Depraved Noble: Forced To Live The Debaucherous Life Of An Evil Noble! -
Chapter 245 - 245: Duties Of The Man Of The Household
But just as Skadi surrendered to the bliss, a faint rumble broke through her haze, the sound of wheels rolling, a cart approaching. Her eyes then immediately snapped open at the sound, her heart lurching as she realized Lucius was returning with the crate.
Panic surged through her, and with a flustered squeak, she broke the kiss, her lips tingling as she jumped off Cassius's lap, landing in front of the desk with a soft thud.
Her cheeks burned, her tail drooping as she smoothed her clothes, her gaze darting nervously to the door, praying no one had seen.
At that exact moment, Lucius entered, his face slick with sweat as he carefully maneuvered a cart that a massive wooden crate on top, its surface weathered and heavy, rolling it to a stop before Cassius's desk.
He let out a shaky sigh, wiping his brow with a trembling hand, his voice full relief and dread. "I...I did it, Young Master." He said, his tone wavering. "I survived, barely." He stepped back quickly, as if the crate might explode, and darted behind Cassius's chair, using his master as a shield, his eyes wide with lingering fear.
Cassius glanced back at him, his voice dry with amusement. "Really, Lucius?" He said, his tone teasing. "Hiding behind me like that crate's gonna bite you? Man up, will you?"
Julie and Aisha, their arms laden with wands, approached the desk, their curiosity piqued by the crate's arrival. Julie's eyes narrowed as she studied it, her voice cautious but intrigued.
"So this is it?" She asked, stepping closer, her boots clicking on the rug. "Your 'toys'? What's in there, Cassius? Lucius looked like he was rolling in a wild baby dragon."
Aisha on the other hand, clutching her new wand and the bundle of others, tilted her head, her gaze flicking to Skadi, who stood awkwardly in front of the desk, her face flushed and her tail twitching nervously.
"Hold up..." Aisha said, her voice sharp with suspicion as she squinted at her friend. "Skadi, what's with you? You look like you just crawled out of a sauna! Why're you so red? And why do you look all...flustered?" Her tail flicked, her eyes narrowing as she leaned closer, sniffing the air. "Something's up, isn't it?"
Skadi's cheeks blazed, her voice a flustered squeak as she waved her hands, her tail drooping. "N-Nothin's up!" She stammered, her eyes darting to Cassius, then away. "It's just...it's hot in here, that's all! Yeah, too warm, makin' me all sweaty! Nothin' weird, Aisha, I swear!" Her blush deepened, her gaze fixed on the floor, praying Aisha would drop it.
Aisha's lips twitched, her voice skeptical but distracted by the crate. "Hmph, sure." She muttered, her tail swishing as she turned to the crate, her curiosity overriding her suspicions. "Whatever, I'll grill you later. Right now, I wanna know what's in this box. Cassius, spill, what's so special about these 'toys' that Lucius is scared witless?"
Cassius opened his mouth ready to answer. But when Julie stepped forward, her hand brushing the crate's latch like she might pop it open, he sat up, his voice quick and firm.
"Hold on, Julie, don't touch that." Julie froze, her hand hovering as she glanced at him, brow raised. He waved her off, his tone softening but serious. "No need to crack it open just yet. I trust my craftsmanship, nothing's gonna go wrong but these things are dangerous. Really dangerous. So, I'd rather handle them myself, make sure they're safe before you all start poking around."
He then glanced at Aisha, his smile turning sly.
"Besides, if I told you what's in there, I'm betting you'd get all skittish, Aisha, and try to talk me out of bringin' them. Can't have you ruining my fun, scaredy-cat."
Aisha's eyes narrowed, her voice indignant as she jabbed a finger at him. "Scaredy, cat? Me? I'm not scared of anything you've got in that box! I can handle whatever you throw at me, Cassius, so don't even try that!" Her wand waved in her hand, punctuating her defiance, but Cassius just shook his head, his chuckle low and dismissive.
"I'm not taking any chances, kitten." He said, his tone teasing as he ignored her protests and turned to Julie. "So, what's the plan? When are we heading out?"
Julie, her hand still lingering near the crate, sighed, a flicker of disappointment in her voice as she stepped back. "We were actually planning to leave the moment we got your approval." She said, her tone brisk. "We're even ready to head out now, if that works for you. Everything's packed, and we've got our route mapped. Is now good?"
Cassius tilted his head, his brow furrowing slightly.
"Now? That's a rush." He said, his voice curious. "The ritual's a week away, right? Eastern border's what, two days' ride? Why the hurry?"
Julie nodded, her voice steady. "It's a precaution. We want buffer time in case we hit trouble, bandits, bad weather, anything. Plus, we need to scout the area, get eyes on the cult's stronghold before we strike. Better to be early than caught off guard."
Cassius leaned back, his fingers twiddling with a pen that Isabelle had gifted him as he considered her words. "Fair enough." He said, then paused, his tone shifting. "But I'm gonna need a couple hours before we go. Got some...personal matters to wrap up at home, and I need to gear up. That alright?"
Aisha, who'd been quietly buzzing with excitement at the thought of traveling with Cassius, hoping to show off her skills, maybe earn more of his praise, felt a pang of disappointment.
Her voice came out haughtier than she meant, her arms crossing. "A couple hours? What's so important you're delaying our mission for? Some big noble job you gotta handle?" She tried to sound annoyed, but her words carried a hint of petulance, her hope for time with him dimming.
Cassius raised an eyebrow, his smile turning sly as he studied her, like he was weighing whether to tease her further. "You sure you wanna know, Aisha?" He asked, his voice low and teasing. "I could tell you, but you'll probably get all flustered and regret asking. You ready for the truth?"
Aisha scoffed, her voice defiant as she waved her wand dismissively. "Flustered? Please, it's no big deal. Just say it, Cassius. What's the holdup?"
Cassius sighed, his smile widening as he leaned forward, his gaze sweeping over Julie, Aisha, and Skadi. "Alright, you asked for it." He said, his voice a playful drawl. "If I'm heading out for seven days, that's a long time away from my family. Sure, we're tight, our love's strong enough to cross continents, no matter where I am. They'll feel me, I'll feel them, all that sappy stuff...But love ain't the only thing they'll be missing." His tone turned wicked, his eyes glinting with mischief. "See, my ladies, my wives, my girls, they were all sweet and innocent before I came along. But now? They're...let's say, hungry. Crave me, body and soul."
"If I leave 'em high and dry for a week, they'll be climbing the walls, all worked up and suffering. So, I gotta take these few hours, give them what they need, bang them hard, love them deep, make sure they're so satisfied they won't think about my dick for seven days."
Hearing this absurd reason, Aisha's face turned scarlet, her voice choking as she stammered, her wand nearly slipping from her grip. Julie coughed, her hand covering her mouth to hide her own flush, her eyes darting away, while Skadi, still lingering near the desk, bit her lip, her tail wagging as she suppressed a giggle, clearly unfazed by his bluntness.
Cassius didn't stop, his voice rolling on, casual but deliberate. "And it's not just them." He said, his tone almost thoughtful. "My maids, too, some of them would keel over without a piece of me. Gotta take care of them, work overtime, make sure everyone's covered. It's a logistical nightmare, figuring out who gets how long, where, how hard. Real man's work, you know?"
Aisha threw up her hands, her voice shrill with embarrassment. "Okay, enough! Stop! I don't need the dirty details, Cassius! Handle your...whatever on your own, gods!" She turned away, her cheeks burning, muttering under her breath. "Should've never asked. What is wrong with him?"
Cassius chuckled, his voice righteous as he argued back. "Dirty? Nah, Aisha, it's not dirty, it's just how you keep a household happy. Man of the family's gotta step up, provide what's needed. You wouldn't get it, kitten. It's a struggle only a real man understands." He shook his head, his smile smug, as if imparting some grand wisdom.
Aisha groaned, her voice dripping with regret. "I take it back. I regret everything. Why did I even ask?" She clutched her wands tighter, refusing to meet his gaze, her embarrassment palpable.
Julie cleared her throat, her voice firm as she steered the conversation back. "Right, well." She said, her tone brisk. "We'll meet in a few hours, then. Entrance to the Ashbirch Forest, just past the estate's gates. Be there with...whatever you need." Her eyes flicked to the crate, curiosity lingering, but she sighed. "One thing, though, how are you planning to bring that thing along? We're packing light, traveling on horseback. A carriage would slow us down, and we can't afford that."
Cassius glanced at the crate, his smile mysterious. "Don't worry about it, Captain." He said, his voice smooth. "I'll handle it. I have my ways. You just focus on the road."
Julie frowned, clearly puzzled, but nodded. "Fine, I'll trust you on that." She said, her tone skeptical. "We'll head out now, get everything ready. See you in a few hours." She turned, gesturing to Aisha and Skadi, her boots clicking as she headed for the door.
Aisha followed, still flushed, shooting Cassius a quick, embarrassed glare before muttering, "Weirdo" under her breath, while Skadi lingered a moment, her eyes locking with Cassius's, her lips parting in a longing, almost pleading kiss blown his way, like she yearned to stay and witness his 'family matters' with a shy smile, before she scampered after Julie, her tail wagging as she left.
After waving them goodbye with a smile on his face, Cassius suddenly stood, his posture shifting to one of purpose, his voice sharp as he turned to Lucius.
"Alright, Lucius, let's move." He said, his tone commanding. "Round up the household, wives, maids, everyone. Tell them I'm leaving for a week, and if they want a piece of me, they better get to the bedroom now. No time to waste." His smile was lascivious, his eyes glinting with intent, like a man on a mission.
Lucius's cheeks pinked in response, his voice steady but tinged with unease.
"Of course, Young Master." He said, bowing slightly. "I'll...inform everyone of your intentions." He then hesitated, then added under his breath. "I might need earplugs for this one. It's probably going be really loud with moans echoing through the mansion for a few hours."
His eyes flicked to the ceiling, already dreading the chaos to come, as he hurried out to relay the message, the office falling silent behind him...i
