but now was not the moment to think about her. He had to wipe the pest which was trying to reap what it had not sown and double-cross him.

"Now, where were we, Mr. Smith?"
