That means that I have acquired as much power as I gained in 100 years of life in just one year of becoming a vampire. I can't be ashamed of that."

The higher vampire scoffed. "Bah. Don't take the high ground with me. You are a traitor, is all that you are. You betrayed your race when you brought outsiders here to destroy my work. So don't act high and mighty with me."

Crystal Magi was stunned when he heard that. He couldn't believe what he heard, so he had to recall what he just heard to make sure that he wasn't mistaken.
